Happy Hump Day! Renaldo and Bernadette are talking positivity right off the bat! It is good to be positive at the start of our day! We are excited for today's show! We have two long-time OLR friends, Faye Elahi and Jaime-Lee Fraser! Jaime-Lee Fraser After surviving a bombing attack at the age of 22 and before self-help and biohacking became mainstream she discovered the power of vulnerability, positive psychology and the impact it had on human performance. Today, Jaime-Lee is an award winning business growth expert who's created a suite of multi-million dollar businesses, from start up, to acquisition, mergers and exits. Co-founding & partnering with companies in wealth management, real estate projects to tech start ups, supplement & novel ingredients and human performance organizations - she helps brands and teams connect to the company vision and effectively market meaningful projects into experiences that sell, scale and profit. She has a unique and innate ability to build businesses with a 360 degree view that mitigates risk and expands growth through innovative opportunity and powerful connection of its people to develop brands at scale. The Benefits Of Being Confident Confidence is something that is built. Self confidence is about trusting oneself. Bernadette says it is hard to navigate your own confidence when you are around people who are pretentious. Jaime-Lee and Bernadette speculate that overly-confident people might actually lack self confidence deep down. Over-confidence is a turn off when you are trying to size someone up and they are overly confident. A self confident person is someone who is ready to rise up to new challenges! Confidence is also being able to take control of situations, and being able to admit when you are wrong. Confidence and self esteem are different! Self esteem is about our self worth. We can still be confident and work towards something, but have low self esteem and self worth. Faye Elahi Faye Elahi is a non-celiac, gluten-sensitive nutritionist with over 30 years of experience in special needs nutrition. She has helped thousands of individuals with food allergies & Intolerances, Celiac Disease, Attention Deficit Disorder, Hyperactivity Disorder, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Faye is the author of the popular gluten-free nutrition book, "Ready, Set, Eat!" She has written over 50 articles about the relationships between diet and behavior, sensory integration disorder, gluten, casein, yeast, and toxin-free diets. The Daily Habits to Protect Against Viral Attacks and Boost Your Immune System The more stress we let in, the less we sleep and the less our immune system can fight off bacterias and viruses. So number 1, be careful of your sugar intake! Be a good example to your children by making good food choices! Immunity is something we all need to be vigilant about. Faye says we need to have a blood test done to see what we are deficient on! Faye says that we need to know if we are vitamin D deficient, so a blood test is most easy and attainable. 5,000 iu doses of vitamin d, daily, are what Faye and Bernadette recommends. Exercise the minimum 30 minutes a day! Sleep from 6-8 hours at night. Sleep is key for a healthy brain and body, so turn off you screens before bedtime! Also, connect with friends! Connection with other people is key for a happy life. Finally, meditate! Thank You! A big thank you to our guests, Faye Elahi and Jaime-Lee Fraser! Find more of Jaime-Lee on her website here! Two of our favorite guests are on the show today; Jamie Lee Frasier on Emotional Matrix Therapy (EMT), and Sam Morris on Preparedness. Emotional Matrix Therapy Jaime Lee Fraser is a bomb attack survivor. She was vacationing in Bali with friends in 2002, when two bombs went off in the nightclub she was in. Several hundred people were killed. Fraser was surrounded by bodies, alive and dead, glass and thought she was going to die. Her life was never the same. She got a counselor – but didn’t feel like it helped at all. Then in London she found a hypnotherapist, that was what helped more than anything. More than anything, she dove more into spirituality and self help. All in all, it's gratitude that changes the way that we operate. Fraser became a master of Emotional Matrix Therapy, a form of timeline therapy. When you go to a psychologist they listen and give you ways to cope on how to change your thinking or create new habits. With timeline therapy its your own personal timeline, more of a subconscious way of looking at life. It works on eradicating negative thoughts or behaviors by revisiting trauma and releasing it. You definitely want to hear her full interview, or check out her website, jaimeleefraser.com Preparedness Sam recently changed his company name to Unbreakable Human Project, and he changed it because of preparedness. Women in his community needed help as well as the men. The state of the world is we are having a human experience of chaos, so he changed it to work with all humans, making the human experience better.  Morris' Unbreakable Human Project programs are customized to what each person needs. Benjamin Franklin said, “By failing to prepare you are preparing to fail” and Morris agrees.  Some of the benefits of being prepared is the quiet mind. When you do everything you can to prepare, the more relaxed you are and the better you are at what you are there to accomplish. The more prepared you are the more flexible you can be. Being prepared means you have reduced the possible negative outcomes. You can course correct. When you have zero preparation, you are super rigid. Morris suggests using the 80/20 method. Do what you need to do 80% of the time and what you want to do 20% of the time. When you do what you need to do most of the time, life becomes more enjoyable as a whole. Thank you! It’s about how we "show up" in our day to day activities. What we put out is what we get back. We need intention and action. Sometimes we think the worst thoughts. Jaime Lee says we have to practice positive thinking instead of harboring negative thoughts. It’s important to have emotional intelligence and be self-aware. We are manifesting everything that happens in our day, so if that includes money, money will come our way! Fitness Expert Tina Bernet Allen Expert Fitness instructor, Tina Bernet Allen is back with us today! Tina says that you have to watch your cortisol levels when working out. If you’re over training, you won’t sleep well. We need to check in with our bodies outside of the workout setting to! Tina says to check in with yourself to see if how your physical energy is doing before working out. If your resting heart rate or digestion is off, those are signs that you’re over stressed. Erik Hastings from one of our favorite nonprofit groups, Mercy For Animals, stops by to discuss high speed chicken slaughterhouse lines. Jaime Lee Fraser is back to discuss money blocks and beliefs surrounding money and how to have money efficacy. Mercy For Animals Erik Hastings used to be a hunter and avid meat consumer. Erik works for Mercy For Animals as an undercover investigator and worked his way up to Senior Investigations Specialist for U.S. operations. On Erik's latest investigation for Mercy For Animals, he exposed the atrocities happening in high-speed slaughterhouses via hidden cameras. The FDA allows 175 birds to be killed each minute, how disgusting! Also per the FDA, "free range" doesn't always mean "free range." Erik and Mercy For Animals are working towards having congress to not allow high-speed slaughter, especially amongst a pandemic. Erik wants us to know that chickens are surprisingly smart and kind. Chickens play like cats and dogs in groups! Chickens can even play fetch! For more information on Mercy For Animals fight to end high-speed slaughter of poultry, check out their website and consider donating to their cause! We’ve heard from this guy before, but I had to interview him again. Lee Fraser is one of those minds that many try to mimic, and why? Because when he sets his mind on something, he gets it done. This past weekend, I got to participate in a weekend Lee is well known for hosting: the Creatives Weekend. Over the span of either three or four days, creatives participate in workshops, socializing, creative feats and outdoor exploration. There’s something for everyone. I got to speak at this event as well as do a live podcast with the man himself. Lee gives us another peak into what drives him as well as the emotions and mental obstacles that come along with rejection or things just not going as planned. His main motto? It’s simple. F*ck it. Have a listen as this inspirational guy gives us a lesson and a laugh, and check out his own podcast, Living Life Intently.

Jaime-Lee Fraser is a business growth expert who develops professional companies into market leading brands. She is also the co-founder of Kwired a branding and acquisition readiness firm. Jaime-Lee has coined the acronym CAUSE which stands for connection, authenticity, uniqueness, storytelling, and emotion to build brands that really stand out. Jaime-Lee stands out with her own unique story. She was vacationing in Bali in 2002 when she ended up being surrounded by flames after the building that she was in was bombed. She used this as motivation to thrive as opposed to living in fear. We talk about being your true self, building brands that get noticed, authentic storytelling, masterminds, personality types, and even using the Wim Hof method to sit in a bath of ice. Show Notes: [03:31] Jaime-Lee was in a bombing attack in Bali in 2002. She wasn't harmed physically. She was trapped in a burning building. It was remarkable how everyone wanted to help everyone else survive. [04:50] She came out the other side being grateful for being alive. Although, the experience did take an emotional toll. [05:05] The experience was traumatic and transformational. [05:44] She tries to look at it as post-traumatic thriving. [06:30] It was difficult moving away from the fight or flight mode. She did recognize that she needed to take time out to rest. [07:32] She moved to London by herself. [08:24] Performance is the core of what we do as humans. She started working with great mentors and she met her business partner Shawn Wells. [11:14] CAUSE came about because these five concepts are important to grow a brand. [13:13] A huge piece of standing out is being authentic. All of the pieces need to be taken into the storytelling to build a brand. [15:47] She also uses NLP when working with clients. [19:19] Jaime-Lee loves masterminds and the events that she attends. In person meetings are a game changer. [21:51] Consistency is key for growth. [23:24] Jaime-Lee is an ENFP in the Myers & Briggs personality test. [25:04] To step out of her comfort zone Jaime-Lee seeks new experiences. She did an ice bath challenge. [27:43] They used the Wim Hof Method. [28:18] You have to bring yourself to a place of control. You have to master the breathing and connect your breath to a place of peace. [30:40] Having routines in place helps Jaime-Lee deal with stress. Getting decisions in place is helpful. Using lists also helps with overwhelm. [35:18] Asking too many questions means you are out of flow. [39:28] We all need a reset and a break from technology. [40:03] Look at CAUSE and what it means to you. Jaime-Lee Fraser  is my guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview. She is a business strategy insider, the Co-Founder & Director of an award winning Financial Advice Firm, Master NLP Practitioner and a Business Growth Expert. She is on a mission to help the world create their own freedom, and financial independence after almost seeing her own future snatched away from her in the most terrible of ways. Starting her career as a Customer Sales Representative for United Airlines, she was very much on the corporate path, working for the man to build his dream. Whether she had desires at that point to build her own dream, who knows, as she then moved into another position in Financial Services , before working for Comminsure as their National Technical Manager? All pretty standard stuff. But one thing is for sure, her focused changed almost overnight to one of "Lets make my time on this planet the way that I want it to be!" And who can blame her, as back in 2002, our guest was enjoying a night out in the tropical paradise that is Bali. The Sari Club in the popular beach resort of Kuta had been full of holidaymakers, enjoying the evening, the conversation, the music and the drinks, before a bomb detonated. She was trapped by the explosion, facing death and trapped in flames. As she says "While it was the worst and best day of my life as I miraculously survived, I knew I had more to give in this life." And now she is very much her own woman, and has transformed herself into a financial entrepreneur, business & performance strategist joining forces with visionary leaders and emerging entrepreneurs, to guide them to create their most powerful, happy and successful life possible. She speaks passionately about what she thinks we should achieve, as she says "The reality, money is a significant element to creating freedom. But I also believe it's living with more meaning to be who you really want to be. It's a process of growth, improvement and a deeper force to become the most powerful, happy and successful you possible. So how did this lady transform herself from survivor to business leader in such a short period of time? And does she feel that although not wanting a bomb to go off next to all her clients, the world more than often needs a shock for it to realise "Time is limited....let's get going?" Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start join up dots, with the one and only Jaime-Lee Fraser
