Today we have the brilliant Dr. William Harris on the show to discuss some findings from a pilot study published in the journal Prostaglandins, Leukotrienes, and Essential Fatty Acids, that shows evidence that having a higher omega-3 index may decrease your chances of dying from COVID-19. He also touches on other topics such as cytokine storms, the effects of omega-3s on mortality, the different standards in omega-3 supplementation, and healthy aging. Dr. Harris is an internationally recognized expert on omega-3 fatty acids and how they can benefit patients with heart disease.
