On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Joe From Queens to offer some predictions on the Buffalo Bills 2025 schedule, which will be made official next Wednesday in addition to several other Bills and other topics.Of course, we already know the Bills 2025 opponents and the wait won't be much longer before we actually find out in what order they'll be, but that doesn't stop the guys from taking a stab at how they think the schedule will be. Will there be any international games? How many times will Buffalo play in prime time? How many Sunday 1pm games will they have?  Will they play on a holiday? Who will they open the season against? The guys try to guess each of these questions. Also, Patrick brings up a text for discussion that really shines a negative light on Sean McDermott without actually saying that he's done a bad job. Still, it's something that deserves to be talking about.Meanwhile, Bills rookie camp began and Joe's never cared about anything in his since. Plus Joe's "True or False" segment, Patrick's Mt. It's another edition of The Podbag on today's episode of Talking Buffalo, as Patrick Moran is responding to questions, comments and takes from listeners on several topics, including being asked what's his single favorite Buffalo Bills transaction move of the offseason.Regardless of how you feel about the Bills offseason, it's indisputable that it's been a very busy one for general manager Brandon Beane and his staff. They've re-signed several of their own veterans to extensions, added a lot of free agents especially on the defensive side of the ball and added nine prospects via the NFL draft. So, which one is Patrick's personal favorite? He runs down a handful of moves that could be in the top spot before explaining why for him it's ultimately the addition of edge rusher Joey Bosa. Also, it won't be long before wide receiver Gabe Davis finds a new home after being released by the Jacksonville Jaguars and it's highly unlikely to be with the Buffalo Bills, but at least the possibility is there for right now and fans have plenty to say about that. Patrick has thoughts on people who land on either side of the fence.Cole Bishop starting at safety, Joe Brady's brain fart at the most inopportune time last year and Dalton Kincaid needing to step up are also topics, as is the NHL playoffs making a fan hate the Buffalo Sabres even more. That plus a food review on The Hoagie Stop on Clinton Street and much more.Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red's at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. Interest In A Gabe Davis Reunion? (Plus, Sabres Stay Laughable)

On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by PK from the Buffalo Sports Collective for a conversation covering several Buffalo sports topics, including a potential Gabe Davis reunion with the Bills, the Sabres remaining laughable and a Bandits championship preview. The Jacksonville Jaguars released Davis just one year after signing him to a three-year, $39 million deal. Naturally, talk on social media immediately began to pour in about a potential Davis return to the Bills. The guys discuss it and while so many factors make it feel (highly) unlikely, such as what the room already looks like and Gabe having zero special teams value, it's not something that should be ruled completely out until he signs with another team. Plus, would a Gabe return show a lack of confidence in the player it feels like they drafted to replace him to begin with in Keon Coleman? Also, the Sabres announced Eric Staal is being hired to be a special assistant to general manager Kevyn Adams, who somehow reportedly is keeping his GM job and will return in the role for a sixth season. That coupled with a few other moves and rumored moves just has the guys laughing and of course, leads to yet another Patrick rant against the organization he considers the worst in all of professional sports. He's probably not alone---is the faith among the fan base quite literally the lowest it's ever been?Thankfully Buffalo sports fans have the Bandits to root for (if you're not, you should be). PK covers the Bandits brilliantly for Buffalo Sports Collective and has plenty of insight as the team gets ready to try and win their third consecutive NLL championship that begins in Buffalo on Friday May 16th. That and plenty more. You can follow PK on Twitter @PK_BSC and check out the Buffalo Sports Collective podcast.Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red's at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. 10 Buffalo Bills Predictions Before Week One

On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran goes over ten Buffalo Bills predictions he has that will play out between now and the Week one start of the 2025 NFL regular season. It's never too early for predictions, even though we certainly reserve the right to change them at some point down the line. For now though, Patrick feels pretty good about 10 things he sees happening. Among those is a returning Tre White impressing enough during the summer to at least temporarily take back control of a starting cornerback job alongside Christian Benford, even with first-round draft pick Maxwell Hairston. As Patrick explains, it's no indictment against Hairston as much as a (hopefully) fully healthy Tre White having the experience and confidence from head coach Sean McDermott that he can put White in to begin the season while letting Hairston ease his way before eventually taking over. Also, White's return felt great to a lot of Bills fans but between he and a trio of cornerback draft picks last month, the news isn't great for Dane Jackson, who Patrick predicts will have a second stint with the Bills that's short lived.James Cook likely won't get any extension in 2025 and almost certainly not before the season but Patrick doesn't think Cook's going to be an issue going into training camp in July. He does see another Bills veteran getting inked to an extension before the season starts.  That plus a potentially big camp battle at safety, an unheralded rookie from last year Patrick thinks can take a big step in 2025 and much more.Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red's at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Matt Warren (SB Nation) to discuss the Buffalo Bills and more specifically, dissect some of the worst decisions of Brandon Beane through his tenure so far as Bills general manager. So it's clear in the show notes just as it was said repeatedly on the podcast---this is not meant to be an indictment of Beane. The guys both think by and large Beane has done a fantastic job not just building the Bills roster but keeping them in a position to consistently challenge for a championship every season. He's made a lot more good decisions than bad ones. That said, the guys are diggig into and discussing the latter. From three early round draft picks who flamed out quickly, to a handful of free agent signings that didn't turn out the way Beane hoped, a few regretful contract extensions and a pair of trades Beane probably wishes he had back, Beane's not above being criticized. They also discuss the offseasons of two AFC rivals, Baltimore and Cincinnati. You can follow Matt on Twitter @MattRichWarren and be sure to check out Buffalo Rumblingsfor your (really good) daily Bills content.Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red's at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Joe From Queens to discuss several topics, including a full examination of everything Brandon Beane has done as Buffalo Bills GM when it comes to the rostering of wide receivers.Last week was a pretty controversial one for Beane after he went on WGR and immediately got after radio hosts Jeremy White and Joe Dibiase for Beane considers a lot of complaining about the Bills not doing enough at wide receiver. Besides discussing Beane's radio appearance and attitude regarding the issue, the guys dive into every move that Beane has made when it comes to wide receiver since becoming the general manager in 2017. They go through the list and discuss every receiver the Bills have drafted, signed as a free agent or traded for under the Beane regime. Spoiler alert---Patrick's more impressed with the history and list than Joe is.They also talk about Beane's most recent one-on-one interview with Tyler Dunne over at Go Long and are yet again impressed with Dunne's ability to not only get Beane for a full hour sit down but several pretty candid if not tough questions asked by Dunne in the piece. That plus Joe's True or False segment, another Patrick Mt. Where The Bills 2024 Draft Class Stands, One Year Later

It's another edition of The Podbag on this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran responds to questions, comments and takes submitted by fans, consisting this week of all Buffalo Bills and including where the 2024 Bills draft class stands one year later. It's near impossible to tell if a draft class will ultimately pan out well or not after just one year and this past one was no exception, but there's certainly clues. Patrick discusses how opportunity still knocks big time for the first two picks, Keon Coleman and Cole Bishop and how they could carry roles significant to the success of the 2025 Bills. Conversely, even after just one year it's getting harder to see a clear path for third round pick Dewayne Carter getting consistent playing time after Brandon Beane traded up for defensive tackles two times in the first four rounds last week. Ray Davis seems pretty locked into the same role he had in 2024, at least for this season while the others from the 2024 class are pretty locked into roster depth, though Patrick has some decently high hopes for Javon Solomon. Also, the Bills signed wide receiver Elijah Moore on Wednesday and Patrick thinks it's a very good move, especially for this time of the offseason. It also alleviates or at least should some of the frustration of the Bills not taking a wide receiver before the seventh round last week and let's not forget—Moore just turned 25 years old.Patrick also responds to takes involving first-round cornerback Max Hairston, people who think trading up for TJ Sanders was dumb, if Damar Hamlin's roster spot could be in trouble and some perhaps going overboard on the Kansas City praising. That plus a few thoughts on yesterday's show with Bills superfan Tommy Parzymieso and much more. ♦♦♦♦♦Follow Patrick Moran/Talking Buffalo Podcast Substack: Patrick Moran's SubstackTwitter: @PatrickMoranTBBlue Sky: @PatrickMoranTB.bsky.socialInstagram: @PatrickMoranTBFacebook: Talking Buffalo Podcast Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red'sat 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. The guys offer their thoughts on each and how they may fit in and while going into the draft it felt unrealistic every draft pick could make the roster, Patrick actually believes there's a feasible case for each of them to make the team. If nothing else it feels the competition for roster spots in Rochester at training camp this summer should be far livelier than a year ago. Also, the Buffalo sports world is still buzzing over Bills general manager Brandon Beane's fiesty appearance on WGR 500 Monday morning when he blasted cohosts Jeremy White and Joe DiBiase for complaining that the Bills haven't done enough at wide receiver. It's led to strong reaction on both sides of the fence from fans and the guys offer their opinions on that.Speaking of wide receiver, Matt offers his take on if people are sleeping on free agent signee Josh Palmer and if the team has done enough to address the depth at the position. That plus several takeaways on the draft hauls for teams around the league, including the AFC east and plenty more. Brandon Beane Comes In Hot (Plus, Plan For Fixing The Sabres)

On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Chris Ostrander (Two in the Box) to discuss Buffalo Bills general manager coming in hot on a WGR 550 appearance Monday morning in addition to what Chris' offseason plan is to finally fix the Buffalo Sabres this offseason.Beane made a radio appearance with Jeremy White and Joe DiBiase Monday morning and was outwardly annoyed at their "bitching' over the wide receiver position, touting the success of the offense last year despite media and fans complaining about the loss of Stefon Diggs. The guys have plenty of reaction to Beane's fiery comments. The Sabres continued to do what they've excelled at for the past 14 years now---miss the playoffs. They didn't come close either this time around as their 79 points was third from the bottom in the Eastern Conference and 12 points behind the last wild card team, Montreal. It really feels like a blown opportunity given that 92 points could've gotten them to the playoffs and everyone, for the most part rightfully so points to the 13-game winless streak early in the season that quickly did them in. As a result the Sabres pulled back into a tie with the New York Jets for the longest playoff drought of any team of the four major professional sports. So how does this never ending drought finally end? Patrick tasks Chris with coming up with a plan. What trades can be made, what free agent(s) can be convinced to come to Buffalo, what changes need to be made to the roster internally as well as the coaching staff? Does Kevyn Adams keep his GM job? Should he keep his job? Chris does his best to shed light on everything necessary to turn this mess around. Also, Chris has plenty reactions on the Bills draft and the offseason as a whole now that it's mostly complete.  That plus a Sylvester Stallone vs Arnold Schwarzenegger who was a better 80's movie star debate and much more.Be sure to follow Chris on X at @2ITB_Buffalo and check out the Two in the Box blog in addition to the Instigator Podcast.Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red's at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Joe From Queens to discuss several topics, including how with all the resources allocated to the Buffalo Bills defense through free agency and now the draft, it better be a unit that looks dramatically better in 2025.Since the 2024 season ended with an AFC title game loss at Arrowhead against Kansas City, the Bills notable offensive changes have consisted of signing Josh Palmer and Laviska Shenault while letting Mack Hollins and Amari Cooper walk. They failed to add a wide receiver until the seventh round of this latest NFL draft and did grab a primarily blocking tight end late in the fifth.  Meanwhile they signed Joey Bosa, Larry Ogunjobi, Michael Hoecht, Darrick Forrest, Tre White and and Dane Jackson in free agency. They then proceeded to use their first five picks and six of the first seven on defense in the draft. It's essentially an entire defensive makeover from last year. That's fine, but as the guys discuss it better lead to consistently positive changes because if it doesn't, especially come January it should be a direct indictment against Brandon Beane, Sean McDermott, Bobby Babich and other defensive coaches. They also spend some time talking Joe's trip to Western New York over the past week, including meeting up with Patrick at Resurgence Brewing last Thursday for a Bills draft party and live podcast afterwards. That plus another Mt. Flushmore, fan comments and much more.Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red's at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. On this bonus weekend episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran has full live reactions shortly after the conclusion of the 2025 NFL draft, including a Saturday that saw Buffalo make one big (literal and figurative) trade and six day-three selections in all. After going defense on nights one and two of the draft the Bills kept it going in round four. In fact, they packaged a late fourth and a fifth to move up to pick No. 109 that they originally traded from Chicago to go get mammoth defensive tackle Deonte Walker from Kentucky Patrick has plenty of thoughts on the move, if it made sense to him, the joy of instantly seeing people no longer whining that TJ Sanders isn't a one tech defensive tackle and what it could mean for a few veteran tackles.Patrick also has takes on the Bills other three selections, including a tight end (Jackson Hawes) he nailed in his mock draft and a strong (pun) cornerback he likes in Dorian Strong. He also offers opinions on what he loved and hated about this draft for the Bills, a few things around the league he hated about the draft as it pertains to the Bills. That plus running down his biggest steals from each round around the league, the biggest winners and losers among the Bills veterans now that draft is over and plenty more.Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red's at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. On today's bonus Saturday episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Mike Bundt from Trainwreck Sports for LIVE reactions immediately following night two of the NFL draft, an evening that included the Buffalo Bills moving up bigtime for the defensive tackle they coveted and staying on the D-line in round three. It's now obvious that TJ Sanders was a prospect Bills general manager Brandon Beane was high on. Buffalo gave up picks 56, 62 and 109 to the Chicago Bears in exchange for 41, 72 and a seventh-round pick. After moving up 15 spots the Bills took Sanders, a 305-pound versatile defensive tackle from South Carolina. The guys have a bunch of thoughts on Sanders, the first defensive tackle to get drafted in the second round. In the third round the Bills stayed on the defensive line and took 6-5, 264 pound Arkansas edge rusher Landon Jackson, a prospect that has been heavily linked to the Bills throughout this entire draft process. Jackson had 6.5 sacks and 9.5 tackles for a loss last year with the Razorbacks. The guys react to the pick and Patrick admits that while it feels like great value, he really (really) wanted Buffalo to take Notre Dame safety. They also react to more things Buffalo and an exciting draft through two nights.Make sure to follow Mike on Twitter @Mike_Bundt.Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red's at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. He's a playmaker and willing tackler but definitely not known for his tackling. He's also more polished as a man defender than zone, both at least semi departures from what they usually look for. The guys have plenty of instant reactions to that and Patrick on a few surprises that happened throughout the first round. The guys were on hand at Resurgence for their Bills Draft Party, an event hosted by WGR 550's Jeremy White and Joe DiBiase with tons of fans and other outlets, including Bills Mafia founding member Del Reid.♦♦♦♦♦Follow Patrick Moran/Talking Buffalo Podcast Substack: Patrick Moran's SubstackTwitter: @PatrickMoranTBBlue Sky: @PatrickMoranTB.bsky.socialInstagram: @PatrickMoranTBFacebook: Talking Buffalo Podcast

Among other topics, Patrick has thoughts on what bringing Tre White means and how it may connect to the draft as well the next few days potentially serving as a form of indication on how the team is feeling about 2024 second-round wide receiver Keon Coleman, who flashed but was also highly consistent as a rookie. Also, safety is a position being highly discussed and picked for the Bills early in mock drafts by many national media folk, including Malaki Starts going to Buffalo in Benjamin Albright's mock draft. Patrick wonders if the safety talk is just that---all talk.Additionally, several Notre Dame players that Patrick feels like really good fits for the Bills right for now are mentioned, as well as non-first round guys he really likes and doesn't and who his top five most likely Bills first overall picks are as things stand. That plus Patrick breezes through his one and only seven round Bills mock draft that includes not one, not two but three trade ups and more.Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red's at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Aaron Quinn from Cover 1 for a final Buffalo Bills seven round mock draft. less than two days before the actual NFL Draft commences on Thursday night. As is the case every year, injury reports are emerging on a handful of top prospects just days before the draft, which could push down guys who've been pretty to very high in a lot of mocks. These prospects include defensive tackles Derrick Harmon and Alfred Collins and cornerback Will Johnson. Aaron also shares how he's feeling about wide receiver Keon Coleman going into his second year and what, if anything the signing of Tre White means as it pertains to this year's draft.Kicking the draft off and things mostly go the way the guys want leading up to the Bills pick at 30, at least in terms of cornerbacks. Both Harmon and Derrick Grant are available but go off the board within five picks of Buffalo, showing it's likely Brandon Beane would have to move up for one. Aaron doesn't and is happy take a cornerback with question marks but a very high ceiling. They take what Aaron calls a bit of a luxury pick with their first of two round selections and grab defensive Joshua Palmer at pick No. 62.From there they try to wait on making a trade for specific players a few times that proves to be unsuccessful. The guys end up taking a speedy wide receiver and doubling down at defensive tackle in the fourth round before selecting a bunch of flyers on guys Aaron admittedly doesn't feel great about, lamenting not trading up and having less picks. In all though, it's a haul that both guys seem to like with a heavy emphasis on improving the talent in the secondary, with defensive end being the sacrificial lamb for it. Most Bills fans would surely be satisfied with this draft. You can follow Aaron on Twitter @AaronQuinn716and be sure to check out the Cover 1 Buffalo PodcastMajor props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red's at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. It's important to note that by modern era that means anytime past 1970 after the NFL and AFL merged. That disqualified a handful of 1960's draft picks that would've easily been on and likely near the top of the list, such as Butch Byrd, Mike Stratton, Tom Sestak and Billy Shaw.Patrick counts down his list with explanations for each and spoiler alert---there's three current Buffalo Bills players on the list. As you'd expect Joe has plenty to say about several of the players and especially the order Patrick has them ranked in. Fun little spoiler alert----Joe is not very keen on Patrick's placement of Phil Hansen and also thinks current Bills cornerback Taron Johnson is ranked way too low. Also, Joe has his Buffalo Bills/NFL Draft bingo board with plenty of hilarious nuggets. He comes up with five, including the likelihood that Brandon Beane is going to have to move up from pick No. 30 if his target is one of the two most talked about defensive tackles in the draft that feel like perfect fits for the Bills, Derrick Harmon and Kenneth Grant. He also expresses confidence the Bills are going to a wide receiver among their first three picks after feeling the complete opposite during this entire process while thinking running back won't be addressed much if at all next week.Patrick also responds to a take that it feels like 2022 all over again where the Bills feel pigeonholed into taking a cornerback first, such as the case with Kaiir Elam a few years ago. He explains why he doesn't really think that's case but also admits he was perfectly fine with the Elam pick when it happened in 2022.More Bills topics are covered as well as some other things as well, including understandable wrath from Buffalo Sabres fans that Keyvn Adams is clearly being retained and no excuses to not lock up Alex Tuch longterm.  That plus two TV shows discussed, Wingnutz, 80's hard rock and more.Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red's at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. Defense obviously feels like the bigger need, especially considering Josh Allen just won MVP and the vast majority of the offense is back from last year. Still, the draft isn't just about one season and the guys start to go through the team position-by-position to determine where priorities could be beyond just the upcoming 2025 season.More specifically the guys talk about wide receiver being a position of interest because Beane can get out of Curtis Samuel's contract after this year. Also, Dion Dawkins is one of the game's best left tackles but at 31 years old, do you start considering grooming a replacement for when he skills inevitably decline. Also, the Bills have four NFL caliber safeties but two are signed for just one year and another a guy Buffalo can easily financially move on from in 2026 if they desire.Matt also has thoughts on what he considers the most intriguing things about this draft, the New Orleans Saints quarterback situation and much more. On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by special guest Bruce Nolan (The Bruce Exclusive) for the third in a series of four Buffalo Bills full seven round mock drafts leading up the real draft beginning next Thursday night.Cornerback prospect Trey Amos was the Bills first-round pick in each of the two previous Talking Buffalo mock drafts, will Bruce make it three straight? Before they get to their mock Patrick asks Bruce about some topics surrounding the draft and certain possibilities, such as the Bills needing to be willing to roster four tailbacks on their active roster this season if they select another without trading James Cook, as some Bills are starting to talk about if not straight up root for in light of the Cook contract demands many see as unreasonable. Also, Buffalo has had a lot of wide receiver prospects in for visit and Patrick's wondering who could potentially be the odd man out, if any if they pull the trigger on a pass catcher early enough. From there they get started with the mock draft and as always with Bruce, it's informative, educational and entertaining.Make sure to follow/subscribe to The Bruce Exclusive and give Bruce a follow on Twitter @BruceExclusive.Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red's at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. What Head Coaches Would You Trade Sean McDermott For?

Arguments are plentiful on this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Joe From Queens to discuss several topics, including examining what  coaches around the NFL they'd hypothetically trade Sean McDermott for if they could. The Buffalo Bills head coach is definitely one of the more polarizing figures when it comes to this era of Bills football. He's won a ton of games and consistently leads Buffalo to division titles and the playoffs. However, he's yet to get over the hump in the AFC and the defensive-minded head coach has saw his unit implode in almost every elimination loss. The guys run through every coach around the league and play an imaginary game of what head coaches they'd swap out McDermott for if they could, and the results could surprise you.Speaking of polarizing, it wouldn't be a week of Buffalo sports talk without discussing James Cook. Bills fans have vastly varying views of Cook, some of it probably skewed by the fact they know it's likely his last year in Buffalo. The guys try to figure out how many running backs in the NFL are better than Cook right now as things stand. Also, regular segments including Joe's True or False and Patrick's Mt. Flushmore, this week consisting of the Bills all-time worst first-round draft picks. That plus questions answered from listeners and plenty more.Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red's at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by one of the most respected Buffalo Bills content creators in the business, Anthony Prohaska of Cover 1 for a full seven round Bills mock draft, version two.In the first of the mock draft series last week, Cover 1's David Tilton came on and went with a pair of Ole Miss defenders right at the top of the Bills draft to  mixed reviews from the audience. David took cornerback Trey Amos in the first round and while it wasn't exactly lauded by many, it's falling in line with many others out there projecting Amos to Buffalo because of the need and his skill set being a natural fit for Sean McDermott. Will Anthony follow suit in this week's mock? Before that, the guys spend some time refreshing Anthony's memory of his Bills mock draft on this show, which turned out to be one of the most downloaded shows of the 2024. It was a mock almost every Bills fan would trade for how the draft played out in reality because Anthony had the Bills scoring both Xavier Worthy and Xavier Legette in the second round in addition to a rising young stud safety with San Francisco in the fourth, Malik Mustapha. They also spend some time discussing several current (and prominent) Bills players recently joining the Film Room show on Cover 1, if Anthony approaches these drafts with a specific strategy, a position or player floating around for the Bills in mock drafts the guys think is a myth and a specific discussion about Shavon Revel, who Patrick considers one of the most polarizing prospects in this draft. Then it's time to fire up the mock draft simulator, one being used for the first time on this show, Stick to the Model. Trades are allowed and all bets are off in this informative and entertaining latest mock exercise.Be sure to follow Anthony on Twitter @Pro_Ant and of course, follow Cover 1 on YouTube for daily content no Bills fan should go without.Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red's at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. Primary Buffalo Bills Concerns (As Things Stand Now)

On  this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Matt Warren from SB Nations to discuss several Buffalo Bills topics, including an examination on some of the primary reasons for concerns when it comes to the 2025 Bills as things currently stand.Don't want to get this twisted---this is not a pile on the Buffalo Bills for any and all of their perceived shortcomings with the intention of being negative episodes. In fact, the guys go out of their way to praise Brandon Beane and staff and what appears to be a really solid offseason balance of locking up core players for the long term while investing free agent dollars in areas of need, particularly on the defensive line. The Bills are poised to be in the mix for an AFC championship yet again this season and for good reason---it's a very well put together roster with a lot of strengths, none so more than the MVP quarterback. However, that doesn't mean this is roster without flaws or least question marks around it and both Patrick and Matt put on their critically objective hats and discuss several of them, including what appears to be a pretty big leap of faith that Keon Coleman will grow into a very good wide receiver in his second year, the boundary cornerback position looking razor thin (again, as things stand) and a safety room that least Patrick isn't ready to start believing in.They also wonder how much, if at all the James Cook contract situation could be an issue come training camp in July and if it'll resolve itself or become a New York Jets 2024 Haasan Reddick situation in the worse case. That plus are the Bills doing enough to help Josh Allen be great, will Miami star receiver Tyreek Hill actually end up getting traded, thoughts on Cam Ward very likely being the number one overall pick and much more. You can follow Matt on Twitter @MattRichWarren and be sure to check out Buffalo Rumblingsfor your (really good) daily Bills content.Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red'sat 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. Nine Great Fit CB Prospects For The Bills (Plus Sabres Are Scorching Hot)

On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran goes over nine cornerback draft prospects he'd like to see Brandon Beane and the Buffalo Bills draft, tiered into three categories in addition to debating if the Buffalo Sabres recent hot streak is a good longer term development. It's obvious the Bills will be targeting at least one cornerback in the draft and very likely early. As things stand Dane Jackson would be in line to start alongside Christian Benford and it's hard to fathom Bills brass considering that a Plan A. Defensive tackle and edge rusher are two other primary needs and who knows when Buffalo pulls the trigger on a corner. Patrick has three groups with three prospects in each that he really likes and discusses all of them, ranging from guys the Bills could be fortunate to land at pick No. 30 all the way through a few likely early day three picks. Also, the Buffalo Sabres have caught fire, winning seven of their last eight games overall and have went 12-2 in their last 14 home games. There's a lot of things to like from what we've seen over the past month, but does it carry any significance beyond this season? Patrick makes cases for both the promising conclusion to yet another disappointing campaign having a positive long term impact versus potentially giving upper management a false sense of the realistic ceiling of this team as presently constructed.Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red's at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Joe From Queens to discuss several topics, including examining if Buffalo Bills owner Terry Pegula is given the credit he deserves for the Bills sustainable success in recent years.A lot of Buffalo fans have reservations if not flat-out disdain for Pegula because of his ownership with the Buffalo Sabres, an era that's been scarred by terrible play, terrible coaching and management decisions, Pegula not spending close to the salary cap and never making himself available to speak the media to explain or offer accountability for the Sabres woes. However, the Bills have been a playoff team in every season except one since 2017 and there's no questioning Pegula's willingness to spend as much as he can along the way. Also, Alex Ovechkin broke Wayne Gretzky's goal scoring record over the weekend, leading to Patrick recalling a Gretzky memory with strong Buffalo ties and Joe pondering what Buffalo sports records feel most unlikely to ever get broken. The guys also have thoughts on the Bills "stadium topping" celebration last Friday, pretty much on the same page with thinking it was stupid. That plus deciding if Josh Allen or Hailee Steinfeld are more famous, Joe's Truth or False segment, Patrick's Mt. Flushmore of garbage party songs and much more.Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red's at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium.
