In this episode of The Mel K Show, I am joined by two incredible patriots who have been fighting a battle most Americans did not realize was underway. My good friend Sam Sorbo and Kelly Walker, co-founders of Parents Demanding Justice Alliance, are here to expose the truth about what happened when the federal government decided to target concerned parents across the country. Many remember the now-infamous memo from Attorney General Merrick Garland labeling parents who spoke out at school board meetings as domestic threats. What most people do not know is that this went far beyond political posturing. The Department of Justice involved the FBI and used federal resources to intimidate, investigate, and silence parents whose only “offense” was defending their children and exercising their First Amendment rights. Sam and Kelly share how they uncovered internal emails that prove federal officials were warned by their own legal advisors that these actions infringed on constitutional rights. Despite this, they moved forward, claiming they were only concerned about “violent” parents—yet there was no evidence of violence.
