The guys are back with another midweek show, this time breaking down the action between the Orioles and Rangers at Camden Yards. Jake and Eric get into all the hype of the first game in which Trevor Rogers threw one of the most unexpected gems of an eight inning start in recent memory, which was then squashed by an equally maddening game 2 and 3. Three home runs in a row to break a no-hitter weren't enough to power the O's to a win in Game 2, and the offensive malaise continued into Game 3 as Jacob DeGrom shut them down to the tune of a complete game for much of the action. As the All-Star Break and trade deadline approach, it's starting to become clear that this team has all the makings of a seller, rather than one that would buy or even hold. The only question is, how much of a seller will they be? Thanks as always for listening, and we'll be back at you very soon. Send us a textThe Minnesota Twins lose two and win two against the visiting Seattle Mariners, giving David and Dan some hope that this year's team, now halfway through the season, isn't without hope. They critique the performances by all four starting pitchers and question the choices of manager Rocco Baldelli more than the decisions by Mariners skipper Dan Wilson. Both of them look toward the trade deadline and find little reason at this point to trade key assets. Still, they see lots to like in this series split as they look toward the next few series before the All-Star Break. Tek & Prem welcome The Philly Quizmaster and co-owner of Shibe Vintage Sports, Johnny Goodtimes, on the VetLine to talk Birds, Sixers, and his unique Kobe Bryant meeting. The Eagles Preseason is less than 2 months away, and minicamps have been very interesting. With an infusion of youth and energy, the Super Bowl Champs are close to beginning their march towards a repeat Lombardi Trophy in the 2025 NFL Season. Jalen Hurts seems to have galvanized his doubters, who are out at an all-time high, but as we discuss, that may serve to blow up in all of their faces. Another dinner with Michael Jordan before a Super Bowl could be on the horizon. The Phillies will only compete for a World Series if some drastic moves are made at the trade deadline, and it remains to be seen if the Front Office shares that sentiment, with the All-Star Break just a month away. Bryce Harper is still out with a wrist injury, although he has resumed baseball activities. Segments include: VetPhact, VetLine, Prem's MLB Picks.Courtesy of the Vet Alumni Members Association (VAMA)

Hot streak followed by disasters, and we're not even in the tough stretch of the schedule, which circles around the All Star Break. We'll even tell you who our favorite All Star selections are this year.Stay loose and sexy, Hoagie Mouth Nation.Email: hoagiemouthpod@gmail.comIG: @hoagiemouthpod
On this episode, the Stone Cold Stros guys discuss how impressive Astros' recent really is in the face of all their challenges, if they can keep this pace into the All-Star Break, and lessons learned from the fallout from what could be the last chapter of Forrest Whitley's career in Houston.
Mitch Keller struggled against the Astros and ended with another loss. He might have 10 losses before the All-Star Break despite pitching to an ERA below 4. Bob discussed how the controllable part for a pitcher is location. Bailey Falter has a great fastball and no one has been able to adjust.
Chris and Casey take calls from a few Bucs fans on Todd Bowles and Chris Godwin and give out Caliente Takes for the week. Chris has a bold take on Rachaad White and Casey thinks Rays power hitters will come into their own by the All-Star Break.
Aaron and Nick take a look at what injuries the Rays have currently and judge who could be back soonest and who may have to wait till after the All-Star Break.
As a difficult season rolls on for the Orioles, so too do the opportunities to relish in what's been a rare occurrence this far: a series win for the fanbase to enjoy. Jake and Eric hop on the live show to discuss a weekend that featured a few late nights, a new home run prop, more consistent offense, and most importantly, two wins over the Angels. The guys discuss what they liked, what's still ripe for improvement from a squad that has a lot of ground to make up before the All Star Break, and much more. As the Cardinals put the finishing touches on their sixth win in a row, Daniel (@C70) sits down with Josh Jacobs (@joshjaco98) to talk about a team that, at the moment, looks pretty good. The offense is clicking and got Ivan Herrera back, even though he's not currently behind the plate. Will that change? John Mozeliak said that the runway for Nolan Gorman and Jordan Walker isn't infinite. How does that impact the two going forward? The guys also talk about the rotation and the bullpen before tackling the tough question: what happens if this team is in contention at the All-Star Break? Plus a great moment from Rich (@remembirds) about an awesome pitching performance. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Chris and Casey keep the Rays conversation going with when they thnk is an appropriate time to worry about the Rays being a playoff team or not. Is it before or after the All-Star Break? Find out here.
Spencer Horwitz and Nick Gonzales are coming back soon, but can they make a huge difference? A change could happen before the All-Star Break if things continue in this direction. Austin thinks this could derail Bubba Chandler's debut time and push him back later in the year if the team continues losing.
(0:00-7:52) The Phillies secured a victory against the Nationals last night, clinching another season series in a game that was notably less stressful than the previous evening's matchup. (7:52-16:03) To gauge public sentiment, we conducted a Twitter poll asking when fans typically form their opinions about the team's performance, with most respondents indicating that they do so around the All-Star Break. (16:03-28:01) Emotions run high among fans, as noted by Connor, who observed that many express their feelings about the team more vocally after negative events rather than positive ones. (28:01-36:05) Looking ahead, Ranger Suarez is expected to return this weekend from his back injury, prompting questions about how the Phillies will adjust their bullpen and rotation. Additionally, the anticipated arrival of Andrew Painter will likely necessitate further changes within the team structure. Send us a textThe Minnesota Twins win a series for the third time in eight opportunities, handling the Chicago White Sox in two of three at Target Field. David and Dan are pleased with the series win and some of the positive signs, most notably the play of rookie Luke Keaschall, whose flowing golden locks definitely make him a better player (or at least more fun to watch steal bases). Dan does his best to defend the idea of keeping Rocco Baldelli on as manager for not just this year but for a long time beyond. David has a path for the Twins to get back to .500 by the All-Star Break in July. And they've both got some empathy for Rocco who has turned so often lately to an empty bench. In 2022 the Braves walked down the New York Mets and won the NL East after being down ELEVEN games after the All-Star Break! Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael talk more about the hole that the Braves have found themselves in to start the season, and what they need to do in this first home-stand of the season to start finding their way out of it.
