The only way to do “The Transported Man” is with a bloody good double, and the only way to do a proper episode of I Like To Movie Movie is with a bloody good co-host! That's right, Movie Movie is once again a two-hander! Stephen Richards of the Hot Property podcast is now the other half of I Like to Movie Movie, and for his inaugural episode he has chosen a movie that has inspired countless Michael Caine impressions: Christopher Nolan's THE PRESTIGE! So sit back, forgive the echo (I did my best to reduce it in post — the issue will be fully corrected for the next episode, but I couldn't bear to lose such a solid episode, so you'll just have to deal), and enjoy! Stick around after the break while we count down our favorite Hugh Jackman performances. Follow I Like to Movie Movie on Twitter and IG @moviemoviecast, and follow Hot Property @hotpropertypod. Comedian and host of the incredible I Like To Movie Movie podcast Dan Scully stops by to help us break down why Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho" was a great achievement in totally messing with the the audience. Did we see a boob? Whose side are we on? What was going on with the music? No seriously, did we see a boob or not? You have to tell us if we saw a boob. All those questions are answered on our HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR--Oh God we're not doing this all month.

Dan Scully is a writer, humorist, filmmaker, and script doctor who hails from South Philadelphia. After over a decade in the world of stand-up comedy, he moved into the worlds of writing and film — but typically with a comedic flair. He works as a film critic for MovieJawn.com, Phindie.com, and Cinema76.com. He also hosts the film podcast, I Like to Movie Movie, and the free-form silliness podcast Hot Property. Currently, he is developing a horror anthology film to be produced and shot in Philadelphia in late 2021 — his segment in the anthology will be his directorial debut. Jenna is joined by the only other person she's spent a significant amount of time with in Quarantine, Dan Scully of Cinema76.com and the I Like to Movie Movie Podcast! One of their Quarantine projects was to watch all of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, which sounded like a chore at first, but was actual way more delightful than either of them anticipated! They discuss Dead Man's Chest and At World's End while drinking hard seltzers and beer. New format! Jenna will be having guests on to talk about a Johnny Depp movie instead of talking to herself, unless she absolutely has to talk to herself because nobody remembers having watched The Astronaut's Wife! Business and Marketing Podcast with Dan Scully In this episode, we talk with Dan Scully of Vantage Point Communications. He is the owner of the company and has also been instrumental in helping Select Business Team grow. Over the years, Dan has started several new teams and provided great ideas for making changes that have improved our company. I'm honored at how much Dan has supported Select over the years and when he moved away, he was greatly missed. Now that he has settled in his new home, he realizes how much he missed our concept, so he's in the process of starting a Team on the eastern shore in MD. If you listened to episode 7, we talked about strategic partners and Dan uses his network of strategic partners not only for building his business but for creating opportunities for others. He's a connector and a creative! Three of my takeaways: Business owners often wear many hats which can inhibit growth so try to hire someone quickly to do some of the small tasks in your business Think about having a budget and a marketing plan so that you don’t miss opportunities Don’t let fear of failure keep you from starting a business. People learn from failure so if you surround yourself with the right Team, you’ll see greater success and less failure One of the most important components of today's discussion is having a business plan. Some of the concepts Dan discussed are essential in building a solid business especially when he moved to a new state and how that could help him grow quickly. If you are a business owner without a plan, check out our webinars 'Build, Grow and Ignite' which we offer once a month. You can check our webinar schedule on the events calendar. RESOURCES Episode 3 - Nicole Orisme - NLH Contracting - if you need help with hiring, this is a great episode ABOUT OUR GUEST - DAN SCULLY Dan is the owner of Vantage Point Communications and he provides business and non profits with marketing materials from give-aways to wearable branded apparel.
