Los argentinos votan el próximo 26 de octubre en unos comicios legislativos clave para el presidente Javier Milei que no tiene mayoría de diputados. Según las últimas encuestas, el mandatario argentino no pasa por su mejor momento, con un 63% de desaprobación, apunta un sondeo de Zuban Córdoba. A Milei le estaría pasando factura “el supuesto caso de corrupción por parte de su hermana Karina y la impaciencia de la gente que espera frutos de esa política tan fuerte de la motosierra”, según François-Xavier Freland, autor del documental ‘Javier Milei, el presidente de la motosierra'. La Libertad Avanza del presidente argentino, Javier Milei, lidera las encuestas para las próximas elecciones del 26 de octubre. Un 39,6% frente al 34% del kirchnerismo, sin embargo en la provincia clave de Buenos Aires, que concentra el 40% del padrón electoral, las proyecciones no le son favorables.  Al escándalo por el supuesto caso del cobro de sobornos que salpica a su hermana Karina Milei, se ha agregado el de su diputado estrella en la provincia de Buenos Aires, José Luis Espert. Al legislador se le acusa de haber recibido 200.000 dólares en 2020 del empresario Federico Machado, detenido en Estados Unidos por narcotráfico y lavado de dinero.  "Milei ganó justamente las elecciones con un discurso anticorrupción y ahora tiene este par de problemas, veremos qué dice la justicia", afirma el periodista y escritor francés François Freland, para quién "Milei está en un momento crítico".  Freland firma un documental sobre el presidente argentino titulado en francés 'Javier Milei, le président à la tronçonneuse' (Javier Milei, el presidente de la motosierra), una cinta de una hora realizado para el canal público francés Public Sénat, en el que explica el fenómeno Milei.  En este documental entrevista al presidente, así como a parte de su equipo como a Santiago Oría, su film-maker, o Martín Menem, presidente de la Cámara de Diputados. También habla con opositores como Juan Grabois o el economista Hernán Techer. El objetivo es entender quién es Milei y su personaje, y las motivaciones de los argentinos, que antes votaban por el peronismo y que luego dieron un giro radical en las últimas elecciones y apostaron por este "mesías" libertario, como el hilo conductor de este documental, Roberto, un ciudadano que, como muchos otros, transitó de un extremo a otro. Algo "muy sintomático del voto de Milei", añade Freland, quien fue corresponsal de RFI y France24 en varios países de Latinoamérica y África.  "Siempre me interesaron los políticos fuera de lo común", nos dice Freland. "No me gustaba mucho la carícatura que hacían algunos de mis compañeros al hablar de Milei y por eso quise hacer un documental, acecarme al hombre y no tanto a la caricatura", explica el documentalista que conoce Argentina desde hace 30 años.  Freland y Milei se entrevistaron en la Casa Rosada.
