'My Son Hunter' is a story that had to be told and our guest this episode was part of this process, Phelim McAleer, along with his wife Ann McElhinney, were the producers for this movie that introduces the debauched world of Hunter Biden to the public. Hearts of Oak have had the privilege of speaking with Garrett Zeigler whose organisation, Marco Polo, has been at the centre of exposing Hunter and his 'Laptop from Hell', and now all that hard work has made it to the big screen. Phelim has never shied away from the big controversial topics, as a journalist he simply follows the clues. He exposed the lies about fracking in his film 'FrackNation' and corrected climate change myths with 'Not Evil Just Wrong'. But with this film he is risking the ire of the most powerful man in the world, former vice president Joe Biden. Phelim McAleer is an award-winning journalist, filmmaker, public speaker, and podcaster. He is a New York Times best-selling author, a playwright and the creator of the verbatim podcasting genre. Phelim, with his wife Ann, are the producers of “My Son Hunter” as well as several other films, plays, and podcasts including FBI Lovebirds: Undercovers, FrackNation, The Ann & Phelim Scoop Podcast, The Harvey Weinstein Trial: Unfiltered Podcast, Mine Your Own Business, and Not Evil Just Wrong. Phelim has produced documentaries for the BBC, CBC (Canada) and RTE (Ireland), as well as two independent feature length documentaries. Before becoming a filmmaker, Phelim was a foreign correspondent for the Financial Times in Eastern Europe, he covered Romania and Bulgaria for The Economist and has covered Ireland for the UK Sunday Times. He began his career in journalism covering the Northern Ireland troubles first as a reporter in Crossmaglen (known as Bandit Country) and then for The Irish News in Belfast. Phelim and his wife Ann founded 'The Unreported Story Society' in 2017 with a mission to tell the stories that the mainstream media ignores through art and modern media. https://unreportedstorysociety.com/ “My Son Hunter” tells the story of the Biden Family Corruption through the eyes of Hunter Biden, starring Laurence Fox, John James and Gina Carano and directed by Robert Davi. https://mysonhunter.com/ Follow Phelim and Ann on Twitter https://twitter.com/PhelimMcAleer?s=20&t=e0tWkCcOo3Nu8dsRWoonkw https://twitter.com/annmcelhinney?s=20&t=SOJdGMjYpsdPWvr1h7NN_g https://twitter.com/AP_Scoop?s=20&t=SOJdGMjYpsdPWvr1h7NN_g Interview recorded 16.9.22 *Special thanks to Bosch Fawstin for recording our intro/outro on this podcast. Much of the mainstream media has ignored it.  All but one or two cable news networks ignored it.  The Huffington Post even admitted to deliberately ignoring it:  the arrest, trial, and conviction of notorious late-term abortionist Kermit Gosnell.  You don't have to have lived under a rock to be unaware of the most scandalously under-covered story of the decade--Kermit Gosnell, who for over 20 years routinely birthed babies past 24 weeks and killed them by severing their spinal chords with scissors, continues to be a purposefully ignored criminal not in the news. Today, there are efforts to put the story about this infant serial killer in a television movie dramatization that hopefully will inform and raise the consciences of a generation to what takes place in many abortion facilities.  Kermit Gosnell's business was not the only one, and his practice of infanticide is not isolated, despite what abortion defenders have claimed. TLFR welcomes Ann McElhinney to the show, one of the producers of the Gosnell film.  Ann and co-producer Phelim McAleer previously produced the highly successful film "FrackNation."  She will tell us about the vision for making a film about Kermit Gosnell and how you can be involved in making it happen. Actress Sam Sorbo will also be our guest.  Sam, wife of actor Kevin Sorbo and host of the Sam Sorbo Show, will talk about her personal support for the Gosnell film and the importance that she and her husband place on the potential impact of this film.
