Hey gang. It's interesting seeing men in my comments after making post about their heroes, Joe Rogan and Jordan Peterson. They seem to have a tough time simply interacting with women without angrily spouting their favorite talking points. I don't know what they think they'll get out of being unlikable and maladaptive but they seem to have really brought into the idea that being recalcitrant and standoffish is an attuted that will win friends and build relationships.

Writer Jessa Crispin rejects today's mainstreamed, neoliberal feminism, and calls for a return to feminism's radical promise: as a sharp-edged, outsider's social critique, as a challenge to the supremacy of capitalism, and as a path towards a radically reorganized society. https://www.mhpbooks.com/books/why-i-am-not-a-feminist/ https://abortionfunds.org/funds/

Pioneering New Zealand feminist, activist and former Green MP Sue Kedgley first came to public attention in the 1970s as an early, outspoken women's liberationist for femism. Her new book, Fifty Years a Feminist, details her journey and shares lessons drawn from her 50 years at the feminist coalface and the difficulties in changing attitudes that are almost embedded in our DNA.

This week we have shortened the name of "Domestic Violence Revelations with Erin Pizzey" to simply "Revelations with Erin Pizzey," both to make it easier to remember and to broaden the scope of the show's topic. A special note: We would like to dedicate this episode to our friend Andy Thomas of AVfM-UK, whose father Ray passed away suddenly this week. He had a son to be proud of, and our thoughts and condolences are with you, Andy. This week we have a very exciting episode of Revelations with Erin Pizzey: a panel discussion on feminism featuring Neil Lyndon, author of "No More Sex War"--and who also once wrote a scathing review of Erin Pizzey's work!--and Glen Poole, formerly of Fathers for Justice and now heading up the 3rd National Conference for Men and Boys in the UK. The topics we will consider: Is feminism a modern-day religion whose dogmas cannot be questioned? Is there anything good in modern feminism? What are the issues facing men and boys today, and is anything or anyone actually making a positive and measurable difference? Neil Lyndon's a skeptic; Glen Poole is an optimist; what do Erin and Dean think? You'll have to tune in to find out, and call in to give us your own opinion while you're at it! Show opening and closing music by Kevin McLeod. Directed by James Huff. Show starts at 4:00pm London time, 11:00am Eastern US time. We hope you can join us!
Tonight we have as our guests Scott Solly and Sean Campbell, two of the three correspondents covering the Mary Kellett disciplinary hearing in Portland Maine yesterday. After hearing pleas from AVFM's Girl Writes What and John the Other, Solly, Campbell and another man, Chris Caldwell, took time out of their daily lives to cover the event for us. They will give us an intimate eye witness account of the proceedings and reactions from Vladek Filler and Mary Kellett. We hope you can join us in welcoming Solly and Campell as well as in thanking them for answering our call to action on such short notice.
