Dolly Parton, OnlyFans millions, the internet's sketchiest glory days, trailer park memories, a $50 million phone call, the return of Greek Fire, and grown adults getting absolutely dismantled by elementary-school math. Somehow, that's all one episode of The Rizzuto Show. The show starts on a more emotional note as the crew remembers Dolly Parton and the kindness, humor, generosity, and unmistakable personality that made her such a beloved icon. Unfortunately, Rizz had recently expressed concern about Dolly's health, which means listeners immediately dust off the completely scientific and legally airtight Rizz Show Curse and start blaming him. The emails arrive. The accusations fly. Rizz maintains his innocence. Nobody believes him.Lern shares what Dolly meant to her growing up, the crew revisits some of Dolly's funniest moments, and for a brief shining moment, The Rizzuto Show experiences genuine human emotion. Then we start talking about trailer parks.Because of course we do.After a mobile-home community gets unfairly dragged into headlines surrounding the arrest of 49ers owner Jed York, the crew clears up what actually happened—and that sends everybody barreling into stories about growing up around mobile homes. We get Rafe's single-wide childhood, homemade deer-skull decor, Lern's surprise taxidermied boar head, wood-burning stoves, freezing bedrooms, tornado shelters, questionable carpet, decks built onto decks, and enough rural engineering to make HGTV quietly leave the room. From there, things get even more sophisticated with toilet paper, padded toilet seats, an aggressively powerful handheld bidet, National Dog Day, dog breeds, genetically modified animals and the looming possibility that humanity will eventually build Jurassic Park despite having several movies explaining why we absolutely should not. Then it's time to discuss the modern economy.OnlyFans has reportedly paid creators $30 billion since launch, including billions in 2025 alone. Sounds like easy money—until the crew discovers just how tiny the percentage of million-dollar creators actually is. Naturally, this inspires an extremely serious business discussion about celebrity accounts, niche content, and whether there's an untapped market for shirtless men vacuuming their houses. Please do not put that idea into a business plan. The conversation then heads back to the simpler, uglier and significantly more dangerous internet of our youth: MySpace, Napster, mp3.com, GeoCities, eBaum's World, ICQ, AOL chat rooms, Fark, The Chive and Chatroulette—the website Rafe accurately describes as Russian roulette with considerably worse odds.Moon remembers Story of the Year hitting number one on mp3.com with “Until the Day I Die” before the site disappeared, and everybody remembers when the internet felt less like an algorithm trying to sell you something and more like a bunch of weird digital neighborhoods where nobody's parents had any idea what their children were doing.Which, in retrospect, was maybe not ideal. The nostalgia continues into physical media, old video games, vintage magazines, classic barbershops, and the slow realization that future antique stores might be pretty boring when everything we own is technically a license stored on a server somewhere. There's also entertainment gossip, Rizz admitting he's spent years pretending he's seen Donnie Darko, and then Moon drops the big announcement: Greek Fire is returning to the stage for its first headline show in seven years, with new music and a show at Delmar Hall. And because this daily comedy show still hasn't caused enough intellectual damage, we finish with the Rizz Quiz.First, the crew tackles a $50 million hypothetical: if someone offered you $50 million tax-free to call somebody right now, and you only get the money if they don't answer, who are you calling? The answer around the studio is basically King Scott.Congratulations, Scott. Your inability to answer a phone is finally an asset. Then callers take on 45 seconds of supposedly easy trivia. Colors. Animals. Geography. Third-to-fifth-grade math. The sort of questions every adult thinks they could answer until a timer starts ticking and suddenly 60 divided by 6 is zero, 8 times 4 is 36, 18 plus 22 is 50, and a dollar apparently contains 50 nickels. The Rizz Quiz remains undefeated. So this episode has everything: a heartfelt tribute to Dolly Parton, the Rizz Show Curse, trailer park vindication, taxidermy, dangerous bathroom equipment, OnlyFans economics, internet nostalgia, Chatroulette trauma, disappearing physical media, Greek Fire's return, a hypothetical $50 million payday, and basic arithmetic publicly humiliating grown adults. In other words, another completely normal episode of The Rizzuto Show.Come for the funny celebrity gossip and weird news. Stay for the St. Louis chaos, nostalgic stories, Rizz and the gang roasting each other, and the comforting knowledge that no matter how bad your day is going, at least you probably know that 60 divided by 6 is 10.Probably.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → 1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
We have some explaining to do.The episode begins with Riz waking up to some major news. Obviously, he assumes everyone is talking about the Becky Thatcher, the first new riverboat joining the St. Louis riverfront fleet in nearly four decades.Nobody is talking about the riverboat. They're talking about Dolly Parton. After the show had recently discussed concerns about Dolly's health, the news of her death arrives—and listeners immediately activate the long-running Rizz Show curse. The inbox fills with variations of “YOU KILLED DOLLY.” Riz insists he did no such thing. The audience has apparently already held a trial and reached a verdict. What follows is a genuinely emotional remembrance of Dolly, particularly from Lern, who talks about growing up in a family of women who adored her and what Dolly represented as a funny, strong, generous woman who never seemed interested in punching down. The crew discusses the flood of tributes, her influence, her sense of humor and the strange feeling when an icon dies and suddenly your entire social feed becomes one giant memorial. They also revisit Dolly's legendary sense of humor through her old Letterman Top 10 appearance and a story about her attitude on the set of Steel Magnolias. It's heartfelt, funny and a reminder that occasionally this daily comedy operation is capable of experiencing an actual human emotion.Don't get used to it.Because we immediately pivot to the continuing saga involving the 49ers owner and the mobile-home community that got unwillingly dragged into headlines surrounding his arrest.Turns out the Wheat Hill Mobile Home Community would like everybody to know something very important: THEY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.According to the discussion, the mobile-home park was simply where he happened to pull over during the police operation. It wasn't part of the sting. Nobody was operating anything out of one of the trailers. The neighborhood just had the misfortune of becoming the funniest possible location to put in a headline. Our apologies to Wheat Hill.Naturally, this clarification leads to approximately half an hour of the crew discussing mobile homes.Rafe explains growing up in a single-wide in southern Illinois with five people, where mounted deer were apparently standard interior design. Except his family couldn't necessarily spring for full taxidermy, so Dad would clean the skull, mount the antlers and put the whole thing on a homemade wooden arrowhead.HGTV has been suspiciously quiet about this aesthetic.Lern remembers the time a giant taxidermied boar head unexpectedly arrived at her family home while her dad was away. Her little sister declared it a monster, Mom immediately banned it from civilized society, and now the boar apparently lives in the dark storage section of the basement waiting for somebody to make one wrong turn at night.Obviously, the show wants it for the office. Then Moon and Rafe provide an unexpectedly thorough education in mobile-home expansion. First you get the trailer. Then comes the lattice. Then the deck. Then another room. Maybe a wood-burning stove. Another deck. Perhaps an above-ground pool with a deck around that. Keep going long enough and the original mobile home becomes the chewy nougat center of an entire residential compound.Rafe also remembers winters when the back of his family's trailer got so cold they hung a blanket across the hallway, fired up the wood stove and everybody slept in the main room. There are old Formica tables. Ancient carpet capable of producing immediate rug burn. Indoor cigarette smoke. Storm shelters. Tornado theories. Wind chimes. Lawn ornaments. Shot-up road signs—allegedly. Abandoned farm equipment. Old horse trailers. And a neighbor who apparently kept woodworking after losing enough fingers that maybe the universe was trying to send a message. It becomes a weirdly affectionate trip through rural childhood, poverty and the things families do to turn whatever they have into a home.Eventually, this daily comedy episode escapes Trailer Park Memory Lane and celebrates National Toilet Paper Day, which leads to an important debate about toilet paper being too soft. Then Rafe describes encountering a handheld bidet sprayer with enough water pressure that incorrect usage could apparently result in a medical evacuation. There's also the nostalgic horror of padded toilet seats, because nothing says “luxury bathroom” quite like sitting on a cracked vinyl cushion that has seen generations of bare asses.National Dog Day brings happier territory as the crew talks about America's popular dog breeds, mutts versus designer breeds, and why mixed-breed dogs may secretly have everything figured out. Then the conversation wanders into genetic modification and the possibility of glow-in-the-dark animals, which naturally leads Moon to conclude that Jurassic Park is inevitable and he will absolutely buy a ticket. Finally, Carrot Top enters the conversation because this show respects narrative structure about as much as a raccoon respects a locked trash can.So yes: Dolly Parton, a new St. Louis riverboat, an NFL-owner controversy, trailer-park vindication, taxidermy, tornado shelters, toilet paper, dangerous bidets, dogs, genetically modified animals and Carrot Top.That is daily comedy. We're sorry.Mostly.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → 1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Another beautiful day in Wisconsin with plenty of sun and a high in the mid-70's! Was actually a bit chilly on the ride to work this morning. Had to turn on my grip warmers! Jean returned from her 4-day weekend of moving her daughter into the doors at UW-Madison and told us all about her emotional rollercoaster. Grant Bilse of the Wisco Sport Show also joined the program today just after 8am to talk about the Brewers, the Packers, and more! We let you know what's on TV tonight and what's new on New Release Tuesday. In the news this morning, Anquin St. Junious finally gets sentenced to prison, the body of a man who jumped from a tour boat in the Wisconsin River has been recovered, Cracker Barrel finally responds to the backlash of their recent rebrand/update, today marks the return of the Pumpkin Spice Lattes to Starbucks, and President Trump is looking at renaming the Department of the Defense. In sports, the Brew Crew managed to take care of the Diamondbacks last night, Cal Raleigh hit his 50th homerun for the Mariners, a look at this week's NCAA schedule, and a rundown of some of the roster moves being made in the NFL as we get ready for "cutdown day". Elsewhere in sports, an MJ/Kobe card just set a record at an auction, MLB is returning to the Field of Dreams in Iowa next summer, and the latest on the Raja Jackson debacle. We had a couple of interesting birthday stories this morning, including an 85 year-old woman who went skydiving to celebrate hers, and a very unique-looking turtle celebrated his 41st B-day. After the incredible final show from Black Sabbath just a few weeks ago…we looked at a list of other major classic rock bands who could reunite with their most famous line-ups for another show or maybe a small tour. National Dog Day - why are they always in a contest w cats
In honor of National Dog Day, we’re sharing a heartfelt story about the special bond we share with our pets—and the comfort they bring in life’s hardest moments. Steve Wohlberg, a husband, father, author, and speaker, grew up in Hollywood with a deep love for animals. From Great Danes to turtles to a dog named Jax, animals have always been part of his story. After a painful loss, Steve began to explore what that bond really means—and how it can point to something bigger than ourselves. Later in the episode, we’ll hear from Dr. Sy Garte, a retired research biochemist who spent much of his life convinced that science held all the answers. Raised in an atheist household, Sy’s early perspective left little space for questions of faith or meaning beyond the material world. But as his life unfolded, experiences both personal and professional began to challenge that view and a growing curiosity led him to reconsider what he believed about life, purpose, and truth. Dr. Sy Garte National Institutes of Health Scientism American Scientific Affiliation Interview Quotes: “I think the reason why people grieve so greatly over the loss of a pet is because God our Creator is the author of the bond between people and animals. I really believe that God ministers to people through animals.” - Steve Wohlberg “When people are hurting, when they need a touch of love, animals can be a big part of God revealing to us that He cares about us.” - Steve Wohlberg “The last thing [my dog Pooka] did was look full view into the eyes of her master. I thought, That’s the way we need to be with Jesus. When we get into tough times or if we’re about to die, we fix our faith on Him because He loves us and He wants us to have such a relationship with Him.” - Steve Wohlberg “God can use tragedy, and He can bring good things out of it. It really makes me look forward to heaven and to the new earth where we’ll be with not only Jesus but with friendly animals.” - Steve Wohlberg “There are millions of things that we know to be true that we know not through science. Science can only address a certain number of things because the scientific method is not able to ask and answer questions on things like, Why do I love this or that person? Why am I the way I am?” - Dr. Sy Garte “If you think that God doesn’t love you, you’re wrong, because I know He loves you, because He loves even me. And if He could love me, how could He not love you?” - Dr. Sy Garte “Belief in Jesus Christ, belief in biblical reality, and everything in science are not in conflict, but in fact, completely compatible. I think that if you ask the right questions about all of this—where did this purpose come from, where did this cognition come from, why is life this way—there’s no scientific answer that relates to physics or chemistry, just as there’s no scientific answers to how life began that relates the physics and chemistry.” - Dr. Sy Garte “We have to be quiet if we want to hear the voice of God. You don’t know what form it’s going to take. It could be somebody smiling at you. It could be anything. But pay attention and you will hear it.” - Dr. Sy Garte ________________________ Enjoy watching these additional videos from Jesus Calling YouTube channel!
