This is the audio from a YouTube video. If you want to see it, here's the link https://youtu.be/EW88gyBzhEU Since we are on hiatus from our live shows in the month of July, I put together this compilation as a tribute to one of my favorite guests and friend, Pete Carmichael, who passed away on July 21. These are his appearances on our show AG TODAY in part or in their entirety. If you'd like to watch the episodes in their entirety, they are listed below. EDITOR'S NOTE: These videos were downloaded from YouTube so you might find differences in audio quality and picture quality between clips.
Ralph was on ESPN 100.3 and the Sports Hangover in New Orleans with Gus Kattengell. Ralph is tired of people being mean to him about the TNT Saints Bountygate doc, plus he has a theory why Kubiak is more detail oriented coordinator than Pete Carmichael. With less than 2 months until the start of training camp for the Saints, we have had plenty of local opinions on what might happen in the 2024 season. Now, it's time to get a neutral expert from outside of the New Orleans area. How will Klint Kubiak's offense be different from Pete Carmichael? Will Derek Carr thrive, and will Taysom Hill play a larger role? Jim Derry has plenty of questions for one of the football world's top handicappers in Adam Chernoff, who joins Friday's Dattitude Podcast (Ep. 245) presented by Evangeline Securities. We also talk Saints over/under win totals, and Jim asks Adam for some surprise teams in the NFL this upcoming season. Spoiler alert: One of them is in the NFC South. Jim also talks a little about LSU baseball, and in the ‘Extra Point,' we go back 39 years to quite possible the most important day in the history of the Saints: The day Tom Benson bought the team for a measly $70.2 million.

The Denver Broncos and Sean Payton hired another former New Orleans Saints' employee on Tuesday, this side on the coaching staff, by bringing in Pete Carmichael as a senior offensive assistant. Is Payton's long-time offensive coordinator truly just an assistant or will he serve a much bigger role? Could this be a game-changing move for Payton and the Broncos' offense? Robinson's work with Matthew Stafford informs us of the success he could find with Derek Carr, meanwhile Zac Taylor's pure dropback offense may provide limitation for Pitcher. The New Orleans Saints made the tough decision to move on from Pete Carmichael and get into the offensive coordinator search. It's the right choice for the Saints' roster and playmakers and for Dennis Allen who goes into his last chance with the Saints in his third year. There are several great candidates out there in this year's NFL coaching cycle.Along with Carmichael, the Saints moved on from Kodi Burns and Bob Bicknell while Joel Thomas took the same running backs coach role with the New York Giants. And could the Saints be looking at a shift for Mickey Loomis and Khai Harley at general manager? Seems like a longshot, but something to watch.JOIN SUBTEXT: https://joinsubtext.com/lockedonsaintsFollow & Subscribe on all Podcast platforms…

The New Orleans Saints are in the market for an offensive coordinator for the first time in over a decade and there are outstanding candidates ready to take the helm. If the Saints want to see their offense improve from Pete Carmichael's 2022 and 2023, candidates like Zac Robinson, Klint Kubiak and Brian Hartline shoudl be atop their list along with the inside hire of Ronald Curry. Jon Gruden of course is till connected to the team as well. JOIN SUBTEXT: https://joinsubtext.com/lockedonsaints Follow & Subscribe on all Podcast platforms…
It's feeling like the New Orleans Saints are not long from making big moves on their coaching staff, and the offensive side of the ball, starting with Pete Carmichael is under the microscope. Could we see changes on the way for the Saints? How Jon Gruden and Ronald Curry fit in and what kinds of changes could we see on the way? Along with OC, the Saint should be looking to add more speed on their defensive line, improve their offensive line and perhaps even brace for a big trade or two. If the team is daring enough to take the risk of moving Marshon Lattimore, every team will be interested and the Saints need to make it worth it. Thankfully, there's no rush and the Saints themselves should be looking to strike a deal not to move him out, but get him on board and keep him in the building. The New Orleans Saints and Dennis Allen will gear up for year 3 in 2023. Allen gets another shot with his quarterback Derek Carr at the helm in what could be a very important year. What improvements must be made by Allen, around Allen and for Allen in order to improve going in to the next year? The Saints and Jon Gruden reportedly have mutual interest in adding him to the staff. If that happens, it might mean another year of Pete Carmichael. But we'd go a different direction with Ronald Curry.
