Gleichgesinnte traf man eher selten.Heutzutage schaut jeder zweite Netflix-Abonnent mindestens einen Anime – sie haben den Mainstream erreicht und liegen weltweit im Trend! Das liegt vor allem an drei Faktoren: erstens an dem breiten Angebot von Streamingdiensten wie Netflix oder Disney+; zweitens an den Lockdowns während der Corona-Pandemie, die zu einem Anstieg im Serienkonsum führten; und drittens an der zunehmenden Präsenz in sozialen Medien wie TikTok und Instagram. Die Bedingungen für diesen Boom waren praktisch perfekt!Diese Erfolgsstory mag beeindrucken. Doch die allergrößte Erfolgsgeschichte ist für mich die einer Bewegung, die vor etwa 2000 Jahren begann: das Christentum. Die Voraussetzungen für dessen Ausbreitung waren weitaus schlechter: Es begann mit nur ca. 120 Menschen. Die frühen Christen wurden nicht nur etwas schräg angesehen, sondern sozial ausgegrenzt, verfolgt, inhaftiert und oft sogar gefoltert oder getötet. Warum hat sich das Christentum allen Widerständen zum Trotz dennoch ausgebreitet? Zum einen wussten die ersten Christen ganz genau, dass ihr Glaube an den auferstandenen Jesus keine Fiktion war, sondern den Tatsachen entsprach. Sie hatten ihn mit eigenen Augen gesehen. Deswegen waren sie bereit, für diese Überzeugung sogar zu sterben. Zum anderen stand und steht Gott selbst dahinter. Filmtrends, Medienhypes und alle menschlichen Bewegungen werden vergehen. Doch was seinen Ursprung in Gott selbst hat, kann man auf Dauer nicht unterdrücken. Yesterday they wheeled out three excuses for not fronting up and answering questions about why they went so hard on lockdowns and mandates which they then papered over with $66-billion in spending - second in the world only to the US - thereby helping fuel the inflation we're all now paying the price for taming. 1. First we heard they wouldn't attend the public hearing and give public evidence because they were worried about how the public might react - that some might use their videos to spread misinformation. The Inquiry itself basically said this was nonsense because the public interest in them appearing outweighed the risk of some nutter altering their testimony video and sharing it on Facebook. 2. Then Hipkins fronted for a stand-up with another reason - I already answer these questions on a daily basis. Which, again, makes no sense. If you were worried about videos being doctored of misinformation being spread, would it not apply as much to those comments in the media - which are - of course videoed and published - as you would be about video livestreamed from a public inquiry? 3. Then there's the excuses provided to inquiry itself. They were worried about blowback from the public online - that it might turn into some sort of which hunt. This is, perhaps, the most egregious and insulting one. During the Covid years, they were more than happy to troll members of the public from the podium of truth. They were more than happy to engage in a little witch-hunting of their own. Be it Charlotte Bellis. The border crossers. The river of filth. They used the media to hammer their opponents as conspiracy theorists, anointed many public enemy number ones while they were in control of the narrative. And that's really what this is about. Controlling the narrative. The wall-to-wall coverage and 1pm podium sermons cynically helped secure them an historic majority in 2020. As the old saying goes, you can fool some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time. These guys know they've been found out - most recently by that embarrassing Treasury report. And now that they can't control the narrative, it looks like they're running for the hills. Michael Ballwegs Freispruch als Schlag ins Gesicht der MächtigenEin Kommentar von Janine Beicht.Stellen Sie sich vor: Ein Mann, der Hunderttausende mobilisierte, um gegen Grundrechtseinschränkungen und staatliche Übergriffe in der Coronazeit zu protestieren, wird neun Monate in eine Zelle gesperrt, sein Leben zerpflückt und sein Ruf zerfetzt.Und am Ende? Ein Freispruch, der wie ein Donnerschlag durch die Hallen der Justiz hallt, begleitet von einer lächerlichen Verwarnung über 19,53 Euro für ein Parfüm und eine Hundematte. Michael Ballweg, der unerschütterliche Gründer von Querdenken-711, hat triumphiert. Doch dieser Sieg ist getränkt von Tränen der Wut und des Schmerzes, ein Mahnmal gegen einen Staat, der Kritiker als Feinde brandmarkt. Am 31. Juli 2025 fiel das Urteil am Landgericht Stuttgart: Kein Betrug, keine zweckentfremdeten Spenden in Höhe von 575.000 Euro, keine Steuerhinterziehung in sechsstelligem Umfang. Nur eine Verwarnung, die wie Hohn wirkt, und die Zusage einer Entschädigung für 279 Tage unschuldiger Haft. Ballwegs Worte nach dem Urteil:„Meine Unschuld wurde bestätigt“

Von Anfang an roch es nach Verschwörung. Ballweg, der 2020 und 2021 mit Querdenken-711 Hunderttausende Menschen mobilisierte, friedliche Demonstranten, die gegen Lockdowns, Zwangsimpfungen und Grundrechtsverletzungen aufbegehrten, wurde zum Ziel.Bereits im August 2020, lange bevor Steuererklärungen fällig waren, geriet er ins Visier der Steuerfahndung[2]. Ausgelöst durch mediale Hetze, etwa in Jan Böhmermanns Sendung, und Denunziationen, die bis ins grün dominierte Finanzministerium Baden-Württembergs reichten. Staatssekretärin Gisela Splett [3] leitete Bürgerbeschwerden weiter, priorisierte sie als „eilt sehr“. Interne E-Mails: „Dubiose Querdenken-Spenden“. Das Ministerium steuerte sogar Presseantworten, um die Narrative zu kontrollieren. Ein Finanzbeamter gab im Prozess zu:„Ein besonderer politischer Fall.“
[4]Der Staatsschutz mischte mit, obwohl keine Straftat vorlag.[5] Ballwegs Festnahme im Juni 2022, die neunmonatige Haft, begründet mit„Fluchtgefahr“[6], obwohl er nur eine Reise nach Costa Rica plante. Alternativen wie Passentzug wurden einfach ignoriert. Das Oberlandesgericht zwang das Verfahren durch, obwohl das Landgericht Beweise vermisste. Hier zeigt sich der Kern: Politische Eliten, von Grünen-Ministerien bis zur Staatsanwaltschaft mit Parteimitglied Christian Schnabel [7], nutzten das System, um Opposition zu brechen. Ballweg sah Parallelen zur Corona-Krise: „Behörden verselbständigen sich, niemand ist verantwortlich.“ Ein System, das Kritiker als „Delegitimierer des Staates“ diffamiert, um Herrschaft zu sichern – eine Schande für jeden, der an eine echte Demokratie glaubt.
