In this episode, Wolf of Wine brings his creative journey full circle with the final wine and hip-hop pairing from his Fat Bastard Wines collaboration: Fat Bastard Chardonnay paired with OutKast's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. After weeks of tastings, storytelling, and creative blocks—including the ongoing struggle not to default to an Ol' Dirty Bastard track—Jermaine shares how this pairing came together through inspiration, music, and deep appreciation for both wine and culture.Listeners will get a behind-the-scenes look at how the bold, expressive Chardonnay from France's Languedoc region mirrors the duality and innovation of the OutKast album. From the wine's ripe fruit and smooth texture to the album's genre-bending brilliance, this episode dives into how the worlds of wine and hip-hop reflect and elevate each other. What to expect:A breakdown of the Fat Bastard Chardonnay and its regional rootsA track-by-track connection to Speakerboxxx/The Love BelowInsights from Jermaine's creative process and pairing philosophyThe final chapter in a campaign that blends bold flavor with bold soundThis is the one he's been building toward. The troupe exchanged items and discovered proficiencies they had forgotten before approaching the deep caves. Del summoned the ghost of a Stonebreaker, who led them to the cave's hidden entrance, and Shadow Nemesis convinced the guards he was a cleric of Mask to gain access to the boss's chamber, where he was immediately turned to stone. Once the boss was revealed to be a Medusa and Jack Magnum was turned to stone too, Tyler began using Ivan's echolocation to see, and New Rogue summoned a giant Fat Bastard. Can Wet Change defeat a Medusa and claim the Icon of Ravenloft before the day ends or they're all turned to stone? Pat takes a well-earned break leaving Sean and Sam to discuss episodes 3 & 4 of #XMen97. The main topic of conversation is the breakneck speed at which the show is churning through storylines and whether or not we can keep up. Questions are asked about a potential downturn in quality and always, a #Mojo and #Jubilee themed episode will do nothing for our crew. However, comparisons were made to Mojo's weight loss of Jonah Hill and Fat Bastard. Truly #Storm continues to be a highlight, we fizz for #Forge and his short-shorts and Sean has to tirelessly explain the #GoblinQueen and the Summers family tree. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

So I Married an Axe Murderer came hot off the heels of the mega hit Wayne's World. Unfortunately for Mike Myers, it could not replicate the famous skit's success. Banking just north of $11 million, So I Married and Axe Murderer was a box office bomb. But any child of the 90s will tell you that it's still a damn good time. This is peak Myers, a time when his oddball characters were still funny. It's also his attempt to play the generic male lead. Aside from his dual role of Stuart, the curmudgeonly Scottish father of Charlie, he's just your average joe. The results of that attempt are mixed. Perhaps if they weren't, Myers wouldn't have made it his life's purpose to play increasingly bizarre characters. I guess, what I'm saying is: It's all our fault that The Love Guru happened. Damn us all to hell. Now, sit back, hack open a Fireside Chat from 21st Amendment Brewery, and help resuscitate the downed piper! I, the Thunderous Wizard (@WriterTLK), Capt. A grift too far? Shaun King, the white man who parades around as a black man grifting for Black Lives Matter, may have attempted one too many grifts when he took to social media to brag about his role in freeing Americans taken hostage by Hamas. King claims to have evidence that shows he worked with the brother of 17-year-old Natalie Raanan, who was released on Friday along with her mother. The problem for Shaun King is Natalie and her family released a statement saying that they've had no contact with King and he played no role in securing their freedom. King is a prime example of people whom Jason calls “narrative negroes.” “We've learned in the past 20 years ... that blackness isn't a skin color. It's a narrative. Narrative negroes are people — regardless of skin color — who devote their lives and public personas to advancing the narrative that American blacks are perpetual victims of white supremacy.” Jason unleashes his Fire-starter calling out King, Colin Kaepernick, Bubba Wallace, Nikole Hannah-Jones, Deion Sanders, and LeBron James for their relentless pursuit of “unapologetic blackness.” Delano Squires and Shemeka Michelle join the discussion. Plus, Stephen A. Smith is talking again. This time, he's requesting permission from his business partners to go “nuclear” on the man he calls Fat Bastard. Whitlock and Steve Kim discuss Steve's salvo in this ongoing feud. You know when you watch an old TV show or movie and think, “how tf did we think this was ok?” Remy and Emily get into just that on today's episode, re: fatphobia in Hollywood. They look back on shows that were all about weight loss and looks—Biggest Loser, The Swan—and wonder, how did they even cast for shows like this? This leads into a convo about the v problematic credits used in old Sex and the City episodes, before Remy and Emily debrief some famous fat-suit characters: Fat Monica in Friends, Bruce in Matilda, Fat Bastard in Austin Powers, just to name a few. Paddy McGrath is an enigma in coaching circles. That's because it's not easy to find coaches, at least in the US, who in the same session, you will find teaching a beginner how to hold a hammer for the first time one moment and directing a long time protégé, American record holder & Olympian the next. But that happens where Paddy coaches, and it happens often. Paddy was a 2000 Olympian for Ireland in the hammer throw and six time national champion for Ireland. As a coach, he has mentored 7 high school men to over 70m in the hammer. One of these throwers, Rudy Winkler, went on to break Lance Deal's long-standing US Men's record in the hammer throw, earning a spot on the 2021 US Olympic Team in the process. For a full bio on Paddy's accomplishments click https://gojaspers.com/sports/mens-track-and-field/roster/coaches/patrick-mcgrath/1844 (here). Morbid obesity is a condition in which you have a body mass index (BMI) higher than 35. BMI is used to estimate body fat and can help determine if you are at a healthy body weight for your size. BMI is not a perfect measurement but it does help give a general idea of ideal weight ranges for height. Adults with a BMI of 30 to 39.9 are considered obese. Adults with a BMI greater than or equal to 40 are considered extremely obese. Anyone more than 100 pounds (45 kilograms) overweight is considered morbidly obese. These ranges of BMI are used to describe levels of risk: Overweight (not obese), if BMI is 25.0 to 29.9. Class 1 (low-risk) obesity, if BMI is 30.0 to 34.9. Class 2 (moderate-risk) obesity, if BMI is 35.0 to 39.9. Class 3 (high-risk) obesity, if BMI is equal to or greater than 40.0. Intermittent fasting, also known as intermittent energy restriction, is an umbrella term for various meal timing schedules that cycle between voluntary fasting and non-fasting over a given period. Methods of intermittent fasting include alternate-day fasting, periodic fasting, and daily time-restricted feeding. What happens to your body when you fast 18 6? “Evidence is accumulating that eating in a six-hour period and fasting for 18 hours can trigger a metabolic switch from glucose-based to ketone-based energy, with increased stress resistance, increased longevity, and a decreased incidence of diseases." The study found that both an 18-hour and 20-hour fasting window worked equally well for weight loss by helping participants eat less without counting calories. With 19:5, you fast for 19 hours a day and have an eating window of five hours. Researchers say intermittent fasting diet can affect the way body burns and stores fat and energy. Researchers are touting a diet that involves fasting for 18 hours each day as a way to stop getting overweight and reducing the chances of contracting everything from cancer to diabetes and heart disease. Experts suggest that a person needs to follow the basic rules for at least 10 weeks to witness some positive results. Following the diet properly for this period of time will help you shed 3 to 5 kilos of weight (depending on your BMR). The original Austin Powers mmmmovie is 20 years old, which only leaves us with one question: Do we make you UNTy, baby? Episode 30 is upon us, and we've gone back to the swinging sixties, man. Well, and also the seventies, but the less said about Goldmember the better. As we wedding-tackled the winning topic of our shagadelic listener poll and dived mole-first into the Austin Powers Trilogy, a number of groovy topics poked out at us like Fat Bastard's turtle head. Jared celebrates his time at Evil Medical School, Derek bemoans the sequels for ruining the Austin Powers legacy, Greig reveals the only type of wood that doesn't float, and Tim explains why those Subway / Fat Bastard jokes haven't aged well. And of course we tried to answer the immortal question: Elizabeth Hurley, Heather Graham or Beyonce? (Hint: the real answer is Frau Farbissina.) All this and more on our latest Unfunny Nerd Tangent: Austin Powers. Hosted by: ‘Prime Minister of New Holland' Greig Tansley (@GreigT13). Featuring: ‘Dr. Evil' Jared Robinovitz (@superjew75), ‘Fat Bastard' Tim Agne (@timagne) and ‘International Mayor of Mystery' Derek Montilla (@cap_kaveman). Music by Quincy Jones & Johnny Rivers.
