The Wicked Library is a Parsec Award winning show featuring horror fiction stories from upcoming, new, independent and bestselling authors. Our Tales of terror are read by Host / Producer, Daniel Foytik and other popular voice actors and feature custom music to bring the stories to life. Each episode features the work of some of the best voices in independent horror fiction. Authors of all types have contributed stories, like Jessica McHugh, KB Goddard, C. Bryan Brown, Stephanie Wytovich, and bestselling authors like Neil Gaiman and Owl Goingback. If you'd like to be a featured author on the show see our website for submission guidelines.

Listeners of The Wicked Library that love the show mention: wicked library, horror fiction podcasts,The Wicked Library podcast is a must-listen for any fan of horror and dark fiction. I have been listening to this podcast for several years now, and I continue to be impressed by the high quality of the stories, narration, and production value. The library is filled with a wide range of authors, each bringing their own unique voice to the genre. One standout feature of this podcast is the incredible talent of Daniel Foytek as Old Frank Enfield. His voice, narration, and writing style are absolutely perfect for this character, and his contributions to the show have always been a highlight for me.
Another standout voice actor on this podcast is Graham Rowatt, known for his work on The No Sleep Podcast and The Grey Rooms. While I am a huge fan of Rowatt's voice acting skills, I have to admit that he does not quite capture the essence of Frank Enfield as well as Foytek did. This transition has taken some getting used to, but it does not detract from the overall quality of the podcast.
One aspect that could use improvement is the release schedule and consistency of episodes. Over the years, there have been periods where episodes were released sporadically or with long gaps in between. As a Patreon member who pays for early access to episodes, I hope that things will level out and become more consistent in the future.
Despite this minor drawback, The Wicked Library remains one of my favorite podcasts. The selection of stories is excellent, covering a wide range of horror themes and styles. The narration is top-notch, with talented voice actors bringing these tales to life in chilling detail. Additionally, the interviews with authors provide valuable insights into their creative process.
In conclusion, if you are a fan of horror fiction and enjoy well-crafted storytelling accompanied by immersive sound design and expert narration, then The Wicked Library podcast is definitely worth checking out. With its extensive library of episodes spanning several years, this podcast offers a treasure trove of dark and twisted tales that should not be missed. I highly recommend becoming a Patreon supporter to ensure the continued success of this fantastic podcast and gain access to all the wonderful stories it has to offer.

Our stories contain graphic descriptions of pain, murder, violence, blood, betrayal, and inhumanity; monsters win, people die, and hope is often shattered. There is also beauty, heart, catharsis, and raw emotion. Fear may be deeply personal, but we all share it.If at any time a story takes you to a place too dark, turn on the lights, press pause, or press stop. And always remember, that unlike in the real world, these nightmares, and your participation in them, are under your control.Producer & Showrunner: Daniel Foytik Producer: Meg WilliamsLead Editor & Executive Producer: Scarlett R.
