Is America Plugging the Hole or Arguing While We Sink? | Go Right with Peter BoykinWelcome back to Go Right with Peter Boykin, The Constitutionalist for Liberty, where perspective meets reality and truth comes before comfort. In this powerful episode, we dive into the growing feeling across America that we are arguing about everything except the actual problems in front of us. Using the metaphor of a ship taking on water, this episode explores how political debates, media narratives, and institutional reactions often focus more on tone and perception than real solutions. From the federal level in Washington to state leadership and down to local communities like those across North Carolina, this discussion examines how accountability is being replaced by deflection, how citizens raising concerns are sometimes labeled as the problem, and how systems can fail when responsibility is outsourced instead of embraced. What happens when unity becomes obedience? When transparency becomes optional? And when debate becomes a substitute for action? This episode breaks down how a Constitutional Republic is designed to function through accountability at every level of government and why civic responsibility is essential to maintaining liberty. Whether you are watching national politics, state legislation, or local county decisions affecting development, infrastructure, education, and community planning, the core question remains the same: are we fixing the problems, or just arguing while the water rises?Go Right is not about party or tribe. It is about direction. Choosing truth over applause, responsibility over comfort, and action over performative outrage. Because boats do not sink from criticism, they sink from leaks ignored.Watch and Listen:https://rumble.com/v760s2i-is-america-plugging-the-hole-or-arguing-while-we-sink-go-right-with-peter-b.htmlhttps://youtu.be/Sf8epwkvUHMhttps://www.spreaker.com/episode/is-america-plugging-the-hole-or-arguing-while-we-sink--70176704Visit and follow:https://gorightnews.com/is-america-plugging-the-hole-or-arguing-while-we-sink/Watch more episodes and join the movement by following and subscribing. It Walks Like a Duck, But They Still Say It's Not | Is Reality Being Rewritten in This Election Cycle? What happens when the same facts produce completely different realities? What happens when perspective becomes more powerful than evidence? In this Go Right commentary, Peter Boykin breaks down one of the biggest problems shaping today's political climate: truth is no longer debated, it is selected. From federal election narratives and media framing, to state-level power struggles and local government decisions that directly affect your schools, taxes, land use, and public safety, the same pattern keeps repeating. People are not asking what is true. They are asking who benefits if it is true.As national headlines dominate the conversation, identity often filters facts before logic ever gets a chance. Candidates are framed as existential threats or flawless saviors. Policies are judged by party before principle. Even at the local level, where county commissioners and school boards make decisions that shape daily life, national tribal politics bleeds downward and distorts basic reality. This article examines how perspective without honesty becomes distortion, how loyalty without logic becomes propaganda, and how a Constitutional Republic depends on citizens willing to call things what they are. Not because it is convenient. Not because it helps one side. But because truth does not change based on preference. You do not have to like the duck. But pretending it is not a duck will never change the sound of the quack.Go Right is not about blind partisanship. It is about clarity, accountability, constitutional limits on power, and independent thinking from federal elections to state policy battles to local community decisions.Watch and Listen:https://rumble.com/v75z4o0-it-walks-like-a-duck-but-they-still-say-its-not-is-reality-being-rewritten-.htmlhttps://youtu.be/q0SS3KtFcSQ?si=I1G94E0uz0KHJgSfhttps://www.spreaker.com/episode/it-walks-like-a-duck-but-they-still-say-it-s-not-is-reality-being-rewritten-in-this-election--70147818Read more and follow the movement:https://gorightnews.com/it-walks-like-a-duck-but-they-still-say-its-not/Listen and Subscribe on Rumble, YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, and Spreaker.Follow on Truth Social, X, Facebook, GAB, TikTok, and Telegram.Support independent media that holds power accountable. Is America Still Run by the People or Just Managed by Power?GoRightNews Shared by Peter BoykinAmerican Political Commentator | Citizen Journalist | Activist | Constitutionalist for LibertyWelcome to #GoRight with Peter Boykin.America is facing a moment of deep reflection. Citizens still believe in the promise of the republic, yet trust in institutions continues to erode. In this episode and article, Peter Boykin explores whether America remains governed by the will of the people or whether power has shifted toward bureaucracies, institutions, and narrative-driven systems that shape outcomes before voters ever have a voice. This discussion challenges both sides of the political spectrum, examining how expanding systems of control, cultural division, and curated outrage impact civic responsibility, independent thinking, and the future of a Constitutional Republic. Rather than focusing on party loyalty, this commentary centers on constitutional principles, personal accountability, and the role of engaged citizens in preserving self-government.Go Right is more than politics. Candidates are positioning themselves, narratives are being sharpened, and the atmosphere is becoming more aggressive. "We all love Thomas Paine. We just wish we liked him." — Jonathan TurleyJonathan Turley's new book asks a deceptively simple question: why did the American Revolution become the longest-running successful democracy while the French Revolution devoured itself? The answer, he argues, lies in Madison's "auxiliary precautions" — constitutional safeguards designed not to eliminate rage but to channel it. Turley draws a direct line from Robespierre to today's calls to pack the Supreme Court and abolish the Senate, warning that removing those precautions invites the same mobocracy that sent the Jacobins to the guillotine. But the real provocation comes in the book's second half: with AI and robotics threatening mass unemployment, America may soon face a "kept population" — citizens subsidized by the state who lose their vital relationship to productivity and self-governance. We discuss Thomas Paine (brilliant about humanity, clueless about humans), why rage itself isn't the enemy, and whether the republic built to handle the 18th century can survive the 21st.About the GuestJonathan Turley is the Shapiro Professor of Public Interest Law at George Washington University Law School. Is America running out of time for a true grand bargain, or are we already playing past the whistle? In today's show, The Right Side, we go beyond headlines and into the hidden architecture of power that shapes nations, markets, and everyday life. This episode breaks down why markets move on confidence, not just data, how the Federal Reserve and U.S. Treasury operate as two separate keys to the same financial system, and why **legitimacy — not force — is what ultimately holds a Republic together. We explore how money, law, and meaning interact to create stability or chaos, why unelected institutions shape daily life more than most people realize, and how global actors read America's internal signals as cues for pressure, testing, and leverage. This is a civic deep-dive for listeners who want more than talking points — a master-class in understanding how power really works inside a constitutional Republic.
In today's episode of The Right Side with Doug Billings, Doug cuts through the noise surrounding government shutdowns, criminal referrals, and viral political claims to focus on something deeper: standards. What does a partial government shutdown actually mean — and why did the Founders design the system to slow power instead of accelerate it? What is a criminal referral, what it isn't, and why a Republic never confuses a request for review with a verdict.Doug introduces a practical, citizen-level framework for separating allegations from evidence, explains how investigative “files” really work, and walks listeners through the Evidence Ladder — from rumor to conviction. This is a calm, civic conversation about proof, due process, and why a free society survives not on volume, pressure, or outrage — but on standards that protect both the innocent and the truly wronged. If you believe truth should come before trends and justice should come before the crowd, this episode is for you.Support the show

Before facts are known, narratives harden. Before investigations finish, labels are assigned. Before empathy has a chance, ideology takes over. This episode confronts the uncomfortable truth that both the left and the right are guilty of the same reflex: turning loss into leverage, death into validation, and uncertainty into absolute certainty. It asks the question few want to answer:What happens to a Constitutional Republic when rage replaces restraint, and sides replace humanity? This is not a defense of any faction. It is a challenge to all of them.Topics explored:• Why tragedy now fuels tribal conflict• How instant certainty destroys due process• The danger of labeling before investigations conclude• Why free speech, restraint, and evidence still matter• How both extremes mirror each other more than they admitIf America cannot slow down long enough to demand truth before judgment, then the greatest danger isn't polarization. It's normalization.

Is the Republican Party Protecting Liberty or Policing Identity to Feel Comfortable?#GoRight with Peter Boykin CommentaryListen and Watch: https://rumble.com/v744v8c-is-the-republican-party-protecting-liberty-or-policing-identity-to-feel-com.htmlhttps://youtu.be/dVgaB20QDa0https://www.spreaker.com/episode/is-the-republican-party-protecting-liberty-or-policing-identity-to-feel-comfortable--69433132Read more: https://gorightnews.com/is-the-republican-party-strong-enough-to-survive-its-own-gatekeepers/ A Constitutional Republic does not survive by demanding silence from those who expose its contradictions. It survives when citizens are willing to challenge their own side before power hardens into habit and habit hardens into authority. What we are witnessing inside the Republican Party right now is not a fight between conservatives and liberals. It is a struggle between constitutional principles and institutional comfort. Between liberty as a boundary on government and tradition being repurposed as a tool of enforcement.Part of this conflict comes from a growing confusion over what “conservative” even means. For some, conservatism has become a matter of religion. For others, it has merged into an identity defined by being “anti woke,” which too often collapses into being reflexively anti gay rather than constitutionally grounded. These views are usually sincerely held, but sincerity does not automatically make them compatible with constitutional limits. For people like me, those versions of conservatism can feel less like a philosophy and more like a warning label. My conservatism is different. To me, conservatism means conserving our system of government and conserving our way of life through the framework of the Constitution and conserving limits on power so that no political majority, cultural trend, or moral panic can turn rights into privileges. That is why I reject the idea that being openly gay, unapologetically visible, and outspoken about equal protection somehow places me outside the conservative movement. The Constitution does not require me to shrink myself to fit a political coalition. It requires the government to restrain itself from choosing winners and losers under the law.I also reject the framing that says my identity should not “matter” to be accepted. That argument sounds reasonable until you follow it to its logical conclusion. If identity truly does not matter, then it should never be used as justification for denying civil rights, redefining marriage through the state, or carving exceptions into constitutional guarantees. Some Republicans say, “I am an American first.” So am I. That is precisely why I will not accept a government that treats some Americans as provisional.Conservatism was never meant to be a permission structure. It was meant to be a limit. A limit on how far the state can go into our lives, our families, our contracts, and our choices. When a party platform begins to sound like a moral licensing board instead of a constitutional restraint, something fundamental has gone wrong. This is not about rejecting family values. Strong families exist across this country in many forms. They raise children, pay taxes, build communities, serve this nation, and contribute to its stability. The state does not strengthen families by narrowing their definition. It strengthens families by getting out of the way and allowing civil society to function freely. And when organizations inside the party decide they get to determine who is “acceptable,” who is “too loud,” or who must be sidelined for refusing to conform, that is not unity. That is controlled opposition wearing a friendly label.I will work with anyone acting in good faith to expand liberty. I will oppose anyone, regardless of party, who treats constitutional rights as conditional.Because if we only defend liberty when it is comfortable, then we do not believe in liberty at all. That is the conservatism I stand for. Not religious rule. Not ideological purges. Not culture war loyalty tests.A conservatism that conserves the Constitution itself.Watch, listen, and read the full analysis at GoRightNews.com.#GoRight, #GoRightWithPeterBoykin, #GoRightNews, #ConstitutionalRepublic, #Conservatism, #RepublicanParty, #Gatekeepers, #EqualProtection, #FreeSpeech, #PoliticalCommentary, #SpokenWordPolitics, #CivilLiberty, #LimitedGovernment, #ConservativeDebateBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/goright-with-peter-boykin-gorightnews-com--3096608/support.

Supporters are calling it a conservative win. Critics are calling it scientifically ignorant. But the real story is deeper and far more important. This is not just a gender debate. It is a debate about state power, individual liberty, and constitutional restraint. From a Constitutional Republic perspective, the question is simple but uncomfortable:Does limited government mean less authority over personal identity, or only less authority when it is politically convenient? We examine where the state has legitimate authority over taxpayer funding and where it crosses the line into defining citizens for administrative convenience. We discuss the biological reality of intersex individuals, the difference between refusing public funding and regulating private life, and why conservatives weaken their own principles when they invite government into personal identity. This episode challenges both sides to slow down and ask the hard question Republicans often avoid:If the government can define identity today because it feels “common sense,” what stops it from redefining liberty tomorrow? This is not culture war commentary. It is a constitutional analysis. It is not about approval. It is about restraint. And it is a reminder that liberty erodes quietly when power is normalized selectively.Watch, share, and decide whether we are defending conservatism or redefining it out of convenience.#GoRight with Peter BoykinGoRightNews.com#GoRight, #NorthCarolina, #ConstitutionalRepublic, #LimitedGovernment, #IndividualLiberty, #CivilRights, #GovernmentOverreach, #CommonSense, #AccountabilityBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/goright-with-peter-boykin-gorightnews-com--3096608/support.

In this special 23-minute episode of The Right Side with Doug Billings, we slow down the noise and restore a standard that built the American Republic: evidence over emotion, due process over mob logic, and truth over narrative. With the latest release of so-called “Epstein files” dominating headlines and social media, Doug walks listeners through what those documents actually are — and what they are not. From understanding the difference between allegations, investigative notes, and corroborated evidence, to explaining how real investigations work, this episode equips citizens with a clear framework for evaluating claims without becoming captive to viral narratives. This is not a show about protecting the powerful. It's a show about protecting the people — and the standards that keep a free nation free.If you care about justice, constitutional principles, and the survival of the Republic in an age of screenshots and outrage, this is a conversation you won't want to miss.Support the show

Kansas just became a case study in how political power operates without a single vote ever being taken. In this episode of The Right Side with Doug Billings, Doug breaks down the quiet mechanics of leadership control, procedural power, and why grassroots movements often lose battles that never reach the floor. This isn't about party labels. It's about visibility, accountability, and who really governs between elections. You'll hear: • Why controlling the calendar can be more powerful than winning a vote • How “we don't have the votes” becomes a political strategy • What redistricting actually signals about future representation • The tension between leadership stability and grassroots accountability • Why civic memory matters in a constitutional republicIf you care about transparency, institutional power, and the future of local and state governance, this conversation is for you. We're in this together, folks. In this episode of The Right Side with Doug Billings, we go beyond the headlines to explore what actually holds a free nation together when protest becomes pressure, law becomes optional, and politics starts replacing moral limits. We examine the difference between grassroots movements and engineered activism, the role of institutions in shaping legitimacy, and why ethics must come before ideology in a constitutional republic. This is a long-form, America-first civic conversation about faith, freedom, persuasion, and the quiet strength of self-governance — designed to inform, challenge, and equip listeners who care about the future of the United States, not just the next news cycle.
In today's episode of The Right Side with Doug Billings, we examine a growing national tension: what happens when the enforcement of federal law becomes a political flashpoint. From Minnesota to Washington, debates over immigration enforcement, federal authority, and local resistance are no longer just policy disagreements — they are tests of constitutional order, sovereignty, and public trust.Doug breaks down how law, legitimacy, and narrative collide in moments of national stress, why selective enforcement erodes civic stability, and what history shows happens when legal authority becomes negotiable. This is not about headlines. It's about the structure underneath them.Believe it. For the Republic! Cheers.Support the show

Someone asks where the money went. Someone else shouts, “Fully fund the schools.” And just like that, accountability is treated as heresy. Here is the truth many officials do not want to admit: funding without accountability is not compassion. It is negligence with a friendly slogan.Public money is not a donation jar. It is a trust. When citizens see increased funding approved again and again, followed by system-wide failures like mold and HVAC breakdowns, the proper response is not silence. It is scrutiny. That scrutiny is not cruelty. It is a responsibility.HVAC systems do not fail everywhere at once. Mold does not spread across districts by accident. These failures point to deferred maintenance, misaligned priorities, and leadership decisions that deserve examination. Pretending otherwise insults the intelligence of the people paying the bills.Across North Carolina and across the country, this same story repeats. Warning signs are ignored. Concerns are dismissed. Emergencies follow. Then officials demand more money and accuse skeptics of being anti-education.That is not leadership. That is avoidance. In a Constitutional Republic, authority flows upward from the people. Auditing the government is not rebellion. It is the mechanism that prevents collapse. What makes these failures worse is the refusal to learn from citizens who spoke up early. Leadership that listens only after disaster strikes is not proactive. It is reactive. And reactive governance is always more expensive and more destructive.Taxpayers are not asking for perfection. They are asking for honesty. They want leaders who can say, we failed here, here is what we learned, and here is how we will prevent it from happening again.Supporting education and demanding accountability are not opposites. They are inseparable. One without the other is a lie.If schools want lasting public trust in Alamance County, across North Carolina, and nationwide, transparency is not optional. It is the price of legitimacy. That is not anti-education.That is not anti-teacher.That is pro student, pro taxpayer, and pro citizen. That is Go Right.Follow more local accountability reporting at GoRightNews.com and GoRightNC.com.#GoRight,#GoRightNC,#GoRightNews,#LocalElectionsMatter,#EvictionsCrisis,#CostOfLiving,#HousingAffordability,#AlamanceCounty,#NorthCarolina,#RealIssues,#LocalLeadership,#CountyPolitics,#VoteLocal,#CivicResponsibility,#CommunityStabilityBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/goright-with-peter-boykin-gorightnews-com--3096608/support.

Across America — and right here in Kansas — the political establishment is cutting We the People out of the process of governance. In this episode of The Right Side, Doug Billings exposes a dangerous and growing pattern: major decisions being made behind closed doors, without public votes, without transparency, and without consent. From government fraud buried by the media, to election systems that resist scrutiny, to global institutions operating without accountability — and finally to the Kansas City Chiefs deal pushed forward by political elites without giving Kansans a voice — this episode connects the dots. This is not about football. It's not about party labels. It's about process, power, and consent.A republic does not fall overnight. It erodes when the people are excluded. If we reward this behavior, we will get more of it.Support the show
News and commentary from host Mark Call, for the week ending December 13th, 2025. The war by the Deep State, with direction from Venezuela and other communists, with the Constitutional Republic continues. But the battle has been joined, and more of the treachery is being revealed daily. What will AmeriKans put up with? And are they paying attention to the tell-tale signs of dollar meltdown as well?
News and commentary from host Mark Call, for the first week of December, 2025. Are AmeriKans really as clueless as the Far Left and their Fake News want you to believe? Evidently is is “Democracy” that is at war with the Constitutional Republic.
GDP, the Constitution, and Production The U.S. is NOT a democracy. It is a Constitutional Republic. We talk about what that means. We talk about government promises, red tape, and the end of the shutdown. We also talk about GDP and how it is not a good measure of actual production, especially when it adds in government spending. Where do our tax dollars go? Frequently they are spent on things we would not want our money spent on. What are you doing to protect yourself financially? In a letter to William Stephens Smith, the son-in-law of John Adams, dated November 13, 1787, Thomas Jefferson wrote, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." These words came from the first hand knowing of the cost of war and the blood that had to be spilled. Our veterans know this cost; they understand these words not as words but as a way of life. The wisdom of war was unavoidable in the colonial days. Today, the wisdom of war rests with the few that have served. Our once robust and brash young country has been lassoed and roped into a Gordian knot over the last hundred years or so. We are only beginning to see a shift since Trump authorized Tom Holman to implement return-to-sender policies on the millions of illegal aliens who have crossed into the US. Likewise, our American boys have been burdened with so many false concepts about culturally acceptable rules of conduct, while being viewed with negative expectations, that many boys and young men have built a shell for themselves and crawled inside. In earlier episodes, we have examined issues faced by American girls, here, here, and here. And there are many. Today, we spoke with J. J. Carrell, a former Border Patrol Officer, patriotic American, and Christian. He voiced what we believe many Americans feel: Can traditional America ever be recovered? Can the Constitutional Republic created by our Founders be rescued? And most importantly, who will do the rescuing? The election of President Trump has provided us all with an opportunity to turn the American ship around and begin the process of reclaiming America. But one man cannot rescue the entire nation. And like a great ocean liner, the ship of America won't be able to turn on a dime. Saving America will take decades. Saving America is a calling and an odyssey that many generations will need to embrace if it is to come to pass. Our generations—we grandparents, and J.J.'s generation currently raising young men and women, can fight to strip away the false expectations, the unscientific cultural concepts (there really are only two sexes), the barbaric medical and technological procedures, from genital mutilation of our young to electroshock and psychosurgery, various implants, and technical advances designed to alter humans into transhumans—who despite the claims are neither “superior” “superintelligent” or “transcendent” to natural human beings. Our children and our children's children will still be fighting to fully reclaim liberty and freedom to be their normal, strongest selves. They need the lies stripped away and truths about human nature affirmed. The masculine nature of boys becoming men needs to be affirmed and honored. Strong, courageous, tenacious men, able to protect and care for a family, are needed. Likewise, the miraculous natural gift of conception, birth, and nurturing the next generation, which is the endowment of girls, needs to be acknowledged and respected. Strong, prevailing, nurturing women, able to raise their next generation within a core family with their husbands by their sides, will be needed. America needs to cut the Gordian Knot of globalist totalitarian assault on strong individuals and families: Strand by strand, slicing regulations, false concepts, debilitating expectations, demoralizing concepts, and destructive laws. We may not get this done, but this is what we must attempt to save America.
All government powers in this country are limited by the Constitution. The Constitution is our framework. Well right now, the Constitution doesn't even matter. We have a president who is raising taxes because his feelings are hurt, nobody stops him, even though the Constitution makes clear he has no power over tariffs. None. But he does it anyway. We are a nation built on a root of faith in Christ Jesus. We are nation today that has walked away from God and then acts puzzled why our Constitutional Republic is under so much threat. We rely on the political narratives of division to define our reactions to events and each other, instead of the instructions of forgiveness and peace given to us by Jesus. We enjoy hating and are slow to loving. We are more concerned about world politics than the plight of our youth and of our children. We celebrate the peace of Gaza after a literally genocide of children, yet turn a blind eye to the genocide on unborn and children's innocence that is being waged here in our country. Time to get real. Time follow the way of Christ. What is the difference between a republic and a democracy and why is it important
Communism, Control, and the Constitution Today we talk about the mayoral candidate for the city of New York, Zohran Mamdani, and how the ideas that he wants to bring to New York are not new, have been tried before with disastrous results, and have not helped the people he claims to want to help. If people want a better life for themselves and their families, they can use their drive to create value, and the world will pay them for the value they provide. The U.S. has been the best at bringing people out of poverty under the Constitutional Republic is was set up to be. Capitalism may sound difficult to some because you have to work for what you want but you also get to keep what you worked for.
