Hidden Gems Worth Adding to Your Playlist That's not to say other genres aren't represented. Quite the opposite. UK Garage makes a strong showing with "Work Dub" by Pupa Nas T, SHUFFA, and Denise Belfon, a fresh rework of the classic Masters At Work anthem. Another standout is "Anything Goes" by Kaleena Zanders, a personal favorite that's flying under the radar. We highly recommend adding it to your Spotify and Apple Music playlists. This is another song that's not receiving the attention it deserves, and we strongly recommend adding it to your Spotify and Apple Music playlists. If the buttery vocals from Tones and I don't immediately pull you in, the infectious hook certainly will. While his Stardust-inspired mashup of "Just The Way You Are" by Milky is noteworthy, his collaboration with German DJ/producer Marten Hørger under the name Men Machine is particularly intriguing because it moves away from his signature polished, big-room EDM sound. Instead, it leans heavily into late-80s industrial influences, most evident on "The Past, The Present, The Future," featured in Volume One of Summer Leap. The track leans heavily into the spirit of 90s House music and is currently shaking dance floors around the globe. That's not to say Future House and other modern styles no longer have a place—they absolutely do. However, by incorporating more House music and classic dance influences into their productions, today's DJs and artists are creating a richer and more diverse musical experience. Next up in my series of Countermelody “vacation episodes,” here's the tenor counterpart of the soprano episode I published at the beginning of the week. This is the Historical Recording Enterprises mid-1970s release of the first of two issues of “Ten Top Tenors in Ten Live Performances.” Included in the mix are Carlo Bergonzi, Jussi Björling, José Carreras, Franco Corelli, Giuseppe di Stefano, and others singing favorite tenor arias from Manon Lescaut, La forza del destino, L'elisir d'amore, Tosca, among others, in live performances recorded between 1950 and 1976. The album is punctuated by my commentary on each of the individual singers, usually respectful, sometimes a little sassy. Okay, I genuinely don't know how many times Tom Oord has been on this podcasttwenty plus times, but this one felt different, because Tom has officially done the thing: he wrote a Systematic Theology of Love, Volume One, which is also his 50th book, which means his wife has had to endure approximately 50 different versions of "another love book." We dug into what makes this project unusual — a progressive, open relational systematic theology organized around love as its orienting concept, built on abductive reasoning rather than deductive certainty, which turns out to matter a lot when the thing you're centering is inherently vulnerable, risky, and relational. Tom walked us through his claim that God is a universal spirit who is genuinely material without having a localized body, why he's done with creatio ex nihilo and what his very Latin replacement actually means, the distinction between animate organisms and inanimate aggregates (rocks, it turns out, are great for explaining panpsychism), and why he's invented a new word — Gino-Theology — to talk about God as a dynamic becoming rather than a static being. We also covered why he thinks Whitehead solved both the problem of evil and the problem of good, what he's planning for Volume Two around Christology and divine hiddenness, and ended up somewhere around the enchantment of the universe.
