In this episode, Rob & DT celebrate one of their favorite times of year as the '25 NFL schedule was released this week. The way the slate of games lays out for our Bills is giving the fellas straight #1 seed vibes as our Bills look to accomplish the last thing that has eluded them (regular season-wise) over the course of their most recent success. Rob thinks the way the marquee opponents are spread out over the 17 games is optimal for a really special regular season. With no international games or holiday games DT thinks the "consistency" of the schedule could lend itself to helping the Bills as they search for a 5th straight AFCE title and the playoffs that come thereafter. Make no mistake, there are still plenty of primetime matchups along with the 4:25pm window games that have now become like mini-primetime games within themselves. Rob sends out an official invitation to DT to come down to Charlotte when the Bills travel to play the Panthers. Rob thinks that game could mirror the 'Bills Takeover' games we've grown accustomed to seeing down in South Beach as CLT is littered with Mafia members!Finally, the fellas pick the W-L record for our '25 Bills and there is a consensus...our '25 Bills should be really really good this season.

Brandon Beane got duped a little bit after the signing of Larry Ogunjobi, but made sure the Bills looked good by not ripping up the agreement after news came out about the impending PED suspensions for he and FA signing Michael Hoecht. Rob is now referring to them as McGwire & Sosa exclusively. LOLDraft. Develop. Re-sign. Beane stuck to his favorite moniker big time this offseason by resigning 4 core players of the Bills' future in Shakir/Bernard/Rousseau /Benford. What a crazy game we had at The Ralph last Sunday as the Bills once again found a way to beat their rival Dolphins in improbable fashion. Although the offense took most of the 1st half to wake up, once it did they looked very familiar to Bills offenses of old and Rob doesn't think it's a coincidence. In this episode, Rob & DT discuss our Bills being served up a huge piece of 'humble pie' courtesy of the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football 35-10 in the worst blowout we've suffered in almost three years!!! Then the fellas turn their attention to the big matchup in H-Town this Sunday against the Texans and you know who. What the heck was that?!?!?! From the offense sputtering to start the game all the way to literally the first play from scrimmage for BAL, Buffalo looked outclassed and were thoroughly outcoached on SNF. And just when you could start to think we were ready to mount a comeback, Joe Brady picks that as the perfect time to run one of the dumbest trick plays DT & Rob have ever seen. It was just that kind of night in Maryland and DT is happy to get it out of the way now early in the season. Rob isn't so sure the Bills haven't reached their injury maximum as they continue to mount ahead of Sunday's matchup with Houston. Four starters were ruled out for the game today by McD and it has Rob concerned against what seems to be an offense that can put points up in bunches with elite weapons. Speaking of elite weapons, Houston has someone who used to play for the Bills catching passes for them but Rob can't seem to remember his name, lol. In this episode, Rob & DT bask in our Bills' total domination of the Jacksonville Jaguars on MNF 47-10 in front of a raucous crowd at The Ralph. Then they turn their attention to the entire AFC as the Bills prepare for a tough 3 game stretch that may give us more answers to just how good this '24 team can be. Rob thinks Monday night's thrashing was reminiscent of Perfection In The Park and DT agrees as the Bills jumped on the Jags early and never let up scoring TD's on the first five drives to start the game. The defense did its part as well as McD continues to work whatever magic he seems to have as the reserves keep stepping up for the injured starters. The cover photograph for the second and final Richard Hell and the Voidoids album, Destiny Street features a woman standing in the background. For years, this woman was unfairly credited as "unknown woman." However, the truth is that the woman is Anne Militello, who would go on to become an accomplished lighting designer and professor and CalArts. Anne's journey began while working for the now infamous rapist Harvey Weinstein back when Weinstein and his brother were concert promoters in metro Buffalo. Seeking to leave The Nickel City but not yet prepared for New York City, she embarked on a five-day bus trip to San Francisco, packing a tin of pot brownies, which were completely consumed along the way. Upon arriving on the west coast, Anne leveraged her experience working with lights in college to gain work at a music venue. The manager who hired her was Sylvester, who later became a disco legend. One night outside the Magic Theater, she encountered a man dressed like a trucker who seemed to be out of place and ignored by her cohort of punker rockers. Feeling sympathetic, she struck up a conversation with him.  The man told her he was a playwright and wanted her to read his new play, which she and really liked. The trucker turned out to be Pulitzer Prize winner Sam Shepard and they became great friends. With Shepard's encouragement, she relocated to New York City and immersed herself in the theater scene. Over time, Anne established herself as a world-renowned lighting designer, working with luminaries such as David Lynch, Tom Waits, The Wooster Group, and Lou Reed. Today, Anne resides in Los Angeles, where she operates Vortex Lighting.

In this episode, Rob & Dump Truck preview the 2024 NFL Draft that is now just one week away. The fellas do the very first Nickel City Crew Mock Draft to end the show. The draft truly is a game of craps as even the experts routinely get it wrong. With that said, the Bills really need to nail this draft in what is shaping to be a pivotal year as the roster gets much younger. Brandon Beane said the Bills do not need a true WR1 to be a successful offense. Was he being serious or is that just gamesmanship as the draft approaches? Regardless of which WR prospect you prefer, it seems the draft process has now hit the stage of pointing out all of their flaws. From AD Mitchell all the way to the Xavier WR's, all are being placed under the microscope as we inch closer to next week. Mock Draft time!
