During the "platty joobs" weekend the family, my brother and best mate went to the King Of The Beats all day-er at the Fox & Firkin. It was essentially a large pub garden with a bit of a rave corner. We took our 9 month old, as you know, she needs to get into breakbeat early and it was a lot of fun. This mix is very much inspired by the breakbeat classics played that day. Monster Breakbeat show tonight with The Freestylers, Rennie Pilgrem, Atomic Hooligan, Janette Slack, Jay Cunning and MC Chickaboo! BIG!

This was the first ever mix Terry (Atomic Hooligan) and I did together and was recorded live on my then weekly radio show on GrooveTech radio (I think was one of the first internet radio stations?) This mix was recorded back in July 2002 and really kick started our DJ partnership.  Starting off as just 3 decks and 2 mixers, it grew to a 7 decks and FX show with MC Xander & MC Ziggy. We toured all over the place with one of our highlights being performing to 18'000 people in St Petersburg.  We also burned about 300+ copies of the mix which was given away with Jimmy's MOFO magazine, an amazing fanzine for the Breakbeat scene.  It also aired on Eddy Temple Morris's 'The Rinse' show on XFM, Kink FM in The Netherlands and on the FNX Radio Network, USA.  TRACK LIST: http://wearehardcore.uk/

Один из тех, кого называют "лицом" Питерской брэйк-бит сцены. Его музыкальная карьера как DJ, началась в первой половине девяностых, в своем родном Мурманске. В 1995 году переехав в г. Великий Новгород, он следующие несколько лет налаживает клубную жизнь в своем новом городе, а 2001 году, основавшись уже в Санкт-Петербурге, Дима полностью погрузился в работу над созданием собственных треков. В мае 2005 года, на вечеринке "Trip Nation", состоялось первое лайв выступление Дмитрия в Санкт-Петербурге, после чего он получает предложение вступить в ряды In Beat We Trust crew. С этого момента, учавствуя в вечеринках IBWT, Golitcin зарабатывает репутацию, не только как продюссер пишущий отличную музыку, но и как артист умеющий во время выступления эту музыку подать. Благодаря обширному материалу, накопленому за несколько лет, Дмитрий сумел развеять миф о музыкальной ограничености лайв выступлений, играя многочасовые сеты наравне с диск жокеями и заставляя танцевать посетителей, как маленьких клубов, так и многотысячных рейвов.Послушав его выступление Terry Hooligan a.k.a.
