Bridgerton is the gift that keeps on giving. With each new season of the show, we're introduced to more wildly talented rising stars, many of whom have now used their Bridgerton fame as a launchpad for building extensive filmographies, and one of the first to do it was Phoebe Dynevor. The moment Bridgerton kicked off its run on Netflix in December 2020, Dynevor became a household name. When her time on the show came to a close in 2022, she pivoted to feature filmmaking and since, has dished out quite a few winners across a variety of genres. In 2023, Fair Play debuted at the Sundance Film Festival and ultimately helped Dynevor secure a BAFTA Rising Star Award nomination. Soon after that came Anniversary, which features Dynevor in the midst of a stellar ensemble that includes Diane Lane, Kyle Chandler, Zoey Deutch, Dylan O'Brien and more. Now, not only does she have a shark movie, Thrash, hitting Netflix, but she's also got a number of highly anticipated projects on the horizon, including the Beach Read film adaption and the M. Night Shyamalan and Nicholas Sparks collaboration, Remain.ith Thrash now available to stream on Netflix and hype building for Dynevor's upcoming films and shows, she took the time to visit the Collider Ladies Night studio to discuss how she's whipped up such a diverse resume, and how she hopes to expand it even further in the future. There are plenty of Conservation issues earning local and national spotlights, but what is happening right now behind the curtain in Texas may not be discussed enough. Sam returns for a live solo show with a lot on the agenda. Often covering conservation topics in other States, he takes this opportunity to share a concerning look behind the curtain in his home State of Texas. While both residents and non-residents may believe everything is running just fine in the Lone Star State, there is no doubt specific people are pushing into certain positions which hold the influence to begin chipping away with an anti-hunting agenda. Additionally, Sam talks about the perception of hunting bears and predators, and what true conservation looks like. This is a very educational episode, and one that every hunter (and certainly Texans) should listen to. After that, members of Queensrÿche join Eddie to discuss their unique position straddling both metal and progressive rock genres. We are What's New to Netflix, and we're going to break down all of the new stuff coming to Netflix in May 2026, so be sure to take notes! Then it's the first of many one-word movie titles when Idris Elba and his two daughters are stalked by a man-eating lion in Beast from 2022. Next, a hurricane is coming to town, but the worse news is that it's bringing a whole bunch of hungry sharks with it in Thrash from 2026. And finally, it's the story of a boy turned football sensation who gets coached by his hero, and he also has a brain injury, and his hero is really sadistic, and lots of horrific stuff is happening in Him from 2025. All of this plus documentaries about soccer (or football if you'd prefer) and one documentary on a tennis player, but the rest are all about soccer, aka football, probably because of the World Cup. got a suggestion for the show?: whatsnewtonetflix@gmail.com

For the second week in a row, we find ourselves wading back into the cinematic swamp of “animals who have absolutely had it with humans.” This time, the creature feature du jour is THRASH (2026), a Netflix exclusive that once lounged around Sony's living room before being scooped up by the streaming giant. It splashed onto VOD on April 10th, 2026, and to the shock of absolutely no one, it feels a bit like déjà vu of CRAWL (2019)—only someone swapped the alligator for sharks, as if playing a very chaotic round of ecological Mad Libs.According to IMDb, the plot goes something like: “When a Category 5 hurricane decimates a coastal town, the storm surge brings devastation, chaos and something far more frightening: hungry sharks.” In other words, Mother Nature looked at the disaster movie genre and said, “You know what this needs? Teeth.” The film comes courtesy of Norwegian filmmaker Tommy Wirkola—yes, the mastermind behind DEAD SNOW and VIOLENT NIGHT—who clearly woke up one morning and chose aquatic violence. The cast boasts Phoebe Dynevor, Whitney Peak, Djimon Hounsou, Matt Nable, and more brave souls willing to pretend they're being hunted by CGI fins. Reviews have ranged from “eh” to “please no,” but Netflix has been promoting it with the enthusiasm of a proud parent whose child just ate an entire crayon. Luckily, your cohosts are joined by actor Dan Lench (CIRCLE, MAXXXINE, THE LURKING MAN) to dive into this toothy tempest of nature‑gone‑wild horror.

Tonight on Triple Feature, we're diving into three 2026 streaming-era genre swings: Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice, Pretty Lethal, and Thrash. On paper, each one has the kind of premise that sells itself before the movie even starts: gangsters, romance, crime, and time travel; ballerinas forced into violent survival mode; and a hurricane-flooded coastal town where sharks are suddenly part of the disaster plan. But that is also the problem. These are not old-fashioned star vehicles or theatrical events. They are premise-first movies built for the thumbnail age, where the logline has to do most of the work. So the question tonight is not simply whether these movies are good or bad. It's whether the modern streaming B-movie still has personality, danger, and invention — or whether it has become a content slot wearing the skin of exploitation cinema. Are these sharp little genre machines, disposable algorithm bait, or proof that dumb fun still has a pulse? Gangsters, ballerinas, hurricane sharks — the algorithm wants blood.Disclaimer: The following may contain offensive language, adult humor, and/or content that some viewers may find offensive – The views and opinions expressed by any one speaker does not explicitly or necessarily reflect or represent those of Mark Radulich or W2M Network.Mark Radulich and his wacky podcast on all the things:https://linktr.ee/markkind76alsohttps://www.teepublic.com/user/radulich-in-broadcasting-networkFB Messenger: Mark Radulich LCSWTiktok: @markradulichtwitter: @MarkRadulichInstagram: markkind76RIBN Album Playlist: https://suno.com/playlist/91d704c9-d1ea-45a0-9ffe-5069497bad59

Welcome back to When Words Fail, Music Speaks, the podcast that explores the healing power of music with the people who live it every day. In today's episode, host James Cox sits down with a true musical chameleon – Jeff Young, the former Megadeth guitarist whose story stretches far beyond the thrash‑metal spotlight. From the gritty rehearsal rooms of Boston to the buzzing festivals of Canada, Jeff recounts life on the road with Kings of Thrash, the frantic pace of touring, and the unforgettable moments that make every gig feel like a trip back to 1987. He dives deep into his formative years at the Guitar Institute of Technology, where legends such as Frank Gambale, Steve Morris, and Tommy Tedesco shaped his education, and reflects on how formal training both sharpened his technique and challenged his creative instincts. The conversation quickly widens, tracing Jeff's love for funk in Dayton, his immersion in Brazilian rhythms and flamenco, and his reverence for jazz greats like Frank Gambale and Scott Henderson. He shares the story behind his newest record, Revolutions – a labor‑of‑love analog project recorded on two‑inch tape, a statement against the digital overwhelm of today's music world.Listeners will also get insider anecdotes about missed opportunities (a David Lee Roth gig, a Steve Vai invitation), the tragedy and triumph of Jason Becker's legacy, and how Jeff's eclectic palette—rock, jazz, classical, world music—continues to evolve.Stay tuned as we unpack the myth, the music, and the man behind the metal, and discover why Jeff Young's voice is far more than a riff—it's a bridge between genres, cultures, and generations.Grab your headphones, let the vibes lift your frequency, and remember: when words fail, music speaks.

1980's In God We Trust was the second film of a three film agreement between actor/director Marty Feldman and Universal Pictures. Following the success of Feldman's The Last Remake of Beau Geste, In God We Trust was his attempt to call out the excesses and hypocrisy of commercialized religion. Today we dive (Literally) into Netflix's Thrash (2026), the wild, storm-fueled survival thriller that asks a simple question: what's worse than a Category 5 hurricane? Try adding a ton of Bull sharks.Directed by Tommy Wirkola, Thrash throws us into a flooded South Carolina coastal town where rising waters bring more than destruction, they unleash a shark feeding frenzy. We break down the film's chaotic premise, from stranded residents and collapsing homes to shark-infested streets, and explore how it blends disaster movie intensity with over-the-top creature feature horror. Is Thrash a worthy addition to the long line of shark thrillers, or just another entry in the “so-bad-it's-fun” category? If you love high-stakes survival, creature features, or just the latest Netflix chaos to unfold on screen, this episode is for you. The setup is simple: a Cat 5 storm hits a small town, flooding everything and unleashing blood-crazed sharks. It delivers some solid chaos, decent effects, and a few gnarly kills. Plus, it doesn't take itself too seriously and keeps things moving with a short runtime. But the downside? Weak characters, rough acting, and nothing that really sets it apart from better shark movies already out there. Some scenes (especially the “serious” moments) just don't land at all. Overall: not terrible, but not worth going out of your way for. If you want a better version of this vibe, Under Paris does it better. #ThrashMovie #NetflixMovies #MovieReview #SharkMovie #DisasterMovie
Another fun-filled episode of Nerds Talking is here, and this one covers everything from iconic music legends to the future of gaming itself.Lafayette and Carlos kick things off with a surprisingly deep dive into the highly anticipated biopic Michael. What starts as a review turns into an extended breakdown as they unpack the film's tone, performances, and what it gets right (and wrong) about one of the most legendary entertainers of all time.Carlos then jumps into action with his review of Apex, starring Charlize Theron and Taron Egerton. Does this Netflix entry hit the mark or miss the target? Carlos breaks it down.Next up, the duo tackles the Amazon Prime comedy Balls Up… and let's just say, this one doesn't quite land.
