Sean and Ronan celebrate The Game Pit's Ten Year Anniversary in style by completing their lists of the greatest games of all time. Thanks for being with us for the past ten years and much love to all.

“Evgeni Malkin's 1,000th NHL Game” PIT@CHI 11/20/22Last night in Winnipeg, Tristan Jarry and the Pittsburgh Penguins played hard-and-smart for the FULL sixty minutes of regulation. They got rewarded, in the form of their very first shutout victory of the season. Following a historically bad losing streak, the Pens needed two things to come together in order for the team to feel stabilized. For one, they needed to play their game for the entirety of three periods. Then they were going to need their top goaltender to ratchet-strap the payload down to the bed of the bed of the pickup, chisel the ice off the tow hitch, and get back to work. Forget the recent 7 game losing streak, because when it comes to playing on the road in Chicago, the Penguins haven't won in that barn since 2009. We are back again and running the ruler over twelve more upcoming releases at Spiel 2018. We have dug into rulebooks, examined videos and searched our souls to give you our best predictions for which games will be Treasures and which will be Traps at the show this year. 

In our Treasure Hunt episodes we have a look at unreleased games and make our predictions as to whether we think they will play like a dream and be deemed a Treasure or cause the worst nightmares and be branded a Trap.
