"Yes, I'm in love. I dare." Oh this movie. I'm sobbing at the drop of a hat lately, and it turns out that a heart in love and cracked wide open is the perfect foil for Joe Wright's glorious, lush, emotional film, Cyrano. This sung-through musical makes the prettiest lovelorn cocoon, and Peter Dinklage and Haley Bennett are a revelation.https://www.confessionsofaclosetromantic.com/The rich, romantic look of the Cyrano movie is just as compelling as the lyrical choreography, music and acting. The main cast and director on the making of Cyrano. I am now truly, madly, deeply in love with Peter Dinklage, especially for his emotional singing, and Haley Bennett embodies pure passion and love as Roxanne. Glum. Lovelorn mood from yesterday carried over. Doesn't make sense, but that's the way it is. Yolo. Good laundry day. Kept the blinds down and worked in the half-light. Got a bunch of great sounding music from an end of year, best drone albums list. Very nice. Was super flat and thought I'd go to bed at 5 pm. Got a boost of energy and took a walk. Saw some ducklings and some fish from the footbridge. Very clear water today. Mucked around on the computer. Was thinking I wouldn't have a grateful the day early on, but the ducklings accelerating together was cute. The weather was pretty perfect. Beautiful colours in the afternoon. The song American Music by violet femmes made me feel a certain sort of a way. That was nice. Bin night. Home alone tonight. Eek! M: 2.5. E: 3.
Work. Ticked a couple projects off the list. Looks like a few things might finish in time for the end of this year. Fingers crossed. Day went quick. The freight train was half across the road for ages - blocking traffic, causing mayhem. The cops told me off for mentioning it on Twitter. Reported it to the fourth estate as well. Made an Insta filter. Probably won't get approved. Probably won't get any impressions, even if it does. Feeling a bit lovelorn because I was told this evening told that Sophie has a boyfriend now. Dang. YOLO though I guess. Sore back from working a long day yesterday. Wore my punchline jumper to the supermarket as a joke - to try to get a smile or laugh or a good-natured jeer from shoppers. M: 3. E: 3.
