Playing the title role and Dr. Evil, this film also introduced us to Fembots, Alotta Fagina, Frau Farbissina, and a host of other classic characters. Even more than the characters were the lines however. Yeah baby! Do I make you horny?! Oh behave! The film indeed left a memorable mark on comedy. Star of stage and screen, film and television, voice over and live action, Parvesh Cheena's list of credits is expansive -- and you've almost certainly seen or heard him in SOMETHING (Barbershop? Outsourced? Crazy Ex-Girlfriend? Mythic Quest? The Mandalorian?). Parvesh has carved out a place for himself as a character actor -- a position that has at times been a little lonely, and a little strange. As for seeing himself on screen? Even as a kid, he looked to some of the biggest, weirdest characters of them all: Danny Devito's Penguin in BATMAN RETURNS and Mike Myers as Dr. Evil in the AUSTIN POWERS movies.Michelle Pfeiffer whip stuntNiecy Nash-Betts's Emmys acceptance speech***With Jordan Crucchiola and Parvesh Cheena
Mark welcomes photographer, podcaster, and actor Garrick Hoffman to the show to discuss all the hilarity of Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, which came out 25 years ago on May 2, 1997. Garrick remembers watching this perfect sleepover movie as a kid over and over with his family, while Mark was giggling in the theater on a hot day at summer camp. They compare the Mike Myers film to James Bond, which it successfully spoofs, other popular 90s and early 2000s comedy, and even Borat. Plus, they discuss the connections to Demi Moore, Dana Carvey, and more!

25 years ago Mike Myers brought the world's grooviest and shagadelic spy to the big screen, Austin Powers. Heavily parodying the James Bond franchise, the film series has lasted as comedy gold with its use of physical gags, satire, word play, innuendo and hilarious stock characters. Chris and Taylor are joined by comedian Andrew Kennedy to discuss the three films, their favorite moments and the potential future for the International Man of Mystery.

This episode we rewatch the 1997 "classic" Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. A childhood favorite to both of us, we discuss how much we had rewatched this movie as a kid and how it was overly quoted for a good five years after it was released. (Who hasn't said 'yeah baby' at least once in their life?) We also go over the various dated references (Vanilla Ice on ice, anyone?) including how this movie was set in a Las Vegas that is almost unrecognizable twenty plus years later. As always we award our world famous awards to the best and the worst and decide if this favorite holds up to our adult standards.
