David Bozell - From Rush Limbaugh to Digital Platforms: The Evolution of the Media Research Center

David Bozell discusses his family's conservative political background in Washington, D.C., and how his father helped launch the Media Research Center after earlier work with NCPAC. He describes the MRC's early years as resource-poor but focused on documenting media bias, including work at the 1988 conventions and support from donors and figures in conservative media. He also talks about the organization's relationship with Rush Limbaugh, saying MRC supplied clips and documentation that supported Limbaugh's on-air commentary. Bozell reflects on Limbaugh's influence and on how conservative media grew through talk radio and strong messaging. Bozell then explains how MRC's focus has shifted to digital platforms such as Apple News, Google News, Yahoo, and MSN, where he says the organization tracks the visibility of center-right voices. He closes by urging audiences to share content, contact news platforms about imbalance, and push for more conservative sources in mainstream distribution.   Connect with David

Sabin Howard - From WWI Memorial to Grand Liberty Arch: History, Art and God

Acclaimed sculptor Sabin Howard returns to Hearts of Oak to discuss his ambitious new project, the Grand Liberty Arch — the monumental follow-up to his National World War I Memorial, which was unveiled in Washington, D.C. in September 2024. Sabin shares how the Grand Liberty Arch, designed for America's 250th anniversary and slated for unveiling before the 2034 Winter Olympics in Utah, celebrates freedom, liberty, personal agency, and self-responsibility.  He explains why he chose to create the work independently in Utah after being granted land at the state capitol, and how raising over $2.3 million through a charitable foundation has allowed him to move forward with this massive bronze sculpture — three times the size of his previous memorial. Sabin also dives deep into his artistic philosophy, contrasting his classical, Renaissance-inspired approach — which elevates human dignity and tells a story like a “bronze movie” — with much of today's modern art.  He speaks openly about the spiritual dimension of his work, the role of faith in giving him courage as an artist, and why he believes art should be public, purposeful, and rooted in the belief that human beings are made in the image of God. A compelling look at one artist's mission to restore meaning, beauty, and heroism to public sculpture in America. Sabin Howard grew up in New York City and in Torino, Italy. He studied art at the Philadelphia College of Art and then earned his MFA from the New York Academy of Art.  For twenty years, he taught at the graduate and undergraduate levels. He has been elected to the board of the National Sculpture Society.  He has received numerous commissions and has showed his work at more than fifty solo and group shows. After 72,000 hours of working from life models in the studio, Sabin designed and created the hero's journey that memorializes the courage and sacrifice of our veterans in WWI, and in all wars, in A Soldier's Journey. He has created an illustrious body of work, including three heroic scale pieces, HERMES, APHRODITE, and APOLLO, as well as many smaller pieces.  His works are owned by museums and private collectors all over the world, and they have been favorably reviewed by USA Today, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Epoch Times, American Artist, Fine Arts Connoisseur, American Arts Collector, and The New Criterion, as well as many other journals internationally.  He is an accomplished public speaker and is the subject of several television profiles. Rabbi Pesach Wolicki returns to Hearts of Oak to explore core Jewish theological concepts and key differences with Christianity. He explains the covenant and the law as the means by which Israel lives out God's will as a “kingdom of priests,” the essential role of rabbinic interpretation in applying biblical commandments across time, and the balance between fixed, collective Jewish liturgy and personal prayer. Rabbi Wolicki contrasts Judaism's primary emphasis on national redemption with Christianity's focus on individual salvation and the afterlife, reflects on insights gained from Christian engagement, and discusses the enduring covenant through exile and the prophetic significance of the Jewish return to the land in modern Israel. Rabbi Pesach Wolicki is an Orthodox rabbi, author, and Executive Director of Israel 365 Action. Born in the United States and raised in Canada as the son of a rabbi, he moved to Israel in the early 1990s. Orla Minihane shares how protests erupted in her quiet Essex community after 135 unvetted asylum-seeking men were moved into the Bell Hotel near several schools. She explains how a sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl became a turning point, leading local mothers — including herself — to form the Pink Ladies movement.  Wearing pink to reframe the protests as a safeguarding issue rather than a political one, the group quickly spread to hotel protests across the country.  Orla discusses the media backlash, the personal threats faced by the women involved, and her journey from local activism into politics — from joining Reform UK to supporting Rupert Lowe and Restore Britain.  A candid conversation about women's and children's safety, mass immigration, cultural integration, and political accountability. Orla Minihane is a London-born mother of three living in Essex, near Epping. She became a prominent voice in the UK's grassroots protest movement after local concerns over asylum seekers being housed in the Bell Hotel near schools escalated following a sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl. Orla helped establish the Pink Ladies — a women-led safeguarding group that began wearing pink to reframe protests as a matter of protecting children and communities. The movement has since spread to hotel protests across the country. She is a vocal advocate for women's and children's safety, immigration reform, and cultural preservation. Rebecca Hardy, a speech language pathologist, witnessed firsthand the impact of vaccine injuries in children – experiences that sparked her passion for medical freedom activism. As one of the original founders of Texans for Vaccine Choice, she has helped lead the organization from concept to statewide influence. Rupert Lowe's Rape Gang Report: The Truth About 250,000 Abused British Girls and Failed Multiculturalism This episode Peter delivers a detailed overview and review of Rupert Lowe's independent, survivor-led Rape Gang Inquiry Report — a 219-page investigation into organized child sexual exploitation across the United Kingdom. Drawing on testimonies from survivors, whistleblowers, experts, campaigners, and former professionals, the report examines the scale of grooming and group-based child sexual exploitation that has affected dozens of local authority areas (149 out of roughly 380) over decades.  It presents the abuse as a widespread national problem rather than isolated local scandals, with strikingly similar methods used in towns and cities across the country: targeting vulnerable girls as young as 11 with gifts, alcohol, and drugs, followed by taxi transport to flats, hotels, and houses for repeated rape, trafficking, violence, blackmail, and in some cases forced conversion to Islam. Peter explores the report's findings on catastrophic institutional failures. Police, social services, schools, the NHS, taxi licensing bodies, and local authorities repeatedly ignored clear warning signs, treated victims as prostitutes or “consenting,” closed cases prematurely, destroyed or lost evidence, and returned children to their abusers.  A central theme is how fear of accusations of racism or Islamophobia paralyzed action and contributed to the cover-up that allowed the abuse to continue for years. Peter also covers the report's analysis of the perpetrators and context, including the strong over-representation of Muslim Pakistani men among those convicted in group-based cases (over 90% bearing distinctively Muslim names, overwhelmingly of Pakistani heritage), and the failure of authorities to properly record or discuss ethnicity and religion. Finally, the episode outlines the report's key recommendations for reform, including:  - Tougher sentencing (life imprisonment as the starting point for group-based child sexual exploitation, with minimum terms of 50 years for ringleaders and 25 years for participants) - Automatic deportation of foreign national offenders and loss of citizenship for dual nationals - Mandatory recording of offender ethnicity and religion - Stronger protections for child witnesses - A national compensation scheme for victims - A new flagship Childhood Sexual Protection Act This is a clear, unflinching summary of one of the most comprehensive independent examinations of grooming gangs in the UK to date — a call for accountability, justice, proper data collection, and urgent systemic change to protect children.  The Rape Gang Inquiry Report: bit.ly/4uE5odw Rupert Lowe on

Through free ultrasounds, practical support (maternity clothes, baby supplies, housing, and medical care), and compassionate counseling, Preborn has helped save over 80,000 babies in a single year. Steiner emphasizes that Preborn's mission pairs life-saving work with sharing the gospel, helping women and their children find not only physical rescue but eternal hope in Christ.  He also discusses the shift in the abortion industry toward online chemical abortions and how Preborn has adapted with digital outreach, phone counseling, and telehealth to reach women earlier.
