WWE Fastlane 2023 full show review, and results with JDfromNY on Off The Script. JDfromNY reviews WWE Fastlane 2023 for Saturday October 7th, 2023. WWE Fastlane takes place on at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, and will be the first WWE Fastlane held since 2021. Seth Rollins defends the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura in a Last Man Standing Match. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso challenge The Judgement Day (Finn Balor, and Damian Priest) for the WWE Tag Team Championship. Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar take the LWO into a 6 man tag team match against Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits, with rumors of Carlito making his WWE return with the LWO. Also, Charlotte, Asuka, and IYO SKY battle in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Women's Championship, and John Cena teams up with LA Knight to battle Solo Sikoa, and Jimmy Uso of the Bloodline. In addition, rumors are circulating that would could see Randy Orton make his WWE return, and Jade Cargill make her WWE debut.

Evolution is the Solution! Randy Orton is the youngest WWE Champion in history of the WWE by defeating Chris Benoit at WWE SummerSlam 2004! Now the “Randy Orton Era” has begun. Orton is here to celebrate his victory on RAW, however that is short lived as Chris Benoit uses his rematch clause tonight in the main event! Randy Orton ends up retaining his title with help from Evolution. However, during the post match celebration Triple H gives Orton a thumb up and thumbs down. Batista then drops Orton backwards off his shoulders. Triple H, Ric Flair, and Batista proceed to leave Randy bloody and battered. Triple H says that the WWE World Heavyweight Championship should be his. Also, Kane and Lita are one week away from getting married. Kane won a “Till Death Do Us Part” Match at SummerSlam against Matt Hardy. Lita is now forced to marry Kane, whether she likes it or not. The Divas throw her a Bridal Shower. Rhyno faces Sylvain Grenier in an “All or Nothing” Match. If Rhyno loses he and Tajiri can never face for the Tag Team Titles ever again. Edge defends the IC Championship against Kane. Seth Rollins defended the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor, as The Judgement have major problems heading into Monday Night Raw. GUNTHER defended the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Drew McIntyre, and Cody Rhodes finally slays Brock Lesnar. Also, IYO SKY cashes in her Money In The Bank to become the new WWW Women's Champion, and Ricochet and Logan Paul try and go viral in a one on one match.

This is the WWE Raw episode where the “Summer of Kane” begins. Around 5 months ago, Evolution had taken the mask off of Kane, but this time Eric Bischoff wanted it for good. Kane had a choice to make: he could either choose to join Evolution or he could vs Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. He chose to fight Triple H however Eric Bischoff put in a stipulation, if Kane loses he has to take the mask off and show everyone his face!
