Loris Baz was a MotoAmerica Superbike winner in 2024 with the Frenchman riding his Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati Panigale V4 R to victory in the final race of the season at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Fast forward a few months and Baz is preparing to do something completely different in 2025. Beginning at Daytona in a few weeks time, Baz will be competing in the Mission King Of The Baggers as a member of the three-rider Indian Motorcycle "Wrecking Crew." Gölä kennt jeder. Den einen gehen er und seine Songs direkt ins Herz, den anderen auf die Nerven. Gölä polarisiert. Doch wer ist Marco Pfeuti, der Mann mit der rauen Stimme? Im Gespräch mit Donat Hofer zeigt er sich persönlich und spricht über seine Vorstellung von Freiheit. Göläs musikalischer Erfolg kam aus dem Nichts und katapultierte ihn in zwei widersprüchliche Lebenswelten: Als Musiker füllt er ganze Stadien, als Privatmensch scheut er die Öffentlichkeit und sitzt am liebsten auf seinem Bagger. Bereits Marco Pfeutis Schulzeit und Jugend waren konfliktgeladen. Er fühlte sich gefangen und unverstanden. Der Emmentaler schmiss die Schule und seine Lehre, stets getrieben vom Wunsch nach Freiheit. Das führte zu heftigem Streit mit seinen Eltern, prägte aber auch seine Musik. «Viu blöder ta» wäre bei Gölä nicht drin gelegen, auch in puncto Drogen – sagt er heute als 56-jähriger Vater und Unternehmer. Australian Troy Herfoss will arrive at New Jersey Motorsports Park next week two points behind Kyle Wyman in their battle for the 2024 Mission King Of The Baggers Championship. Two points basically equals winner-take-all. For the umpteenth time this season, Herfoss will have to learn a new track in the first practice session, get up to speed, and ready himself and his S&S/Indian Motorcycle's Challenger for two races that will determine the outcome of the championship.
