On top of coordinating multiple disasterrelief efforts, delivering supplies, transporting animals to safety, theHumane Society works with their staff, sponsors, volunteers and other no-kill partners in other parts of the country to make life-saving transports ofdisplaced pets happen.Working incredibly long-hours under less than ideal conditions, the staffand their partners, led by Jessica Cameron, have successfully moved more1,000 animals out of harm's way before and after Hurricane Laura madelandfall.
