Kate Cocker (Everyday Positivity podcast) and Anni Hood (Well Intel Daily podcast) return to Flixwatcher to review Kate's choice Game On: The Unstoppable Rise of Women's Sport. Game On: The Unstoppable Rise of Women's Sport (2023) is a Netflix documentary directed by women's sport activist Sue Anstiss MBE and Jack Tompkins. The documentary explores the recent growth and population of women's sport and its impact. It features interviews with some of the biggest names in women's sport including Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, Stacey Copeland, Clare Balding CBE, Dame Denise Lewis and Kelly Smith MBE. While Game On celebrates the successes it also highlights the inequality and prejudice that surrounds women's sport. It is optimistic about the future but it is also shocking and extremely sad to hear the challenges some professional women athletes, like the Lionesses, have faced and continue to face. Recommendability scores for Game On were super high, as with all documentaries the repeat viewing was low and the only complaint was it wasn't as in depth as the subject could have been. However, Game On still scores an impressive 3.88 overall.   [supsystic-tables id=324]   Episode #318 Crew Links Thanks to the Episode #318 Crew of Anni Hood (@annihood) and Kate Cocker (@K8Cocker) You can find their website here https://twitter.com/purposefulpods     Please make sure you give them some love   More about Game On: The Unstoppable Rise of Women's Sport with Anni Hood and Kate Cocker For more info on Game On: The Unstoppable Rise of Women's Sport with Anni Hood and Kate Cocker you can visit Game On: The Unstoppable Rise of Women's Sport with Anni Hood and Kate Cocker IMDB page here or Game On: The Unstoppable Rise of Women's Sport with Anni Hood and Kate Cocker Tomatoes page here. Anni Hood (Well Intel Daily podcast) and Kate Cocker (Everyday Positivity podcast) join Flixwatcher to review Anna's choice The Gentlemen. The Gentlemen (2019) is the 11th feature film from British director Guy (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels) who returns to his love of East End gangsters and swearing after the remake that nobody wanted Aladdin. The ‘Gentlemen' in question are sweary Fletcher (Hugh Grant), a national rag reporter looking to sell his screenplay to Raymond Smith (Charlie Hunnam). Raymond is right-hand man to Mickey Pearson (Matthew McConaughey) who is looking to retire from his £400million marijuana empire, with interested buyers that include American billionaire Matthew Berger (Jeremy Strong) and Chinese gangster Lord George (Tom Wu) and his unpredictable underboss Dry Eye (Henry Golding). In support are Mickey's glamourous girl boss wife Rosalind (Michelle Dockery) and local boxing Coach (Colin Farrell). The Gentlemen for the most part is typical Guy Richie fare - fast talking, rhyming slang and comical violent. It is also unfortunately racist and some of the excessive swearing begins to wear a little thin (the c-word is used 25 times). Recommendability for The Gentlemen was a little mixed, but Anni's fives across the board help give it an overall rating of 4.   [supsystic-tables id=324]   Episode #311 Crew Links Thanks to the Episode #311 Crew of Anni Hood (@annihood) and Kate Cocker (@K8Cocker) You can find their website here https://twitter.com/purposefulpods     Please make sure you give them some love   More about The Gentlemen For more info on The Gentlemen you can visit The Gentlemen IMDB page here or The Gentlemen Tomatoes page here. Having a baby AND a business? How does that even work? Steph Douglas, founder of dontbuyherflowers.com and CEO of 3 humans (the youngest only a few months old) talks to host Kate Cocker about being a mum 3 times over, with a business in tow.  Find out what it is to run a business on top of having a baby, and whether it is worth resisting the early maternity leave urge to become an entrepreneur!  Steph Douglas lays down some straight up mum advice handed down from her mum, and opens up about how having a baby can also affect your relationship!  Oh and - don't forget part 2 where 2 business coaches will give you tips on how to manage business/working again with motherhood.

The group also had a visit from Reform Radio Director Jemma Tanswell as well as Kate Cocker from the BBC. As well as podcasts and interviews, the group were asked the question "Name a podcast you are listening to and tell us a little bit about it." Let's find out what they said.

Clicks And Leads | For Entrepreneurs | Digital Marketing | Success Thinking | Being A Digital Nomad

Are you an introvert? You may be surprised to know I am, which is why I like videos and email marketing generally because, once done and uploaded online, they don't require me to be there 24/7/365. I also HATE talking on the telephone or even Skype, being a visual person. I don't do chit chat but I can do pre-scheduled meetings. The one thing I find makes a real difference to online sales is being available to answer quick questions via Live Chat on my website. You can install one of the many free versions on your site and also have an app on your mobile, so that, no matter where you are, you can answer potential clients and customers questions, right there on the spot when they are making the buying decision. This also fosters confidence that, once bought, your product or service will have some follow up support. This will be outsourced eventually but for now, just try it and you'll be amazed at how it boosts sales conversions.
