As neurodiversity becomes more understood and accepted in the 21st century, it seems natural to explore this not only with Holmes, but with other characters in the genre as well.  In The Autistic Sleuth, Christopher Chan and Patricia Meyer Chan, Ph.D., test the question: Is the entertainment industry celebrating neurodiversity or is it reinforcing stereotypes? They analyze how two dozen characters appearing in filmed productions from around the globe who are presented as atypical minds. We have Sherlockian news, as well as another round of the Canonical Couplet quiz. It's a super-easy one this time. He is truly a unique artist with a vision that is out of this world. I feel that many artists can learn from Chris’s journey because it’s inspiring. From growing up in Canada, going to art school in California, to working with Nike in Portland and now doing shows all throughout NYC, it’s really inspiring. Chris Chan Roberson is a 15-year veteran editor, digital content strategist, cinematographer, college professor and project manager. He has been teaching cinematography and editing at Tisch School of the Arts since 1999 and served as NYU’s Executive Director of Post Production for over two years. Currently he is the Freshman Area Head. Chris is a contributing writer for Comic Book Resources. He also edits professionally and has worked with such talents as Sting, Billy Eichner, Nick Kroll and Christian McBride. Currently he edits for the YouTube channel The Things and produces content for Kung Fu Tea and the New-York Historical Society. In 2006, Chris won a Telly Award for his editing work with Robert Small Entertainment, where he edited for Comedy Central, Nick at Nite and The Biography Channel. From 2012 through July 2014, Chris worked at YouTube. He helped emerging partners devise channel strategy, increase production value, and develop their brand. On a regular basis Chris worked with such YouTube channels as The Key of Awesome and VSauce3. In 2014, Chris conducted a TEDx Talk, titled “Modern Mavericks”.
