The arrested suspect reportedly claimed that Allah had commanded him to carry out the attack, although the precise motive remains under investigation.  How many times are we expected to watch scenes like these before mainstream politicians admit that Europe has a serious problem with Islamist extremism?  They lecture ordinary people about diversity. They warn us about our language. They appear terrified of being accused of racism or Islamophobia. But where is their courage when women are being stabbed in the street or gay people are apparently targeted at Pride celebrations? It increasingly feels as though terrorist atrocities and extremist violence are being treated as acceptable collateral damage in the political establishment's pursuit of uncontrolled migration and multiculturalism at any cost. Let me make the distinction absolutely clear: A Muslim is a follower of a religion. An Islamist is a political extremist who wants religious ideology imposed upon society. Millions of peaceful, law-abiding Muslims reject terrorism and want to live freely in modern Western democracies. They must never be confused with radical Islamists who despise our freedoms, intimidate women, persecute gay people and seek to undermine liberal democracy. But refusing to make that distinction—and refusing to confront Islamist fascism—is not tolerance. It is cowardice.  There is growing anger throughout Western Europe. Ordinary people can see what is happening, yet mainstream politicians continue to avoid the issue. They promise to control illegal immigration, defend our borders and protect the public—but nothing fundamentally changes. Why? On Thursday's Mark Levin Show, WJNO's Brian Mudd fills in for Mark. Two major SCOTUS decisions on border security today. First, the Court ruled 6-3 that you have to be in the U.S. to make an asylum claim. In the other, the Court again ruled 6-3 that the Trump Administration can revoke temporary protection status from Syrian and Haitian migrants. The three liberal justices tried to argue that you don't actually have to be "in" the U.S. to make an asylum claim, and "temporary" actually means indefinitely. Does the rule of law mean anything to these justices? Could it be that they are radical progressives who don't know right from wrong and want to abolish Constitutional law? Then, most people today don't appreciate the historically great leadership we have or how much has been accomplished in a short time. Since January, he has split off Venezuela from China and disabled the Iranian terror regime and their ability to build nuclear weapons and start World War III. The focus has been on affordability. Consider that 100 years ago, during the Roaring Twenties, people thought things were great. Now, average life expectancy and household income are higher, we have things like indoor plumbing, electricity and A/C, and China has been kneecapped thanks to Trump cutting off their supply of oil. We need to appreciate just how good we have it. Finally, there is a new Cold War...and we're losing. Whoever wins the AI race will be the new superpower. China has excess data center capacity, yet the only thing Americans are more united on in their opposition to data centers is voter ID.
