Nick dips his toes into the popular true crime genre for this one episode. He talks about a murder that took place on the street he grew up on a year before he was born. A small town murder where the town took the killers side and the narrative became that the victim deserved it. Nick digs deeper and finds a lot of messed up parts of the case that make the narrative & the light sentencing of the killer seem insane.
I talk to my former Professor & Career mentor Chris Xaver about her career path starting with getting accepted at Syracuse University's prestigious Newhouse School for journalism, working in radio broadcasting and how her career has gone in many different directions from television news reporting, to head of a Broadcasting department at a College all the way to hosting her own Cooking Show on PBS.
