I got to sit down with 2 Chicago based comic artists, JB Roe and John Bailey, during my trip to Chicago Zine Fest with Cameron and Dylan back in May.

For this week's episode I got to sit down with Sarah Gust and Sara Volpi creators of an artisan collective called BG Makers. We talk about Bowling Green and how they ended up here, how they became friends, art, BG Makers and of course the balance of all that with relationships! Christian tells me some funny stories from when he used to work at a Waffle House here in Bowling Green, we talk about how he got into video work, picking up and moving to Los Angeles with practically no money and how he balances his work and his own projects with being in a relationship and a father! get to know Christian like i did with this episode! enjoy!

HARDCORE! ART! WRESTLING! COMICS! GROWING UP MORMON! THAT 9 TO 5 CORPORATE GRIND! This was the first time Dylan and I ever talked to one another and luckily enough we clicked really well! We had a lot in common with the music scenes we grew up in and what we're into musically these days too. We talked a lot about Dylan growing up in the Mormon church and his time spent in Los Angeles for his mission. We discuss his corporate copyrighting gig that pays the bills and his double life as a killer illustrator and graphic designer who is really well known in the worlds of indie comics, zines, wrestling and hardcore music. And as always Dylan gave me in the inside look at how he goes about balancing his work, his art and his personal relationships which as we all know is the key to succeeding in any creative field. Also as an added bonus we had our good friend and friend of the podcast Cameron del Rosario sitting in the room with us and he chimed in at points to add some laughs that we all need. The 3 of us were really just shooting the shit towards the end but it was a lot of fun. Dylan and his art rules and so does this episode. I hope you dig it. Enjoy!

Carr. we talk about his day job as a personal trainer at Western Kentucky University and his job with the WKU athletic marketing department! You'll hear some about my weird/unhealthy workout habits I used to have. We talk about his family and how they influenced his taste in music and how they've always been there to support his passion for music. Outside of work he is a up and coming R&B/Hip Hop artist. we cover everything from his early beginnings of rapping in the attic of his childhood home to playing collegiate basketball to when he stopped playing ball to pursue music more seriously. and like every episode we discuss how he goes about balancing his life working for WKU and going to grad school with his music career and his personal relationships. Mic. Carr is one of the most inspiring people I've met doing the podcast and I hope you come out of it feeling just as lifted as I did when it was over. Let's dig into, my dudes!
