WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THE OLD SCHOOL CHOPPER BUILDERS? The good ole days us old timers call it. A time where a motorcycle was bare bones. The early 2000s saw a half attempt at bringing back the chopper. But it was an utter failure to me. Roland Sands is a motorcycle racer and designer of custom high-performance motorcycles. Roland also spent years at the track, between 1994 and 2002 he secured numerous victories, multiple lap records and even secured the 1998 AMA 250GP Championship. After the tremendous success Sands found on Discovery Channel's Biker Build-Off, Sands founded Roland Sands Design.Roland Sands Design (RSD) not only produces motorcycle parts, accessories and creates custom motorcycles it also offers an extensive apparel line. Brian Klock is the Founder and President of Klock Werks Kustom Cycles. As a child, suffering from severe asthma, little did he know that this “pain” would help shape him into the creative genius he is today. In this episode, Brian talks about the heroes who believed in him; and how their positivity fueled his efforts to invent a motorcycle part that has revolutionized the V-Twin industry. In recent years, Jack Daniels, Indian Motorcycles and Klock Werks have teamed together to build limited edition bikes for various causes. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/palmharvest/message
