In this emotional and raw segment, Brandon Tierney reflects on his departure from WFAN, framed by a sense of profound professional victory rather than bitterness. BT reveals that his childhood "mission" was simply to make it onto the legendary airwaves of The Fan—a goal he officially considers "Mission Accomplished." He discusses the importance of the three pillars he teaches his children—Work Hard, Have Fun, Be a Leader—and how staying true to those values allowed him to "empty the tank" and leave without a single regret. Despite the unexpected return of Craig Carton displacing his show, BT shares a message of maturity and resilience, emphasizing that while he couldn't control management's decisions, he mastered everything within his power: his preparation, his passion, and his integrity. As long-time callers offer their tears and support, BT exits not as a victim of corporate shuffling, but as a broadcaster who achieved his dream and is ready for a new garden to grow.

Former police commissioner Andrew Coster claims he had briefed Chris Hipkins on Jevon McSkimming's alleged misconduct in 2022, and briefed Mark Mitchell in 2024. Coster stepped down as Chief Executive of the Social Investment Agency this week, after an IPCA report showed failures in how the police dealt with allegations against McSkimming. Both Hipkins and Mitchell have denied Andrew Coster's claims, and both have released statements saying they would have taken action had they known. There are many men and women way smarter than I will ever be but that doesn't make their teaching right. I want to challenge you to read the bible for yourself and not study another man's teaching and take it as gospel. Since the 1500s, man has fought and divided over teachings that are not from God, they are simply man's ideas. Hundreds of denominations have formed from these teachings but before these teachings there was one church with one message. Paul said there is one foundation, Jesus, and we are to be careful on how we build upon that foundation. He also makes it clear there are things that Timothy, as well as us, are to do. We discuss these things in the second half of 2 Timothy.

"If you optimize your hormones, you lose depression, you lose anxiety, you feel good again, you're energized, you're good to go." A mission born from struggle. Former cop and veteran Michael Seemann faced burnout, depression, and a body that was shutting down—until he discovered the power of hormone optimization. That breakthrough became Evolving Vitality, a clinic dedicated to restoring men's health through hormone balance, mental wellness, and affordable access to life-changing care. In the second part of my conversation with Eric Jay Dolin, (author of "Left for Dead," a true story about a captain of a sealing ship who was marooned on the Falkland Islands for 18 months in the early 1800s), we talk about the squishier side of writing, including dealing with your inner critic, getting through the parts of sharing your work that you'd really rather avoid, and managing your own expectations for how many copies your book will sell while also doing what you can to sell as many as possible. We talked about:- Getting geared up for giving talks as an introvert who grew up painfully shy (and the speaking tip that helps)- The appeal of writing a book that will still be relevant in 30, 40, or more years- How being in his 60s has affected his writing schedule, and his stress levels- How being a writer can put you out of step with your friends once they start to hit retirement age, and you are still plugging along- Taking aim at the belief that if you work hard, everything will work out- The mystery and serendipity that impact how well your book sells- The difference between wanting your book to sell well and expecting it toVisit Eric at ericjaydolin.com.For full show notes with links to everything we discuss, plus bonus photos!, visit katehanley.substack.com.Thank you for listening! And thanks to this week's sponsor, Aqua Tru. In this explosive episode, former USC football standout Owen Hanson—once living the dream on the field—reveals how he plunged into the dark underworld of the Sinaloa Cartel, moving hundreds of millions in cocaine across continents. Known as “O-Dog”, Hanson opens up about his journey from campus celebrity and sports bookmaker to international drug trafficker working directly with El Chapo's network. Host Johnny Mitchell dives deep into Hanson's transformation—from selling steroids to teammates at USC, to orchestrating high-level cartel deals spanning Peru, Mexico, Australia, and the U.S. Hanson recounts the lavish highs, the paranoia of living double lives, and the eventual FBI sting that brought it all crashing down. Now a free man and entrepreneur, Hanson shares how he rebuilt himself after prison, founding California Ice Protein and using his story to warn others about ego, greed, and the illusion of power. This episode blends crime, redemption, and raw honesty—a gripping story of how a promising athlete became a global kingpin, and how he's now rewriting his legacy. Go Support Owen! Apparently, hope is controversial now. Who knew? I've been posting about hope lately, and people have been telling me I'm tone deaf because the supply chain is broken and the economy is terrible. One of my friends literally can't be happy until the supply chain is fixed (even though he doesn't work in supply chain). When did we start tying our personal lives to global numbers we don't control?I spent nearly 20 years as an excuse factory—blaming my parents, my boss, the economy, my background—and it got me nowhere. Then I discovered something radical called personal responsibility. In this episode, I'm sharing my simple philosophy: hope hard, work hard. Start where you are with what you have. Because here's the truth—you can't wait for the world to be perfect to change your own life. The only way to change the world is to change you first. I'll share how getting up early to pay off a car loan eventually led to building two kindergartens in Vietnam. We're back with another “Ask Adam Anything” episode and today's topic is something culture often overlooks: rest. While busyness is celebrated and productivity is praised, Emily and I talk about how true renewal comes when we step back and embrace rhythms of rest. On the flip side, many people think they're overworked and burned out - when it turns out they might just be bored! Work is a gift from God and we should do it with purpose! Friends, if you've ever felt worn out by the constant go-go-go of life, this episode is for you. I encourage you to find your rhythm where you can work hard AND rest hard. On the first day of each month, we release Grace & Knowledge, a more in-depth article from Paul that allows him to expand on biblical truths beyond his weekly Wednesday's Word. Our prayer is that this resource helps you “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen” (2 Peter 3:18).In this month's Grace & Knowledge, Paul identifies five dangers that can quietly corrupt our pursuit of achievement. We've been redeemed to achieve — not for our own glory, but for the glory of the Lord, who empowers us to do all things by his grace.
