Episode 123 – Oh Look, Podcast Equipment It has been over four months since you’ve heard from Pete and Gretchen. While the break for them was necessary, and the relief for you was likely profound, the couple is back (for now) and ready to share what’s been happening. We all know that people missed Gretchen, so after a bit of an introduction, she jumps right into four months’ worth of #viewsfromthecouch. And wait until you hear the shows they have been walking together! Gretchen and Pete both give some health updates. How are they feeling? How are they doing? Is Pete still a hot mess? (You already know this answer.) Pete promises a bigger #50at50 update soon. In the meantime, there is an update to the list and it’s a fun one. Now, get out there and #bebettertoday! Pete is out this week and the show is just chaos. Is Pete the glue? What a terrifying thought! Only David stays on task and watches his franchise. Everyone else barely watched anything new. Alex and Kevin go off on video games for a hot second, and that’s the entire first half! In the second half, the guys go over a list of 41 shows that you should (or maybe shouldn’t?) watch this fall. While they agree with some, there are some serious questions around the validity of this list. That said it’s wildly entertaining. I swear. No, really! Much like Pete said after his first awkward romantic encounter, I promise it’ll be better next time. For now, hug your friends and tell them this really does happen to everyone. While you are convincing them that it’s just performance anxiety, have them like and subscribe. We’re worth it, I promise!

In this episode we get INTO the metaphors and imagery associated with our line. Is Pete giving us a clue to where the drugs are hidden? Is he describing his addiction? Or is something more nefarious going on? Also, we don't get into it on the episode, but we did want to note that this song contains a word that, when this album came out, wasn't very well known as a racial slur for the Romani (it starts with a G). We don't condone its usage and we have every faith that FOB would not use it in a concert in 2020. But without pointing it out, people don't learn about this kind of thing. This week Chantal and Kendall recap the latest episode of RHOBH, featuring Kyle's Black and White Party (i.e. the biggest RHOBH reunion of all-time) which saw cameos from Brandi Glanville, Adrienne Maloof and even Kris Jenner (dubbed as 'Kyle's friend'). Plus, we discuss the recent fallouts on board The Wellington in Below Deck Med (are you Team Hannah or Bugsy? Is Pete's apology to Malia good enough?) and Dorinda's drunken antics in The Berkshires. This week's Top Five At Five: Our all-time favourite Bravo Husbands. (Spoiler: It was slim pickings.)
On this weeks episode, Brian busts open a Brazilian profit. Is Pete the real deal? Or is he just trying to take over the world? Help us figure it out! Butcher Box Code: fbuy.me/n-Ryp Patreon: www.patreon.com/tbproductions

S01E15: "Nicodemus" Original airdate: 3/19/02 When an experimental flower appears in Smallville, it has some wild effects on those it infects with its pollen. Effects like extreme anger, swagger, and horniness! It's one of the only episodes where you could probably review it with a few emoji's. We ask; Does Pa Kent have a vibrant sex life? How DID Lana get outta there so fast? Is Pete just straight up a liability when conducting a B&E? Do our hosts go into the weeds *several* times? This week's episode focused on some more practical issues of web browsers, operating system upgrades, and hinted at Pete's upcoming involvement in helping the Village of Mattawan get some truly high speed internet as opposed to the slow speeds residents currently suffer with. We addressed a good question about Google Chrome vs. Firefox, but discovered after we recorded this that not all recommendations are good, as we learned the hard that our student information system is bet not used with Google Chrome at the elementary level for many crucial functions. Firefox is the go-to to make sure everything works as well as advertised.Outside of the browser issues, we chat about new teacher laptops, the hype around the Apple Watch, and Pete gets stumped!Timestamps for this week's questions:1:03 What has Pete been up to today?2:40 Is Pete helping the Village of Mattawan get “real” high speed internet?5:25 Someone would like an explanation for using Google Chrome instead of Safari.6:45 Ben thinks there are probably one of two reasons that people want to use Chrome.9:35 Someone wants to know, what’s going on with Safari Montage?13:20 Todd wants to know, will you be purchasing the Apple Watch?16:20 Pete struggles with putting his phone on silent.18:46 What’s up with Mac OS X Yosemite, will we have it soon?19:00 We’re getting new teacher laptops for the staff!20:32 Stump Pete!22:05 Which musician, in 1994, recorded and played all of the instruments for his band’s debut album? You can talk about the show or continue the conversations on Twitter using the hashtag #TechDirectorChat or chatting up Ben (@techsavvyed) or Pete (@ppoggione) on Twitter.
