3 questions to help you thrive even during COVID19

Play Episode Listen Later Mar 21, 2020 21:47

Every moment of your life you're answering three questions, and the more aware you are about them, the better you take charge of what is happening to you. The three questions are: What am I focusing on? What does it mean to me? What am I going to do about it? We're constantly asking ourselves these questions, but we do so unconsciously most of the time. This result in feelings of anxiety and stress: we're overwhelmed with bad news, of the economy crashing, of people losing their jobs. When we let life happen to us, we feel despair and guilt, because another day went by and we don't feel we're in charge of what's happening. It's time to change that. In the first episode of "You Can Make It" podcast, we want to talk about how to be in charge of what's happening around us, how to focus on what matters and react the right way. Whatever we focus on, we feel. Where your focus goes, so does your energy. It's time to channel that in the best possible way. Once you have the right focus, you need to think what does it mean for you, what emotions does it drive? What does it mean this that it's happening to you? Is it challenging? Is it boring? Is it a gift? Is it an opportunity? Your reaction is your own decision. You can decide your next action and you're the only one responsible for the outcome. You can watch tv, read the news, complain... or do the exact opposite. This episode is brought to you by Audible: head over to Audibletrial.com/youcanmakeit and get a free audiobook.
