I must say that I love watching real leadership. We speak of leadership often, but it's overworked much of the time. I mean the typical leadership is “by the book”. It's common sense and doesn't take much guts to implement. For example in parenting, you will protect your child. That's “leadership” of sorts. So you try to keep your child out of harm's way. It's natural. Common sense. But let's say your child gets involved with the wrong crowd. Are you willing to confront gang leaders on their turf and tell them to leave your child alone? Or do you let things play out? What people respect about Trump is he's the guy who confronts the gang leader. Tells him to back off or else. And the “or else” isn't an idle threat.I remember having a discussion with my wife about why our sons listened to me and not to her. I said, because I only threaten once, then I act. What have you done that's really tested your leadership? See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
The Left's hypocrisy glows like a neon sign in a blackout. Leftists really are getting so predictable it's pathetic. Their hypocrisy shows like a stain in the crack of white underwear. They'll excuse a Democrat's drone strikes but clutch their pearls when Trump neutralizes a threat. It's not about principle; it's about power. And they're terrified Trump's got it.I've been discussing the REAL leadership shown by Trump. Is there any doubt this man is the leader of the free world? The media's desperate attempts to spin Trump's success as failure—and why the markets are laughing in their face.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
If there is one thing we should get used to or be used to it's change. Yet, it's the thing we tend to fear the most.Change is the law of life. When you can't change a situation, it's a challenge to change yourself. I know from life and certainly from doing this show that change is inevitable and it's constant. It may appear to not happen for an instant or two, the snapshot I call it. But the video keeps playing. And though some change is incremental, it's happening. We can adapt to most of it, to control it to a degree. But then life happens.Perhaps that 11-year old seems like the perfect child. Then something happens at 12. Or maybe the job is going well, then they hire a new person, or your boss moves on, and you get a new one.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
I was thinking about DEI since we formed Unified Solutions America that focuses companies on meritocracy.I thought what if DEI were applied everywhere. So you would have fat jockeys, for example.Or why would a doctor need a license? I saw this report the other day on a doctor in Tucson AZ who killed dozens of people over about a 3 year period and he killed 6 of them in the last 6 months he worked. He was on drugs, depressed…And they expected him the self-report. Next, if he didn't self-report, they expected a peer to report him. From Interactive Polls2026 Congressional ballot polling had Democrats up by 3 pts last month. Like clockwork, instead of congratulating President Trump for doing what every other president promised and failed to do, Democrats want to impeach the man. It's time to teach a lesson to the real despots of the world, and that's what President Trump did.More than 700 Iranian nationals who illegally entered the U.S. were released into the country by the Biden administration, according to data obtained Sunday by The Center Square from a Border Patrol agent.Israeli Army Radio reports that the lone ballistic missile fired at Israel last night following the destruction of Iranian nuclear sites was intercepted by a U.S. missile defense system.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Iran FAFOed. The MOP bomb weighs 30,000 pounds and is dropped from 7.5 miles above the target. It speeds towards earth at 700 mph. Just the weight of the bomb alone would cause everything around it to be destroyed within a 100 ft radius. This laser-guided monster penetrates the earth to about length of a football field, then detonates a 5600-pound explosive. The official name for the ordnance is GBU-57 MOP. The bomb essentially contains enough explosive power to kill everything above ground within a mile. When dropped to earth, the sheer weight and speed of the projectile cause the bomb to penetrate deep into the earth. The detonation is delayed until the bomb finally settles. Once triggered, a shock wave is delivered that feels like a earthquake due to all the rock and sediment surrounding the warhead. Send us a textI'm joined by Peter Copeland, Deputy Director of Domestic Policy at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute, to unpack the truths and myths around Canada's border security. From fentanyl trafficking and human smuggling to legal blind spots and our fractured jurisdictional model, Peter offers a research-backed, nonpartisan perspective on the known unknowns we face. What can Canada learn from its allies? Why are our legal frameworks outdated? And is our public safety strategy more reactive than proactive? You had to know President Trump was going to bomb Iran.I'm not sure you could give out that many hints. Israel did the dirty work, and boy were they amazing at it. They wiped out the leadership of the military in one fell swoop. That alone should have sent Iran a serious enough message to leave Israel the flunk alone. Israel got them to all meet in one location, then dropped a bomb on them. What sophistication in their clandestine operations they must have. I have nothing but respect from Mossad…Stuxnet…Stuxnet is a powerful computer worm designed by U.S. and Israeli intelligence that to disable a key part of the Iranian nuclear program. Targeted at an air-gapped facility, it unexpectedly spread to outside computer systems, raising a number of questions about its design and purpose.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
If you have a good ecosystem it will balance itself. It will invite things in it needs and remove things it doesn't. Nature is perfectly adapted for this. Leftists worry about some animal or organism becoming extinct, and Nature just laughs. Something will fill every void.As full of ourselves as we are, the earth would not miss us, if we were to leave…I don't know what one man will do to another man. But I know that Nature doesn't give a crap.If we want to live like heathens, Nature doesn't care. Litter, burn trash in the open, it doesn't matter.Or live clean, recycle, and so on. Nature will adapt.I was going to speak on Israel and Iran last week, but I decided to wait and see what happened over the weekend.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Joey Jones joins to discuss mental health struggles among veterans and first responders, as highlighted in his new book Behind the Badge. Kim St. Onge returns with the powerful story of a brain-dead Georgia woman kept on life support to deliver her baby, sparking emotional debate about abortion, life, and medical ethics.
Newt discusses the recent ICE raids and protests in Los Angeles with Joshua Treviño, Senior Fellow for the Western Hemisphere Initiative at the America First Policy Institute. Their conversation explores the symbolic and political implications of Mexican flags during the unrest, the historical context of leftist mobilization in the U.S., and the influence of Mexican cartels and the Mexican government on immigration and violence. Treviño argues that the protests are part of a broader strategy to undermine American sovereignty and law enforcement, supported by the Mexican regime. Their discussion also covers the operational challenges of mass deportation, the role of employers in immigration enforcement, and the potential for conflict with the Mexican government. Treviño emphasizes the need for decisive action against cartels and suggests that the U.S. must address these issues proactively to avoid a more severe confrontation in the future.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Leftism isn't just misguided; it's a wrecking ball, demolishing truth and reason in its quest for control. The news cycle is a daily reminder of how far they'll go to keep the grift alive, and today's headlines are a goldmine of their self-inflicted wounds.Let's start with Jamie Raskin, the Maryland congressman who's still peddling the Trump-Russia collusion hoax like it's 2016. This guy tweeted that Trump's “owned by the Russians,” despite the Mueller report, Durham investigation, and years of evidence proving the collusion narrative was a Democrat-manufactured lie. Raskin's not dumb—he's just banking on his base's denial. The Left clings to these hoaxes—Russia, January 6th, you name it—because admitting they're wrong means losing their moral high ground. And that's all they've got. Without their “Trump's a traitor” bedtime story, they're just a party of failed policies and bad haircuts. Buckle up, folks, because we're diving headfirst into a political circus so absurd it could double as a reality TV plot twist! Imagine a world where politicians spin tales so wild they'd make Pinocchio blush, only to have their own wallets—and voters—call their bluff. That's the rollercoaster ride we're on today as Democrats, long champions of open borders and free handouts, are suddenly forced to foot the bill for the very illegals they swore wouldn't cost a dime. The hypocrisy? It's as thick as a California fog and twice as insulting. Let's peel back the curtain on this comedy of errors, where Gavin Newsom and J.B. Pritzker are learning the hard way that fairy tales don't pay the bills.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
We face the unknown every day. Do you know that the word we use for fear of foreigners is actually the word for fear of the unknown? Xenophobia.Panic in response to uncertainty. Some people say that the fear of the unknown is the greatest fear of all. What do you think?I've heard it said that "We do not fear the unknown. We fear what we think we know about the unknown." – Teal Swan. I believe that much of the time, the thought of fear itself is greater than what it is we fear."Fear and anxiety many times indicate that we are moving in a positive direction, out of the safe confines of our comfort zone.". The pessimistic but perhaps reality is that, "People have a hard time letting go of their suffering. Out of a fear of the unknown, they prefer suffering that is familiar." – Joseph Emet. Why do we call it news? We get updates, but we don't get a lot of news. It's really OLDS repackaged to look like news. That is the question we should ask ourselves is about the cyclic nature of things.I can tell you what the news cycle will be today, in a year, and in a decade. It won't change. Why? Because Leftists won't change.Imagine waking up a day, and people simply get along. We accept each other for our differences, by understanding how much we are all the same?Imagine no black activism, and the #HAGS stop complaining about being women? Hell, imagine that Leftists actually define “woman” as what it is.Imagine a country working together to actually SOLVE problems for its citizens first, then helping the world, and only for the greater good. No wars, proxy wars, or political malfeasance Leftists love. See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

The assault on conservatism, ergo common-sense continues from the Left. And we get daily proof. I will tell you that you'd better have a way of distilling truth from lies using your brain, because AI is becoming intense. If Leftists were to control AI, our reality would be so warped we could never recover. There is a chart shown in video of how much time Americans spent with family and friends and other activities including online, and decades ago, it was dominated by family.Today, any guess as to what dominates our time? Then there's the harassment at the parade itself. As attendees left, “No Kings” protesters heckled them, because nothing says “defend democracy” like bullying families celebrating the military. These folks weren't protesting policy; they were flexing for clout, hoping their chants of “No thrones, no crowns” would land them on MSNBC. The parade, by the way, cost $25-$45 million, and 60% of Americans polled said it was a waste. Fair point, but the Left's response—disrupting a celebration of service members—isn't principled; it's just loud. And let's talk about the Los Angeles riots, because this is where the Left's destructiveness goes from annoying to dangerous. Far-left militants, enraged over Trump's immigration policies, turned LA into a war zone with arson, looting, and freeway takeovers. Posts on X called it an “insurrection” against deportations, and they're not wrong. This wasn't a protest; it was organized chaos, funded by well-heeled activists who'd rather burn cities than debate policy. Good evening, folks, and welcome to another dive into the circus of modern politics, where the Left's relentless chase for power, prestige, and cold hard cash has turned them into a laughingstock of self-owning buffoons. It's not just that their ideas are bad—oh no, they're catastrophic. It's that their execution is a masterclass in idiocy, a parade of performative nonsense that'd make a reality TV producer blush. Leftism isn't just an ideology; it's a black hole of destruction, sucking in common sense and spitting out chaos. Let's unpack a few gems from the news cycle to prove it.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
[EP 25-239] What a weekend! Israel bombed Iran, the No Kings protests, Democrats racking up the “kills” with the assassination of Democrat lawmakers in Minnesota. More on that in a bit.Did you watch any video of the protests last weekend?PAID protesters, still funded by legacy NGO money. And thankfully there are real journalists exposing the game. What I noticed most about the protests is how the police are taking NO CRAP from protestors. I watched police manhandle unruly protestors.Interestingly, a few No Kings protests were canceled in areas of the country due to…LOW TURNOUT.In DC and Atlanta, protestors were made to remove masks or leave. [EP 25-240] How does this reflect on him? I will be honest…not good. If Israel can disregard you, then how does that play out on the world stage.I find it hard to believe that Israel did this unilaterally.I believe they had to have read President Trump in on this. That's not what the administration is saying, and I will get to that in a minute. Somehow, the Trump administration will need to clean this up. [EP 25-237] Democrats are a mob. And when I say mob, I mean like the Mafia only much worse. When you marry the mob with a cult, you get much closer to what the Democrats represent. I've spoken about them for years and still haven't tapped into their real essence. I can tell you that they have no moral core, but that only scratches the surface. When they speak of “democracy”, and they do it often, it's not what you think. It's the small group of elitists who determine their version of democracy. And that democracy will be beaten into you if necessary.Crime is how they operate. And it's the people in the shadows who authorize the street-level criminals to operate.By now we all know that the demonstrations are orchestrated and funded by anti-American leftist organizations. We discuss the fact that at least Grindavík has built a wall, of sorts.✨Also, don't drink the water in the Blue LagoonAnd finally, here is a list to The Reykjavík Grapevine's summer playlist, as promised:https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5Z0aHSg3SmBYpNuCMCacdy?si=e198fc8ba73c427a------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SHOW SUPPORTSupport the Grapevine's reporting by becoming a member of our High Five Club: https://steadyhq.com/en/rvkgrapevine/You can also support the Grapevine by shopping in our online store: https://shop.grapevine.is------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is a Reykjavík Grapevine podcast. The Reykjavík Grapevine is a free alternative magazine in English published 18 times per year, biweekly during the spring and summer, and monthly during the autumn and winter. In today's episode, we examine the intensifying public rift between Elon Musk and Donald Trump. The catalyst? Trump's recently proposed “Big Beautiful Bill” which notably removes federal subsidies that have historically benefited Musk's ventures. Elon has not remained silent, and tensions escalated further when he retaliated by implying that Trump is listed among Jeffrey Epstein's known associates, suggesting this as the reason the full client list remains sealed.Major accusation. Is this an authentic ideological clash, or a calculated distraction? What are the political implications, and who truly benefits from this spectacle? Let's dissect the rhetoric, analyze the deeper motives, and apply biblical clarity in the midst of all of the chaos.—https://www.thebrandsunday.com/products/the-bible-study-physical?srsltid=AfmBOopJ1q_VkwFOO-Q2RCLoc1uzsHwAP4yh-_ZFG-r8_S9idICTj6nR

Today, we're looking at Prime Minister Mark Carney's government surviving its first test, as the Liberal throne speech passed through the House of Commons on a quirk that saw no official vote held — likely because the Liberals would have lost. Plus, Carney's government is trying to pass new border security measures which may come with a catch for Canadians' privacy. And finally, the Waterloo Region District School Board is receiving backlash after it hosted a training session where staff were taught the term "family" was harmful.
Ammon Blair is a Senior Fellow at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, specializing in border security and immigration policy, with over two decades of experience as a U.S. Border Patrol agent and U.S. Army officer. Why the National Guard Is the Backbone of Border Security
