The death of actress Anne Heche has sparked honest questions and amateur conspiracy theories all over the internet. From video footage and audio of her car crash, and the purchasing of a red wig just minutes before, to footage of Anne sitting up from a body bag at the scene of the wreck, there are more questions than answers. Some questions, however, proliferate on censored platforms that otherwise would ban or block such content. Why? Perhaps the algorithms are allowing certain ideas to circulate to prevent more serious questions from being asked. Some reduce her death to a past relationship she shared with Ellen DeGeneres. Others say she was killed for her role in the conspiracy-themed movie Toxic Skies from 2008. But that was 14 years ago! Her new movie 'The Girl in Room 13' will still air on Lifetime in September about a mother searching for her daughter who had become victim of human trafficking. Due to this theme and her past relationship with Ellen, many suggest she was killed for knowing too much about this sensitive issue. Neither the official story nor the amateur conspiracies make much sense, but they do make for a great late-night radio discussion. -FREE ARCHIVE (w. ads)SUBSCRIPTION ARCHIVEX / TWITTER FACEBOOKWEBSITEPAYPALCashApp: $rdgable EMAIL: rdgable@yahoo.com / TSTRadio@protonmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/tst-radio--5328407/support.

It's 1989 and for a young Jewish-Australian violinist, a scholarship to Berlin is the chance of a lifetime. Germany is on the verge of change as the wall is torn down, and Susanna is swept along by the tumultuous event. Under the careful guidance of Stefan Heinemeyer, her renowned violin teacher and the grandson of a Nazi, she begins a composition in memory of her grandmother, Mirla, who died in the Buchenwald concentration camp during the Second World War, and Susanna is inspired to retrace Mirla's final footsteps. It's a journey that reconnects Susanna to her heritage and propels her musical gift to extraordinary heights. Yet as a forbidden yearning for Stefan begins to unfurl, Susanna's life is forever changed, and the repercussions will echo through decades and across continents. In a world where history, society and inherited traumas threaten to silence Susanna and prevent her from ever becoming her true self, can she find the courage to reclaim her power as a woman, a musician, and a composer, and in so doing, lay her haunted past to rest? In this episode Gregory Dobbs chats to Shelley Davidow about her own experience of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the consequences of love and history across time and generations, and the Berlin of today, decades after that dramatic moment in 1989.

Who am I to write about these people? I'm just some housewife with five unpublished novels in my attic. And two writer friends from very different parts of my writing life responded to that comment in almost exactly the same way. They were like, ‘but Kerri, this is your novel, isn't it? I was and that was very liberating to me.” - Kerri Maher “I've really had to embrace representing real people and real time periods. Yes,I want to absolutely do right by them. I want to kind of represent the truth of their essence.. Becoming friends with women who entertain misogyny, whether ambivalence around motherhood is a sign it's not for you & when a friend of 20 years asks you to borrow money - should you lend it to them? This week, in the Dear Clementine inbox:  I have made some very lovely new girlfriends however, they are friends with a group of men who are absolute misogynists. Should I speak to my friends about this or just get rid of them all together?  I'm in a serious relationship with a partner I love. However, we are at something of an impasse when it comes to deciding whether to have kids or not. I just don't know, all I know is that I'm ambivalent. It seems that so many people around me simply can't accept that a child-free life can be fulfilling. Is there any right way to work through this ambivalence? Do you have any advice? I have a best friend of about 20 years. Today for the first time in our friendship she asked me to lend her $350. One of my boundaries is that I don't lend friends money. When I told my friend she got very upset with me. I feel like the simple act of me saying no has damaged the friendship. What can I do to feel better and hopefully turn this into a learning experience? Nemoralia, or the Festival of Torches, was a Roman festival honoring the goddess Diana, Protector of Maidens - children, young women, women, and pregnant women. According to Plutarch, those assembled with torches and candlelight would perform a ritual of "washing their hair before dressing it with flowers." Tiny sculptures of mothers and children were offered in honor of Diana, as were some forms of sacrifice. The celebration was held originally on August 13th before being moved to the 15th, making it what we now know as a three day festival. Her new movie 'The Girl in Room 13' brought attention to human trafficking, following a mother searching for her daughter. Thirteen is the number of regeneration and rebirth, both of which are elements of Diana. Fire is also cleansing, purifying, and necessary for rebirth, or to be reborn by fire. Some may find it suspicious that the death of Anne Heche seems to align with these ancient rituals. Although the wreck occurred on August 5th, Anne was kept in the hospital being declared brain-dead and put on a life support system so her organs could be harvested. On August 14, her life support was shut off and she officially died a second time. Just moments before driving into an apartment complex, nearly hitting a pedestrian, and then crashing her car into a home which exploded in flames, Anne purchased a red wig at a local shop in Venice. Red is a color of Diana, associated with the red rose, the moon and menstruation and childbirth. The fire caused by her wreck aligns with the troches, her red wig represents a color of Diana and the hair cleansing rituals of Nemoralia, and her new movie relates numerically to the original holy day date and its theme of mother and daughter relating to Diana, the patron goddess of Maidens and children. Perhaps Anne was kept alive and killed on Nemoralia, mirroring the infamous death/murder ritual of Princess Diana in 1997 on August 31st, the inverse of 13, when her Mercedes hit the 13th pillar a tunnel (womb) associated with her likeness. Michael Hastings was also driving a Mercedes in 2013 when his car hit a tree and he died while investigating the NSA, CIA, and Obama administration.
Indiana Congresswoman Jackie Walorski was killed with two staffers in a high-profile car crash on August 3, followed the next day by six people dying when a nurse named Nicole Linton crashed her Mercedes-Benz near Windsor Hills. Princess Diana was killed in a Mercedes, as was Michael Hastings, likely by the Windsor family.

In this episode of The Bingeworthy—our podcast dedicated to all things television, streaming, what we watch in those mediums and how we watch it—Elle Fanning dropped by to talk about not only Hulu's “The Great,” recently finishing its second season and about to shoot its third, but her excellent and absorbing Hulu mini-series, “The Girl From Plainville.” Both series have garnered great acclaim and received terrific accolades for Fanning's performances, but for very different reasons. Fanning talked about working with "The Great" showrunner/writer Tony McNamara (who wrote Yorgos Lanthimos' "The Favourite"), working with 'Great' partner Nicholas Hoult--who she said was instrumental in helping her get the rhythms down to this hyper-specific ratatat comedy and finding her voice as a producer on the series. For "The Girl From Plainville," a radically different series about a true-life case of "texting suicide," Fanning discussed her ethical obligations to playing real-life people who are still alive and have families that are still grieving. While the show has fantasy segments and blurs reality and fantasy, she was sure--again as a producer too--the show couldn't be exploitative. It's a great conversation with Elle Fanning who is such an amazingly versatile actor. Inspired by the true story of Michelle Carter's unprecedented "texting-suicide" case, The Girl from Plainville starring Elle Fanning is a Hulu miniseries that explores Carter's relationship with Conrad Roy III and the events that led to his death. Show creator Liz Hannah (The Post, Mindhunter) talks about tackling the true crime case: "I think the reaction from the media, the reaction from the general public towards Michelle and towards the case was very vitriolic, very much making her the villain... I'm very interested in the gray area of people and morality and ethics... as you start to peel away the layers, you realize just how little was talked about of what actually happened in this case, and what actually happened between these two people and the sort of mutual toxicity between the two of them." Liz goes on to talk about how to handle the pressures of writing: "I think I would say just don't take things too seriously, and that doesn't mean that you shouldn't take it seriously.... I take my job very seriously. I feel incredibly fortunate and incredibly lucky to have this job and to be able to tell the stories that I've gotten to tell, and hopefully will continue to tell. I think earlier in my career, everything felt like the beginning or end of the world, and that's just not a good way to be creative at all."
