CATABASE FIRST PART: AD LOVE. 97min., France Directed by Nicolas Pereira Two lovers fall into madness. https://www.instagram.com/nicolaspereiratheater/ What motivated you to make this film? Honestly, I can't say exactly why. By 2021, it had been four years since I had last directed a fiction film. In the meantime, I had worked as a screenwriter, script doctor, producer, cinematographer, and even as a content creator for Fashion Week. Yet, despite these experiences, all my personal projects had ended in failure. 2020 and 2021 had been particularly difficult years, both professionally and personally. Everything I tried to build seemed to collapse before it could even take shape. I had reached a point where waiting no longer made sense. If I wanted to make a film, I had to do it now, with whatever means I had. It all started in November 2021, almost by accident. After a night of working in a nightclub, I was driving home when I got stuck in traffic. On a whim, I took out my iPhone and filmed a few shots inside my car, by pure instinct. Once home, I edited the footage to a piece of music by Wojciech Kilar and color-graded it in the style of a film noir. It wasn't a calculated decision, but a spontaneous urge—as if I were finally allowing myself to do something I had always been told to avoid by client or the global industry. And then, without fully realizing it at the time, something happened. These images were already telling a story I had yet to write. Bit by bit, the film took shape in my mind: the story of a couple who love each other deeply but, despite everything, should not be together. As they struggle, they wear themselves out, burn out, and inevitably age—metaphorically. Driven by this intuition, I kept filming, alone: a hand hovering over a lit stovetop, a snow globe in the shadows, a flickering lightbulb, an empty room where I smoke a cigarette. Then, I edited a teaser and sent it to Olivia Rose, a fellow acting student whose talent had always left me in awe. I asked her if she wanted to turn this into a film—a short, maybe a medium-length, perhaps even a feature. Less than five minutes later, she agreed to join me. From that moment on, there was no turning back. Tired of waiting for a project to finally materialize, I decided to do everything myself: film alone with my iPhone, with no budget, no crew, and most importantly, no creative restrictions. Filming began in January 2022 and spanned eight months—forty days of shooting filled with doubt, setbacks, and improvisation. But above all, without intending it, this film became a catharsis. A raw, unfiltered reflection of my state of mind at that time. It wasn't planned, yet perhaps that's what makes it beautiful. Because it was born out of a deep, personal, and artistic necessity—out of urgency. Welcome to the Personal Development Trailblazers Podcast! In this episode, we'll dive into simple, actionable tips to help you reduce overwhelm, clear your mind, and find calm in the midst of the chaos. Olivia Rose, MA is a certified Integral Coach and the founder of the RblX Coaching Method, where she helps people not only define but live their version of success. Drawing from her background in Educational Psychology, Olivia has spent her career working with people of all ages to overcome adversity and live their best life. Though she appeared successful on the outside, Olivia spent over two decades navigating mental health challenges that never quite felt fully resolved. Diagnosed at various times with depression, generalized anxiety, and bipolar disorder, she found that while these labels provided a framework to begin living a healthier life, they didn't explain everything. It wasn't until she noticed a profound connection with her ADHD clients that she uncovered a deeper truth. Olivia realized she wasn't just understanding them on a professional level—she was seeing herself reflected back. That discovery of her own neurodivergence was a pivotal moment. It reshaped the way Olivia understood her own journey. It helped to explain how she moves through the world, and what strategies, habits, and practices could help her life more fully and successfully. And now she uses this very same method for others to do the same. Through the RblX method, clients find new empowerment to embrace who they truly are, honor their uniqueness, and create a life of aligned and authentic success. Olivia Rose is the Founder of Rose CISO Group, which offers virtual chief information security officer services, including assessments, boardroom and leadership communications, and event presentations. She has over 22 years of experience in the industry and has served as the CISO for Amplitude, Mailchimp, and QloudSecure. Before founding Rose CISO Group, Olivia sat on the board of directors at Cyversity, a nonprofit dedicated to increasing diversity in cybersecurity. Olivia has also shared her knowledge and expertise as a faculty member and advisor at IANS, a leading security insights and support provider. In this episode… A chief information security officer is vital to protecting an organization from cyber threats. However, the role has become a watered-down casual term — many people wear the title, but need more training and qualifications. Veteran security professional Olivia Rose asserts that in-house CISOs are expensive resources. Instead, organizations can benefit from outsourcing virtual CISOs, as they are cost-effective, offer an objective viewpoint, and provide higher expertise. In addition to experience and certifications, Olivia maintains that security experts can stay current on trends and jargon by using online educational platforms like Coursera and YouTube. Olivia also recommends taking an introduction to marketing, as it helps them effectively convey messages. In this episode of the She Said Privacy/He Said Security, Jodi and Justin Daniels interview Olivia Rose, Founder of Rose CISO Group, about the role of a virtual chief information security officer. Olivia discusses burnout in the security profession, the qualifications and responsibilities of a vCISO, and who benefits from CISO services.

I'm here today with Olivia Rose. There you go. Olivia Rose. That's how we know her publicly. It's a great honor to have you on this podcast, and she was definitely one of my inspirations, mainly because we connected a long time ago and had been following her journey from a distance.[00:01:15]Like, okay, so I was a bodybuilder, a natural bodybuilder, back when this happened. And I've always been an athlete that's been born. So I've been playing volleyball, t ball, basketball, tennis, soccer, track, everything, and flat football even. And so I was at a competition in Pittsburgh, and I started feeling nauseous backstage, and I suddenly started falling to the floor, and I was having a stroke at that time, and I didn't know. [00:04:25] That was the second stroke. [00:04:26] Yeah. So then they did a thrown back to me the procedure where they go in your brain and take out the clot. And my right side was affected at that time. So right now, my right hand still shakes. My right side, my right hand still shakes. So my legs were wobbly sometimes, and I had speech problems. But the speech right now is so great compared to before. I can't even tell you. It was so bad.[00:09:10] They have a heart for me. I said yes. So we got to run back home, either grocery store, run back home, get on my start and drive straight to the hospital. [00:11:22] Yeah, I was so shocked. I was like, what? Have a heart-to-heart me. It feels surreal. It does feel surreal. I was also so grateful the whole time. [00:16:44] I did the same. Was it what, five years? What did you see? [00:25:38] I'm independent. I like being independent, doing things by myself, doing things for myself, and not having anybody come and tell me what to do. So my mom and I bump into pets a lot. I like to do my own thing, and she wants to come and bring me back to reality. [00:32:11] Because you are very active, the LVAD allows you to get some of the activity. How important was it? What did it mean to you to be able to do hiking still, and were you social? Were you able to go hiking with other people? [00:38:35] I was. I was walking around with this bag, LVAD, and a bag in my backpack. I didn't feel pretty. I lost everything. I was walking around looking like a boy. [00:48:52] I was a personal trainer before I started doing bodybuilding competitions. So yeah, I was training before.

On the journey of life, Olivia Rose is recording a soundtrack – putting her emotional truth into heartfelt, relatable songs that mirror our feelings, formative experiences, and fondest memories. Growing up in her hometown of Elk Point, Alberta, Olivia Rose was surrounded by the sounds of country legends like Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton, along with influences of current superstars Miranda Lambert and Taylor Swift. Songwriting and performing since 8 years old gave Olivia Rose the confidence to use defining moments to fuel her career. Performing on the intermission stage for George Strait led to opening for some of Canada's best: Dan Davidson, Brett Kissel, and Aaron Pritchett. Participation as a Finalist in the intensive Project WILD competition in 2018 followed, and attendance at artist development program, Canada's Music Incubator in Toronto. Olivia Rose has recently been honoured with a nomination for Rising Star at the 2020 Country Music Alberta Awards. She has also received recognition from her adopted home city Edmonton, including winning the Edmonton Music Awards' Rising Star Award for two consecutive years, the Edmonton Mayor's Youth Award, and a nomination for Country Recording of the Year in the 2019 EMAs. Olivia Rose's latest single, “Gold” marked her second collaboration with Juno and CCMA Award-winning producer Bart McKay. This “Head first, falling for someone you know is the real thing, no-strings-attached love song,” is now in regular rotation on CBC Country/Sirius XM as well as secondary radio stations across Canada. Taking time during the pandemic to hone her songwriting abilities and co-write with many talented writers, Olivia Rose has been hard at work writing for her upcoming project, a full length album set to start recording in late 2021. This steadfast country artist has found a means of connection with her fans through her charming nature, unabashed honesty, and will continue to show the world what she has to offer with her music. Sleep is an important pillar of health that we're all aware of, but most of us aren't getting good quantity, quality, or both. As it relates to toxins, sleep is when our bodies do much of the detoxification we rely on to stay healthy. It's also when our brains process what happened during the day and stores memories. And I know we've all experienced the after-effects of not being well-rested - short tempers and low energy, for example. So I wanted to dig into the science of sleep. Because the more knowledge we have about our bodies, the more informed decisions we can make about how we go about our days (and nights). For this conversation, I'm chatting with naturopathic Doctor Olivia Rose. She is a writer and speaker with 14 years of experience under her belt. She has built a thriving private practice centered around evidence-based and traditional naturopathic medicine and has a special interest in digestive and immune health; infertility; weight management; skin rejuvenation and chronic disease prevention. Her work has led her to be consistently featured in television segments, podcasts and publications reaching thousands of people with her natural health expertise and wellness advice. In this episode we cover:- Why sleep is so important- What happens in our bodies when we sleep- Quantity vs Quality and how to improve both- Sleep cycles, and what common triggers disrupt different stages of sleep- Advice for new parents who can't get a full night's sleep- Lifestyle shifts and supplements that can help improve sleepWhere to find more from Dr. Rose:Instagram: @oliviarosendRose Health Clinic: http://www.rosehealthclinic.com/ReLiv Organics Inc: http://www.relivorganics.com/*****Green Product Forum: https://facebook.com/groups/greenproductforumInstagram: https://instagram.com/emma_greenathomeWebsite: https://greenathome.ca

Olivia Rose Blair is an independent singer & songwriter. She has recently released this song on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and much more and one day she hopes to travel the world as a performer. She is based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Find more of Olivia: Instagram: @oliviablair.xx Twitter: @olivia_blair_xx YouTube: Olivia Rose Blair A Statement from Olivia: "I originally wrote the guitar part a year ago whilst tuning my guitar. It's extremely simple so I wanted to keep the vocals and lyrics simple with it. The repetition from the guitar and the chorus is a reflection of the repetitions of the relationship depicted in the lyrics. I kept the lyrics without any specifics so that anyone listening to the song could use the song to reflect on any of the relationships they've had, friendships, boyfriends, family. It can apply to them all. I've been singing since before I can remember and performing since I could walk. I was professionally trained in singing, acting and dancing when I attended a HND course in Musical Theatre at PASS Edinburgh college. However my passion for singing and songwriting took over once lockdown began." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Created during a time of quarantine in the global Coronavirus pandemic, A Moment Of Your Time's mission is to provide a space for expression, collaboration, community and solidarity. At CyberArk, we believe that sharing insights and guidance across the CISO community will help strengthen security strategies and lead to better-protected organizations. CyberArk is committed to the continued exploration of topics that matter most to CISOs related to improving and integrating privileged access controls. On this week's episode How to become a CISO What is some actionable "let's start today" advice. What could an individual do right now to develop the skills to be a cyber leader and make it clear to management, that's what they're gunning for? What we’ve got here is failure to communicate If all vendors stopped sending cold emails, which is what we constantly hear CISOs say they should do, how should they spend their time and money instead to greatly improve their success? If a CISO played the role of a vendor, which happens often, what should you do, to get to you? What's Worse?! We play TWO rounds. What do you think of this vendor marketing tactic? According to a recent study by Valimail, CISOs are very suspect of security vendors' claims. In general, the numbers are horrible for vendor credibility. Close to half of security professionals claim the following: Vendors' tech and explanation are confusing Practitioners have a hard time seeing and measuring value Practitioners don't know how a vendor's product will stay valid on their security roadmap. What could cybersecurity vendors do to make their claims more believable? Close your eyes and visualize the perfect engagement Rafal Los, Armor Cloud Security asked, "If you could implement one thing in your organization that would receive universal adoption without push-back, what would it be?" The question, which seems reasonable, but in the security world often feels impossible, generated a ton of responses on both LinkedIn and Twitter. Many wanted company-wide adoption of one solution, such as MFA or vulnerability management. Others wanted widespread and ongoing security education. Our CISOs debate the one pushback-free solution that would yield the greatest results.

What specific security problem does it solve? How will it affect the typical strategic/business drivers for a company? It's time for "Ask a CISO" Fernando Montenegro, analyst for 451 Research, asked, "How can the CISO be a change agent for the security team so it can better align with the business?" What's Worse?! For this week's game I picked a question very apropos for our guest's current situation. Um… maybe you shouldn't have done that Unconscious bias towards women in professional settings is not always overt nor intentional, but it happens. We discuss some examples of unconscious bias for both women and men. And we discuss how too much of it can really push women out of the security industry. Naturopathic medicine is a health care system that blends modern scientific knowledge and evidence with traditional and natural forms of medicine. As NDs, we assess the whole person by providing physical examinations, nutrition, lifestyle and mental health assessments and we refer for blood work at our local labs when necessary. I have a general practice, however, I do tend to focus on women and men's health, gastrointestinal health, immune, skin and children's health. Lifestyle, nutrition, herbs and acupuncture are the modalities I use the most. 2. What is the most common sex-related problem patients present with? (We're assuming low libido is up there.) What are some lifestyle causes of low libido? Low libido is common, especially in women. At least women tend to talk about it more, vaginal dryness, pain during sex and erectile dysfunction in males come up frequently. Lifestyle causes of low libido include poor diet (e.g. not enough or an excess – too much alcohol, caffeine, sugar, fat, processed foods, and also eating too little – not eating frequently enough, not having enough of the key micronutrients such as iron and B12 and macronutrients (missing healthy fat, protein etc.) which are important for blood circulation and hormone health; metabolic syndrome is a condition characterized by high blood pressure, central obesity, elevated blood sugar and abnormal cholesterol and triglyceride levels that increase your risk for stroke, heart disease and diabetes, inactivity – being active maintains good circulation to your pelvic floor and genitalia. Regular physical activity also helps to balance your hormones and maintain healthy testosterone levels. Stress – relationship, workplace, environmental – can play a role. 3. How does diet affect libido? Your diet can play a huge role in sexual desire. Going back to the not enough or too much diets – both can affect libido. Your libido relies on circulation and if your diet isn't conducive to promoting healthy circulation, your libido will be affected. 4. How does diet effect mood and relationships more generally? Diet and digestion are closely tied to mood. Certain foods and additives in our food supply can have a negative effect on your mood such as MSG – some people are sensitive to MSG and report feeling sluggish, depressed or angry after consuming it. However, the first thing I do before even changing anyone's diet is to make sure they are eating regularly. Eating at regular intervals can make a huge difference in regulating your mood. It also helps to balance your blood sugar and insulin. I emphasize a diet that contains enough protein with each meal because protein gets broken into the amino acids we require to make our hormones. 5. Can herbs/supplements be used to address libido? Can herbs/supplements be used to improve mood (and relational interactions)? There are many herbs that have traditionally been used for sexual enhancement and mood stabilization for centuries. Fenugreek is a popular culinary spice in South Asian dishes and in Ayurvedic medicine. It's backed by promising research that it can increase sexual arousal and orgasms. It's thought to contain plant chemicals that serve as precursors to estrogen and test...

Musician, filmmaker and DJ, Don Letts has curated a season of films about punk for the British Film Institute, in London. He explains how Punk on Film brings together a broad range of documentary, archive footage and feature films that draw attention to the diversity of the punk movement, its lineage, and influence today.A significant aspect of punk was that allowed women to defy the music industry's notions of beauty and sex appeal. Women became performers in their own right, wrote their own songs, played their own instruments, and even became the main protagonist of movies about the music industry - such as Hazel O'Connor in Breaking Glass. We hear about the role of women in punk from Hazel O'Connor, vocalist and guitarist Jess Allanic, and Dr Helen Reddington.Photographers George Quann-Barnett and Marco Grey - from Wot Do You Call It - and Olivia Rose discuss the importance of documenting the grime scene, which they argue is the most unique and significant music subculture to explode in Britain since punk. Plus Scottee, an artist who describes himself as "fat and working class, with a penchant for ladies clothes", argues that queer drag and performers like Bourgeois & Maurice and Jonny Woo - with their kitten heels, bondage outfits and 'attitude' - are the punks of today.Presenter: Samira Ahmed Producer: Angie Nehring.
