David had reached out to the show to tell of a disturbing incident from his high school years in Trinidad, Colorado. He shares that he and a group of friends had dared to enter the abandoned Catholic school, unwittingly unleashing an unknown malevolent force that would soon plague them and those connected to them. The situation grew so dire that it ultimately required the intervention of a specialist recommended by the Catholic Church. This expert was brought in to reinstate the boundaries and restore a sense of control over the malevolent entity that had been unleashed. Today we talk about this situation and the aftermath of an exploration gone awry, where the line between reality and the supernatural blurs in "Disturbing The Upside Down." In Episode 464: The Bigfoot, The Witch, and The Dogman we are joined by Erick Szilagyi from the uNcomfortable podcast. Erick was connected to me by Joel from VanTesla, who has been a guest on Erick's show several times. Erick comes to the table with many experiences to share, but it was his experience with a witch that kicks off the show. Erick was just beginning his podcast and got connected to a witch who was willing join his show for a conversation. Erick decided to meet up with her in person to record, and that meeting turned into dinner plus more. What then ensues Erick describes as one of the most bizarre nights of his life. In Episode 512: we are joined by James, who moved to Hollywood recently to help his career in the film industry after previously working out of Atlanta. One night, James and his friend went out to a bar where they met a guy who wanted to take them to another place to drink. Once they arrived at the new location, James' friend was so weirded out by the people he saw that he bailed and left James alone with his new acquaintance, who talked James into going to yet another party out in the desert, in a place called Joshua Tree, outside of Los Angeles. James wound up spending over 24 hours at that location, and he witnessed so many out-of-this-world things. There were vampires, cloaked figures around pentagrams, flying people, and portals opening up - and it all seemed to be focused around the guest of honor, James himself. As the danger rose, James found himself running for his life through the desert to escape these people who seemed to be grooming him as a sacrifice that night. This is one of the wildest stories we have ever had on The Confessionals, and James tells a riveting story, which could be chalked up to a tall tale by many - but James comes with the receipts that point to this event being very real.
