It's been 13 years since 'Avatar' premiered and became the highest grossing movie of all time, which is why the first teaser trailer for its long awaited sequel is a big deal. Jim and AJ review the latest trailer for 'Avatar: The Way of Water' and discuss why this franchise is so popular. But first, they have some things to say about the trailers for 'Men' and 'Weird.'

Say what you will about the movies of 2021, but their trailers were pretty commendable. Despite COVID, trailers did the best they could to get people excited about movies again. AJ and Jim each present their own Top 3 favorite trailers from the last year.

Jim finally gets to dish out all of his thoughts about Dune, and there's a lot. We also get nostalgic with Jackass Forever and discuss medieval facial hair in The Last Duel.

These are exciting times! At long last, it seems that movies – and their trailers – are coming back to sell us on the theatrical experience. There are simply too many recently released trailers to talk about in one episode, so for this episode, we narrow our conversation down to two things that are near and dear to us: Marvel and musicals. We discuss the latest trailers for Marvel's "Black Widow" as well as "Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" – plus trailers for Steven Spielberg's "Westside Story" and the film adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda's "In the Heights," both of which premiered on the Oscars telecast. We also return to the topic of corporate sizzle reels, reviewing Netflix's "Summer Movie Preview" and "Marvel Studios Celebrates the Movies."

In this episode we take a look at the ultra violent 'Mortal Kombat' trailer, debate the intentions of 'Cruella,' and give an oral history of the origins of "The Snyder Cut." Oh, AJ also describes what it was like to live in Texas last week.

For our main event, we review the first trailer for 'Godzilla vs. Kong,' an upcoming Warner Bros. movie that promises an epic showdown between two of cinema's most iconic monsters. It looks big, dumb and fun – just how AJ wants it. We also have a bone to pick with another recent trailer from WB that promotes all of their movie releases for 2021.

Every Fall season comes with a heap of movies vying for prestigious awards, and with Fall on the horizon we're beginning to see these movies' trailers. One got arguably the worst reception you could imagine, and the other stirred up more excitement than any trailer that's premiered there in years. It's a sequel episode! After reviewing their first trailers several episodes back, we now review the second trailers for 'Halloween' and 'First Man' (hence this being a sequel episode). 'Halloween' brings back Jamie Lee Curtis as well as the original actor who played Michael Meyers, and 'First Man' is the Neil Armstrong biopic from 'La La Land' director Damien Chazelle, starring Ryan Gosling. Plus, AJ has a surprising reaction to the latest trailer for 'The Favourite', which just might be Jim's favorite trailer of the year. We also discuss the first trailer for 'Front Runner', starring Hugh Jackman as the infamous '88 presidential candidate Gary Hart, before finally addressing a bizarre trailer for 'Disney's The Nutcracker and the Four Realms'. It's an impressive lineup of trailers for what looks like an impressive Fall season of movies. And at one point, AJ's forced to leave the room.

What's up with that old man in the 'Suspiria' trailer? Do we support Chris Pine playing a 14th century Scottish leader in 'Outlaw King'? And will 'Slice', the horror/comedy movie featuring Chance the Rapper, be as bad as its trailer?
