The Ole Miss Rebels beat the Mississippi State Bulldogs 38-19 in the Egg Bowl Friday in Starkville. The loss ends the season for Mississippi State Football. For Ole Miss Football, the drama only began with the win. Head coach Lane Kiffin left Sunday for the LSU Tigers head coaching job. The Oklahoma Sooners saved their Playoff lives with a 17-13 win at home over the LSU Tigers. Oklahoma Football scored with 4:16 to go to hold off LSU Football and hold their Playoff spot.
