Late Gulshan Kumar asked Mahesh Bhatt if he would be interested to make a film around these songs and instantly Mahesh ji said yes. So basically the Aashiqui movie was based on the Chahat album.   1942 A love story was Pancham Dada's last super duper hit album which he couldn't watch. And while recording the song ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' Pancham Dada told Kumar Sanu that in this song ‘Jaise' word has been used many times so he wanted ‘Jaise' word expression to be different every time. Wow dekha kitni interesting story hai.  Kumar Sanu also shared story behind his song ‘Tujhe Dekha Toh Ye Jaana Sanam' from the movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and woh secret ye hai ki Kumar Sanu ji ko pata hi nahi tha ki woh Lata Mangeshkar ji ke saath duet karne wale hai is song ke liye.
