Here is how the show looked today HR 1 - Sox trade deadline is the worst of both worlds HR 2 - Continuing the bashing of Breslow and the Red Sox feeble deadline HR 3 - F - Deadline HR 4 - Revisiting the Devers trade post deadline
People should be disgusted at the Red Sox trade deadline. The real shame is that fans were ready to believe in this team. Cora is pouting. This is bad. The Sox are about to go into the tank. F –. Matz and May will not help this team win a World Series. Henry is not at fault for the bad deadline.
Friday Four Pack! Here are the questions SHOULD CRAIG BRESLOW BE FIRED IF THE RED SOX MISS THE PLAYOFFS? WOULD YOU RATHER HAVE TERRY MCLAURIN OR MICAH PARSONS? WHAT IS THE BEST CONCERT YOU'VE EVER GONE TO? WHAT IS THE BEST SUMMER SONG?
Will Tampa finish above the Red Sox? Discussing the Devers return. That trade will age poorly for the Giants. The Red Sox traded three prospects in the top 30 prospects moved, but got NOTHING back. This should piss everyone off. Ken Rosenthal calls Sox deadline an epic fail. He roasted Breslow.
Breslow has achieved the worst of both worlds. Gave away Blaze Jordan and James Tibbs III. Top five things to do during October because the Sox won't be playing.
Breslow did not do his job at the trade deadline. Period. The team did its job by winning a bunch of games. All of the other AL playoff borderline teams got way better, but the Sox did almost nothing. This team had extra bucks to spend and a great farm system. Huge mistake. Jones really thought he would add. If Henry does not spend BIG on free agency, it is all on him and fans should be pissed. Yesterday was on BRESLOW, not Henry. Breslow got boo'd by the fans at the Greg Hill Show this morning. No one is more let down than Jones. Deadline DISASTER.
All of the prospects should have been on the table for Joe Ryan. Keefe thinks the Sox are toast. We were in on the Sox big time! Now that the team didn't upgrade, we can root against them. The Red Sox improved the LEAST out of any AL team. Breslow got in his feels during the press conference last night. Caller takes credit for starting the booing.

Matz and May will not help this team win a World Series. Henry is not at fault for the bad deadline. Breslow showed some emotion in his presser. Steve in Fall River trips over himself. Week in review – Fitzy fooled by false reporting
Revisiting the Devers trade after the deadline makes Breslow look even worse. Kelly and Suarez could have been ours. Prospect hugging is terrible. The perfect GM is Theo. Would you rather hire the Dombrowski model or the Breslow model? Wormy Cora snuck away from the deadline. An EPIC Grab Bag sounder. Breslow is hard to deal with. Ivy League dweebs even hate him. Clip Du Jour

Hart says the Sox will be out of the playoffs by Monday. Who are the Coopers we would rather see at Fenway Park? He is very emotional. His son is going to college. This is where you go when you are sad, but the fake world at Fenway STINKS right now. Hart took the cheese on the Sox. Breslow and Kennedy lied to him. He took them at their word. Remember the Henry cigar? Were the Sox ever actually in on Ryan? Why is Breslow not the kind of personality to get a good deal done?
During the third hour of WEEI Afternoons the guys discuss the trade deadline and Breslow's shortcomings. Then, what does Cora have to say about the state of the team.

The Drive: Alex Bregman has to be the defined leader of the clubhouse. What else can he do? Asked Ted. Bregman has never missed the playoffs in his career, he has to lead the attitude in the clubhouse. Him and Cora have to work together as a unit. The Rangers spent and got Merrill Kelly. Resetting on Parsons. Maybe the Patriots will fulfil Andy's dreams Cooper Criswell is starting for the Red Sox. What is he all about? Gotta feel bad for him right now. Long reliever type guy. Crochet load management talk. Ted took the fastest victory lap of all time last night when we thought Joe Ryan was ours. Will Flemming joins the show How is he feeling about the trade deadline? He is very upset with the Red Sox and thinks the team could have added more, but they did everything they could to make big moves. Joe Ryan is the guy they want. The Twins made the Red Sox uncomfortable. The national reporters got everything wrong. The trade deadline is its own animal. He does not think people should be so hard on Breslow. All the players are fine.

We look forward to the MLB trade deadline every year. Top 30 sports day of the year. Jones is nervous about the way he will feel about Breslow after today. Will the Red Sox make a move? The Red Sox were in on Suarez… Great! The Dumper is protected now. Thoughts on the Steven Matz trade? Bulk reliever. Depth guy. Who constitutes a big bullpen swing? Matz is not a big move. He will not move the needle.
Bradfo joins the show to discuss the MLB trade deadline. Bradfo urges Breslow to make a move. He also talks through the Mason Miller trade to the Padres. What starters are the best on the market right now? Who checks all the boxes? AJ Preller is the trade deadline MAN. Breslow? Not so much. Will the Sox make the playoffs with no additions?

Back to trade deadline talk. Not many starters have been moved yet. Robert Kraft said WHAT on a podcast with Kay Adams?
Oh man, San Diego just traded for Mason Miller. They gave up the number three prospect in baseball. The trade deadline is at peak heat. How will the Sox respond? Taking a victory lap on the Giants. Third impact reliever that has moved. Will Cease be moved? Sources are saying yes. What can the Sox do with their current roster to compete? Bradfo joins the show to discuss the MLB trade deadline. We could talk to Hollins about foot stuff and alien stuff! Dream guest.
Here is how the show looked today HR 1 - Wake up and make a trade, Breslow! | Pats vibes are high HR 2 - Patriots Optimism HR 3 - Lou Merloni joins the show | Please trade for Joe Ryan or any starting pitcher, Breslow HR 4 - Dustin May it is, Chief
What do we want the Red Sox to do at the deadline? Starting pitching is what the Sox need the most. There has not been too many starters moved. Reliable Jared Carrabis says he is back in Joe Ryan to the Red Sox. Jay in Rhode Island tells Andy Hart to take a chill pill. Listen for Fitzy's interview with Morgan Moses. Yankees bullpen gets better with the addition of Bednar. Everyone in AL playoff picture is getting better except Sox. Patriots vibes have not been this high since the mural sunk them.
Lou Merloni joins the show and is very disappointed. The Sox need starting pitching. Who can they go out and get? Will the Sox have a fall out if they do not make anymore moves? Lou does not care about prospects, neither does the dugout. The Sox are young! He hates it when people are so upset with prospects leaving. Everyone wants veterans and good established players, not rookies. Andy expresses his frustrations with the Red Sox for not doing anything at the trade deadline. This takes all the air out of the balloon. Joe Ryan discussion. Who is off the table? Hart hates prospect huggers.
Jones and Keefe discuss the Red Sox pouring water on trade deadline rumors and are prepared for the worst... Breslow standing pat.
The Twins walked off the Sox last night and it was a bad loss. Hicks is no longer Keefe's guy. Breslow, it is time to add. What is happening on Breslow's calls to other teams? Are the Padres still in on Duran? Breslow has two days to figure something out! Whitlock is sick, the bullpen is not good right now. We need Whitlock. Looking like the trade deadline will be a major dud for the Sox. They need a good right handed bat.

Breslow should act quickly to address the Red Sox' top needs as the trade deadline gets closer. With the farm depth the Sox have, they should be able to do enough to put the team in playoff contention. Jones and Keefe rank the top storylines heading into Patriots' training camp.
HR 3 - Buying seems to be the lane the Red Sox will choose at the trade deadline, but it may take some time for Craig Breslow to find the right deal. Should fans even have confidence that Breslow will make the right move? Then, its The Man from Nantucket report with local comedian Brian Glowacki on the New England Nightly News. And, its an odd time for Robert Kraft to be praising Bill Belichick, but a certain celebration might have something to do with it.

Breslow sets us up for something big at the trade deadline
Cora or Breslow. What are moves that the Red Sox could do
Scheim and Curtis give their leads for the morning. Scheim says bacon is better floppy while Curtis says Cora will be gone before Breslow.
The crew debate what they would like the extension to look like for Bregman and what did Breslow really say yesterday.
Breslow wants to be a buyer at the tradeline. Week in Review
Craig Breslow gave his thoughts on the recent struggles from the Red Sox and kept pointing the finger at how things are run within the organization. Is this a sign of the total disconnect or is Breslow feeling the heat?
The Red Sox lineup leaves much to be desired right now. No one is going. Very spotty at best. Why is Duran struggling so much? Cora is back on the hot seat. What is he supposed to do without Devers? He is in hot water right now though with Henry because of the Devers situation. This whole thing is tough to read. He couldn't solve the problems in the clubhouse. Keefe thinks that Breslow will stay but Cora will go in the offseason. None of the prospects are producing at the big league level. They are definitely second guessing everything. Going through the strikeout numbers. The veterans are letting the team down. Bradfo is MADFO today. Nothing is clicking for the Red Sox right now, including messaging. This timing is horrendous. There is nothing to defend. There is no offense on this team. You are now reliant on the young players who have had nothing in their careers to be the backbone of this team. They are putting too much pressure on Roman Anthony right now. There are no other options to go to. There is no answer as to why Duran is not good right now. It is time to ride this out. There is a chance that this season is salvaged. Bregman situation discussion. What happened to Kutter Crawford? Michael Kopech discussion. Keefe is the WAG expert. Kutter Crawford suffered a wrist injury off the field. What was it? Weird sports injuries discussion. If Crawford does not answer how It happened, we have to assume it was a Sloppy Thurston.
