The Lord's Prayer confronts us with ourselves. It exposes how often our prayers reflect our worst tendencies, our need to control, to manipulate, to hide, yet Jesus invites us to come as we are, messy and honest. This prayer becomes a mirror that reorders our desires, teaches us how a child talks to a perfect Father, and reshapes our heart around what is actually real. Key Verses: Matthew 6:9-13
SummaryThis sermon centers on the life of Matthew the tax collector and what his story reveals about identity, worth, and the call to follow Jesus. The pastor draws from Matthew's unique perspective as a Jew working for the Romans, someone despised by both sides, to show that God sees people as more than their worst moments or their earthly roles. Just as Jesus called Matthew with two simple words, 'Follow me,' God still calls people out from behind the tables of comfort, sin, and worldly identity to something far greater.Key Verses- Matthew 9:9- Matthew 13:44-46- Matthew 14:28-31- Matthew 27:19- Matthew 27:52Life ApplicationThis week, identify one 'table' in your life, whether it is a habit, a fear, a source of identity, or a comfort zone, that is keeping you from fully following Jesus. Take one concrete step to get out from behind it. This could mean signing up to serve at church, having an honest conversation you have been avoiding, or simply spending intentional time in prayer asking God what He is calling you to do next.Key Takeaways- You are more than what others think of you. Just as Matthew was more than a tax collector, your identity is not defined by your past, your failures, or other people's opinions. God sees you as a gift.- Your worth is not tied to your worst moment. The enemy wants to connect your value to your greatest mistake, but the cross and the empty tomb have already settled the question of your worth before God.- Jesus is the ultimate treasure. Matthew learned that no amount of money, success, or worldly approval could compare to the value of knowing and following Jesus Christ.- God calls you out from behind your table. Whatever is holding you back, whether comfort, fear, or identity, God is issuing a two-word invitation to step out and follow Him into something greater.- God is still speaking, even to the most unlikely people. Just as He spoke to Pilate's wife through a dream, God is still reaching the wayward, the lost, and those who seem far from Him. Do not stop praying for them.

As we celebrate Mother's Day in this series, we look at how often some of our first glimpses of grace happen in our homes because of our moms. Our foundational concept going through this series is a reminder; when feeling empty, we have to remember that God is the only One who truly fills us. God has always valued generational families, and His plans have always been generational. We can look the first encounter of Moses with God and we can see how, at the mention of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, Moses falls down on his face to revere the Lord. The truth is God's plans for godly parents are to help us in troubling times, and to point to who truly fills. Godly parents also help to guard the places that God has filled. Ultimately we can see that faith is cultivated in the home. - Key Verses // Matthew 5:6, Exodus 3:6, 2 Timothy 1:3-8 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive

SummaryThis sermon focuses on the transformation of Peter from an impulsive, extreme disciple who denied Jesus to a bold confessor of faith after the resurrection. The pastor emphasizes how Jesus works with people of extremes, using Peter as an example of someone who was passionate but lacked wisdom, yet became a powerful witness for Christ. The message highlights Peter's journey from being called Simon (fluid like water) to being renamed Peter (the rock), demonstrating God's prophetic work in transforming lives. The sermon explores Peter's confession at Caesarea Philippi and his willingness to step out of the boat during a storm, showing how God can use our extremes for His glory when we have a genuine connection with Him.Key Verses- Matthew 16:16- Matthew 16:18- 1 Peter 1:18- 1 Peter 2:9- 1 Peter 5:7- Matthew 14Life ApplicationThis week, identify one area of your life where you've been 'fluid like water' - changing based on circumstances or peer pressure. Ask God to help you become more like a 'rock' in that area, standing firm in your faith regardless of the situation. Practice making bold confessions of who Jesus is, especially in challenging moments.
As we continue through our series, we remember what the foundational concept of it is; that when we are feeling empty, we have to remember that God is the only one who truly fills us. He fills us with purposes and gift to serve according to His great purpose. We are designed to be an active part of His creation. For He created us and designed us; He knitted us together in our mother's womb and set us apart before we were born. We are created intentionally, He calls us masterpieces. We are both a work of art and an Artist's work. As God fills us, and we draw close to Him, He shows us where are gifts and talents can be used to honor Him and bring him glory. Ultimately, He shows us that we were create to create. - Key Verses // Matthew 5:6, Ephesians 2:8-10 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive

This week we look at how a God-filled mind brings a God-filled life! We have to understand our foundational concept for this series, when we are feeling empty then we need to understand that God is the only one who can truly fill us. A God-filled mind begins with understanding that setting our minds on the truth is essential. Truth brings us freedom. And thinking on what is true sets us up to live lives that are truly free. The key to what defines truth is found in looking to Jesus. Jesus is the truth with flesh on. Everything he did was truth in action. "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Knowing that God is the one that fills us when we feel empty is the core idea we have to hold onto as we continue into the second part of our "Filling Empty" series. So often our hearts can get to a place where they feel empty, feeling like they have been poured out or maybe just not poured into. The truth is that God wants to pour into you, but you first have to be open to Him and the truth He wants to pour in. He wants to fill us with more and more of Himself, but we have to open our hearts to Him. Opening our hearts opens our lives. - Key Verses // Matthew 5:6, 1 Kings 19:2-12 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive

We are starting a new series today on Easter Sunday, "Filling Empty"! Centered around the idea that when we feel empty, God is the one who fills that empty. With a launching scripture of Matthew 5:6, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled." Too often we make our own "get filled" plan that centers around us working harder or doing better to relieve that empty feeling inside. Thinking that way in human standards may be fine, but it is dangerous when we bring that same standard into our relationship with God. We can't do enough, work hard enough, or be good enough to earn salvation. We had incurred an infinite debt when we sinned against the infinite God. So, God's Son had to come down, and in the likeness of man, and pay the ultimate price. Dying on a cross for us, paying our debt, and had to be laid in a tomb, for us. God's gift of salvation is just that; a gift. It isn't earned or achieved, it is accepted. Three days later, Jesus rose! Defeating sin, death and the grave! The sound of the stone rolling away was the sound of Heaven opening up! Ultimately, God used an empty grave to fill Heaven. - Key Verses // Matthew 5:6, Romans 6:23 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive

Growing In God Podcast Program Number: GIG #293 Title: Faith Is Spiritual Gravity Web Description: When you wake up in the morning, you do not expect to lose the force of gravity and float off into space. Gravity is always there and always working. Likewise, you should not think of faith as something that you lose and try to get back. Just like gravity, faith should always be there. Do not pump up your faith at times when you need it. Just keep growing your faith at all times. Show Notes: We tend to think of faith as something we apply in the moment if we want to see something happen or need an answer to prayer. A better concept of faith is illustrated by the force of gravity. Gravity does not turn on or off according to momentary needs. It is always active as a permanent part of our lives. And that is what our faith should be. Of course, faith can trigger a miracle. But that will not happen because you build up your faith at that moment. It happens because you have grown to a level of faith in your walk with God. Faith grows. It is tested and tried. It is something dwelling in you because you have exercised it consistently in your walk with God. Faith is that which makes the unseen visible. Faith is what God moved in when He spoke the Word that created the universe, making things that are seen out of that which is invisible. God is invisible, and yet Christ visibly manifested the Father into the earth on a continual basis. He did not pump up some faith when someone needed a healing. He simply let the Father impact the physical realm through Him. And people were healed by their own faith in Christ. If we want to measure our faith, then Christ is our example. His faith was in the Father dwelling in Him, and He manifested the works of the Father. And so our faith is not what we manage to pump up now and then, but rather it is the faith that Christ and the Father are dwelling in us by the Holy Spirit. Faith is a state of being that is constantly manifesting in the world the works of the Holy Spirit. Faith is what we keep appropriating until we are filled up to all the fullness of God, and out of that fullness the Kingdom of God will become more and more visible. Key Verses: • Matthew 9:27–29. "It shall be done to you according to your faith." • Hebrews 11:1–3. "What is seen was not made out of things which are visible." • Hebrews 11:1 (KJV). "Faith is the substance of things hoped for." • John 14:16–21. "You will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you." • Romans 8:11. "If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He … will also give life to your mortal bodies." • Ephesians 3:13–19. "Know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God." Quotes: • "When we see the created world around us, we see the result of faith—the faith that God moved in when He spoke the Word that created all things throughout the universe." • "We need to have a faith that the Kingdom of God surrounds us, is in us, and is to manifest before us on a visible level. And the emanation of that faith must be constant." • "We need to build our faith and grow our faith surrounding what the Word of God has said already is. In other words, it is a reality in the realm of spirit, but we need to see it manifest in this visible world." Takeaways: 1. Faith is not something temporary that we exercise only at the moment we need it. Faith is actually like gravity, which is manifesting in our lives all day long. 2. Faith is not something we pump up because it has gone flat. It is something we build and grow in a consistent walk with God. 3. Faith is that which makes the unseen visible. And for the Kingdom to manifest daily in our world from the invisible realm requires a faith that is daily manifesting in our lives.

In one of Jesus' most memorable teachings, He calls us to "judge not." This command not only confronts our natural tendency to evaluate and criticize others, but it is also one of the most misunderstood passages in Scripture. What is wrong with judgment? What kind of judgment, if any, is necessary? And what should be our response to judgment? Key Verses: Matthew 7:1-6
Growing In God Podcast Program Number: GIG #287 Title: Seeing Him Who Is Invisible Web Description: What is faith? According to Hebrews 11, faith is the evidence of things not seen. And men and women of faith saw God who is unseen and brought into this world His works that were unseen in their day. Let us be those whose faith does the same in our day. Instead of struggling to believe, dwell where you are seeing Him who is invisible and make His will visible in the earth. Show Notes: Yeshua (Jesus) said, "All things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." Like many Scriptures, this statement challenges us. Did He mean that literally? Can we really believe that we will receive all things we ask for? Yes, we absolutely should believe that Yeshua meant what He said. But the purpose is to have the faith of those listed in Hebrews 11. These are our examples of the faith that is "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence in things not seen." All things that are seen were created by God's Word from that which is unseen. Therefore, just as God manifested what was unseen into the visible world, these men and woman of Hebrews 11 were able by their faith to bring into the visible realm those things that exist in the invisible realm. And the whole intent of this chapter in Hebrews is to convey God's will for us. As we walk with God today in the earth, He is speaking to us to bring into the visible realm His completed works that exist in the invisible realm. We often find ourselves struggling with doubt and unbelief. And the reason is that we are not experiencing what Moses experienced; he delivered Israel by "seeing Him who is unseen." Therefore, the faith of Moses was the evidence of the promise that was not seen. And if you are wanting evidence that what you are praying for is going to work, then start by seeing God who is invisible. See Yeshua who promised that His servants will be with Him where He is. Let us claim this ability and exercise it today. Key Verses: • Matthew 21:22. "All things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." • John 17:23. "You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me." • Hebrews 11:1 (KJV). "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." • John 12:26. "Where I am, there My servant will be also." • Hebrews 11:1–5. "What is seen was not made out of things which are visible." • Hebrews 4:9–10. "There remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God." • Hebrews11:13–14. "All these died in faith, without receiving the promises, but having seen them." • John 5:19. "Whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner." • John 8:26. "The things which I heard from Him, these I speak to the world." • Hebrews 11:27–40. "He endured, as seeing Him who is unseen." • Ephesians 2:10. "We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand." Quotes: • "We are to enter into a Sabbath rest. In other words, we are to be able to manifest that which God has sent us here to manifest and to complete the work which we've been given to do." • "Moses was seeing Him who is unseen. It doesn't mean that God is not seeable. It just means that in the natural material world God is not seen as a normal course of our existence. But Moses was moving in the natural world by seeing Him who is not seen in the natural world." • "You can't make a miracle out of that which is seen. You make it out of that which is unseen. And the only way you can accomplish that is by seeing Him who is invisible. And when we see Him who is invisible, then that which is invisible manifests itself into this realm in which we live." Takeaways: 1. According to Hebrews 11, just as God created what is seen out of what is unseen, our faith is about bringing what is unseen into the visible material realm. 2. We may not see the full manifestation of God's promises, but we walk by seeing Him who is invisible. And we do not waver in our purpose to make seen the things of God that are still unseen in the earth. 3. God has finished all His works, and we are looking for the city He created. It already exists, and we can see and dwell in it now in a very real way. But He is looking for us to bring into manifestation all that He wants to see happen in the age we live in.

Forgiveness is central to the Christian life, but it's costly, complicated, and often painfully personal. In this message, we explore why forgiveness is different from reconciliation, the danger of holding onto bitterness, and the transforming grace Jesus offers—even to those who betray Him. Key Verses: Matthew 6:7-15
We continue looking at how God has a bigger life for us in Christ. This week Pastor Brandon shows us that our big life is in the little things God entrusts us with. In Matthew 25 we find the Parable of the Talents, in which a master entrusts his wealth to his servants. Through this parable we learn that God cares about the little things and those that can be trust with little can be trusted with much. We need to recognize that every time God asks something of us, it is for our good. The bigger picture is found in small beginnings! - Key Verses // Matthew 25:14-29 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive
Summary:This sermon focuses on God's power to birth fresh dreams and visions through the Holy Spirit, drawing from the story of Joseph's dreams about Mary's pregnancy. The pastor emphasizes that true visions must be conceived by the Holy Spirit, not through human effort or mundane circumstances. He addresses the congregation about overcoming spiritual paralysis and being obedient to God's voice, even when it leads to uncomfortable places like 'Egypt.' The message encourages believers to seek the giver of gifts rather than just the gifts themselves, and to trust God's plan for restoration and purpose in their lives.Key Verses:- Matthew 1:20- Luke 1:20- Luke 2Key Takeaways:- True visions and dreams must be conceived by the Holy Spirit, not through human effort or mundane circumstances- God can break through spiritual paralysis and restore passion and purpose to our lives-Obedience to God's voice is essential, even when He leads us to uncomfortable places- We should seek the giver of gifts (God) rather than just focusing on the gifts themselves- God has a unique plan and calling for each person, and no one is too valuable to be left paralyzed by the enemy________________Thank you for joining us! We begin a new series this week, looking at how God's plans are bigger than you, but they include you. This week, we study how the enemy tries to lie and convince us that there is not a bigger plan and that Jesus has not come to give us life and life abundantly. Pastor Brandon shows us, through the scriptures, that the enemy's lies are the same ones he has always used; the big lies of, "You have to take care of yourself first", "If God has you, then you can be reckless and irresponsible", and "Serving God means missing out on everything." But, through the responses of Jesus in Matthew 4, we are taught that what "is written" reveals the bigger picture! - Key Verses // Matthew 4 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive
Following Jesus means believing in the things he said— even the hard things. In this sermon, we look at one of the most difficult teachings he gave to his followers and how it can bring us into the freedom we most desire. Key Verses: Matthew 16:24-25
Throughout all ages and times, there is one character trait that is held higher than anything else humility. In this sermon, we look at how the wisemen who journeyed to Jesus can show us how to grow in our humility today. Key Verses: Matthew 2:1-11
In a world that hates waiting, Joseph's story in Matthew shows the importance of patience. Patience isn't passive; it creates space for God's work, protects relationships, and aligns us with His greater story. Waiting faithfully can change everything. Key Verses: Matthew 1:18-24
Growing In God Podcast Program Number: GIG #277 Title: Love Is the Antidote Web Description: The world is experiencing an increase in lawlessness and a corresponding decrease in people's love. As a byproduct, anger and hatred are spreading like infectious diseases. We need an antidote. And that antidote is the Father's love in Christ. As believers in Christ, we have the ability and the responsibility to deliver this antidote to the world. Show Notes: When describing the end times, Yeshua (Jesus) said that the increase in lawlessness would cause people's love to grow cold. Yet also during these times the gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world. And what is the very foundation of the gospel of the Kingdom? It is the love of Christ. The love of Christ is the antidote for the sickness in the world that is draining love from people's hearts. How is this antidote delivered? As believers in Christ, we need to wake up to the fact that we are the ones to do that. Only the love of God, which we have received in Christ, can be effective in fighting the anger and hatred that is spreading like a virus in this age. This virus has even infected the Church. We have seen division, anger, and hatred infecting the hearts of believers. Now more than ever Christians must be loving one another because our oneness is the sign that the Father sent Christ into the world. In these days when darkness is spreading, we have to let our light shine. And our light is the love of God that is manifested in us. Not only should we be expressing our love among ourselves, but we should also love everyone around us, even our enemies, as the Lord commanded. In this day when Judeo-Christian values are being attacked and the persecution of Christians is increasing, we cannot draw back or hide our light. We are to love even our enemies as Christ did and show that we are sons of our Father. It may seem like everything in the world is becoming darker. But that means God is giving us an even greater light to shine. If the world is getting sicker, then we have an even greater antidote. Let us minister the antidote of God's love freely to everyone and spread the gospel of love throughout the world. Key Verses: • Matthew 24:12–14. "Because lawlessness is increased, most people's love will grow cold." • Matthew 5:14–16. "Let your light shine before men." • Proverbs 4:18–19. "The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn." • John 8:12. "I am the Light of the world." • 1 John 3:11. "This is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another." • Romans 13:8–12. "Let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light." • Peter 1:22. "Fervently love one another from the heart." • John 13:34–35. "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." • Matthew 5:43–48. "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father." • Luke 6:27. "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you." • Luke 6:35. "Love your enemies … and you will be sons of the Most High." Quotes: • "The world is dark and darkness is coming. The world is sick. It's upside down. Good is bad and bad is good. And it doesn't seem like necessarily there's an answer. But there is an answer, and the answer is God's love." • "This love that we have is being compared to a light, and it shines brighter and brighter. And we should expect to see more and more the love of God manifested in us and being able to be conveyed and imparted to this age." • "It is the time for us as believers to wake up to the need and to wake up to the reality that within our hearts we hold the antidote to the wickedness, to the evil, to the hatred that is so widespread in this age." Takeaways: 1. The love manifested in us and through us to the world repels the darkness from us personally. And it is the antidote that people in bondage to the darkness are needing. 2. People will know that we are Christ's disciples because we love one another. Our oneness is a sign to the world that the Father sent Christ into the world. 3. Our love cannot be just for fellow believers. It must also be for those who hate us, who are our enemies, and who persecute us. That is what shows that we are sons of the Father. 4. It is not so much what we preach. It is what we express and minister as light in the darkness, showing God's love to all His creation.
Faith Experiences the Invisible Now Growing In God Podcast Program Number: GIG #273 Web Description: It is with the heart that we believe, and the heart is the center of our emotions and feelings. That means faith is not actually a mental process. You are not trying to believe with your thoughts that something will happen. Instead, you are knowing in your heart, by the joy and love and emotions that come by the Spirit, that you already have fulfillment. Show Notes: How do we measure our faith? It seems that the only gauge we use is a negative one. We measure how much faith we do not have when something we believe for does not happen. But there is a better way. In a message titled, “Living Faith in Action,” John Stevens said of the promises of God that “we were to rejoice in them with faith. We were to lay hold upon them as though we already possessed them.” The greatest measure of our faith is the joy we experience in knowing that we have what God has promised. We associate believing with the mind. But according to the Scriptures, we believe in our heart. And scripturally the heart is the center of our emotions. The heart is where faith really comes from, and the heart is also at the root of what we feel. Our feelings then impact our physical bodies, our thoughts, and our behavior. So faith from the heart is expressed in emotions. If you want faith to heal someone, then the most effective way is not to mentally strive to believe but to feel the joy of the deliverance in your heart. We know that the fruit of the Spirit consists of emotions like love, joy, and peace. These emotions are spiritually imparted, meaning we do not get them from the material realm but from the spirit realm. This is the principle that Yeshua (Jesus) taught us in the simplest of terms. He said to pray, “Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” In other words, the answer exists right now in heaven. And you want it to also exist in your life right now. So do not pray for it to happen in the future. Pray with the knowledge that you have it now, and your faith is bringing it into the earth. Key Verses: • Matthew 6:10. “Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” • Hebrews 11:3. “What is seen was not made out of things which are visible.” • Romans 10:10. “With the heart a person believes.” • 1 Samuel 13:14. “The LORD has sought out for Himself a man after His own heart.” • John 10:10. “I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” • Romans 4:17–20. “With respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith.” • Hebrews 11:1. “Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” • 1 John 5:4. “This is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” Quotes: • “On the Sabbath, God finished His creation; He finished his works. His works are finished and now they exist. What we are learning to do is to reach into what exists and to find the ways to bring that out of the invisible into the visible, into an effective function within the material world.” • “We don't hope that there's the restoration of Israel. We don't hope for the Jews to be brought back into the land. We feel the joy. We should be dancing like David in the street at the return of the Ark of the Covenant because we are dancing over the return of the people, the return of all the wealth that they have and all the blessings that are theirs. We're living in it right now.” • “Your faith is the substance of the thing hoped for. It's the evidence of the thing not seen. That is not wishful thinking. That's God's faith given to you to believe Him and to rejoice with Him.” Takeaways: 1. How do you measure how much faith you have? Look to what you are feeling in your heart. 2. Having faith for something means that you have already embraced it in your heart. You are not praying with hope that it will happen. You pray knowing that you have it right now. 3. Our emotions are something tangible. Study your heart and the emotions that are there. Emotions trigger thoughts and then the thoughts come out of your mouth. And that is what is creative.
Pastor Brandon leads us through the second part of our series "Home Field Advantage" by informing us that there is often times a challenge at the home field. There is a disadvantage because the home crowd can often be the tough crowd. And one of the toughest parts of our calling as Christians is to take those principles home. But Pastor Brandon encourages us today to not let being overlooked by others make you think you are being overlooked by God. As we take a look at David's life and Jesus' teachings in this message, we learn that we can trust in God's plan and be able to love those who don't understand. - Key Verses // Matthew 13:54-58, 1 Samuel 16:10-13 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive
Growing In God Podcast Web Description: How do we walk through the end times? By walking with God! It is during these times that Christ's redemption and the Kingdom of God are nearer to us than ever before. Therefore, we look up. We are not focused on what is happening in the world. We are already seated with Christ in the heavenly places. And from there we appropriate His great power to be His effective instruments in the world. Show Notes: It is easy to study the Bible at home or in a nice study group. But it is in circumstances that challenge us and demand something of us personally where we begin to implement what we have studied in the Bible. We need an atmosphere where we can turn our knowledge and understanding of the Scriptures into an enabling to walk in and execute what we have learned. This shows us how to think about the end times. We can look at all the turmoil and spiritual conflict in the world and be concerned, even fearful, that we are entering the end times. But the end-time offers us a unique opportunity to have our faith tested and refined like pure gold. These times enable us to reach into the power of the Holy Spirit and move in the gifts and ministries required for this day. You could say, “But the events will be so terrifying that people's hearts will fail them out of fear!” It all depends on what you are focused on. Yeshua (Jesus) said, “When you see these things happen, look up! Lift up your heads because your salvation is drawing near. The Kingdom of God is near!” Put your focus on Christ who is seated in the heavenly places with the Father, who in His great love has also seated us there with Him. We are able now to dwell in His Kingdom. It is closer in these times than it has ever been. Now is the time to look up and reach into this great authority and power the Father has given us in Christ. We take this opportunity to appropriate everything we have learned in the Scriptures and apply them. Key Verses: • Matthew 16:21–23. “But He turned and said to Peter, ‘Get behind Me, Satan!'” • Luke 22:31–32. “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat.” • 1 Peter 1:6–7. “… the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold.” • Malachi 3:3. “He will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold.” • Luke 21:25–28. “When these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads.” • Luke 21:29–31. “When you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near.” • Ephesians 2:1–6. “God … seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” Quotes: • “We can't just study the Scriptures. We can't just talk about our faith and have that faith disconnected from what is necessary for us to walk in these things.” • “The Kingdom of God is near to us, and we can bring ourselves into that Kingdom. We can experience the things of the Kingdom, the fulfillments of the Kingdom now, if we are looking up.” • “If God made this available that He has raised us up—it's past tense. Don't say, ‘Well, when I die, I am going to heaven.' No. When we're here right now, we have the ability to rise up and be with Him where He is at the right hand of the Father and to move in our walk with God from that place.” Takeaways: 1. We live in the age where God has placed us. We should be grateful to Him that we are a part of His family and part of those who are walking in the knowledge of the gospel during these times. 2. When you are in a time of need, you learn to appropriate all that the Scriptures are saying. So rather than succumbing to fearfulness about the end times, we should recognize the opportunity that we have as individual believers to walk in these days in a way that glorifies the Lord, brings His strength and blessing, and appropriates all that we need. 3. In the end times the Lord commands us to look up because His redemption and His Kingdom draw near. In these difficult times we have a greater ability to minister God's redemption to the world and to walk in His Kingdom. 4. We are to be in the heavenly places seated with Christ and the Father in the Holy Spirit. From there we move in the earth as God's chosen people and His instruments right now in this day and through the time of the end.

Pastor John Ryan Cantu brings this week's message, “Nothing But Leaves." Key Verses: Matthew 21.6-11 ESV: “The disciples went and did as Jesus had directed them. They brought the donkey and the colt and put on them their cloaks, and he sat on them. Most of the crowd spread their cloaks on the road, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!” And when he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up, saying, “Who is this?” And the crowds said, “This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee.”” Mark 11.12-14 ESV: “On the following day, when they came from Bethany, he was hungry. And seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to see if he could find anything on it. When he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. And he said to it, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard it.” Sermon Topics: Holiness If you enjoyed the podcast, please subscribe and share it with your friends on social media.
