This week we are discussing "Mirror Mirror 3: The Voyeur" and this is the first movie that truly was a head-scratcher, but was so much fun to discuss. This movie had a cast with Monique Parent, Mark Ruffalo, David Naughton, and more. We tried to figure out the plot of the movie at the same time we discussed my love of Julio's character, the mirror bleeding, is hooking up with a ghost cheating, and more. This is a video review you can watch at sequelsonly.com/mirrormirror3 The next sequel that will be discussed next is "Hangover 3" in honor of Mardi Gras. This interview had me interviewing "Linda" aka Alan's mom played by the talented Sondra Currie. Sondra talked about how she broke into the industry and how she made it happen for herself, then we talked about her what she called “Slice em dice em” movies from the '70s like Policewoman, Jessi's Girls, Fugitive Lovers, and more. Plus she guest-starred on pretty much every amazing show in the 70s and 80s and had some fun stories to tell. Her sister is runaways founder Cherie Currie. Great chat. Dr. Snuggles and friends return for episode 32 of our spin-off show about the weird world of softcore skin-flicks! It's finally Jim Wynorski time, as we check out his 1993 debut erotic thriller Sins of Desire! It's got what you'd call an all-star erotic thriller cast, with Jay Richardson, Tanya Roberts, Delia Sheppard, Becky LeBeau, Monique Parent, Jan-Michael Vincent, Nick Cassavetes, Carrie Stevens and Gail Thackray all showing up! That is one crazy cast. There are maybe less thrills than one might expect from the erotic thriller genre, but there are explosions and shootouts and plasma balls and awesome Becky LeBeau songs and also a genuinely beautifully shot finale in a spooky abandoned film studio. Plus, we chat about the life and times of the one and only Tanya Roberts. She's done it all, from Charlie's Angels to James Bond, with some truly unexpected detours in between, including a rock 'n' roll wrestling movie with Roddy Piper, and The Pandora Directive, the fourth game in the Tex Murphy point and click adventure game series. Special guest Jim Ether says that's a good game, by the way. Also, please help our buddy Jimmy out by contributing to his Patreon so he can make more delightful arts! Monique was born in San Luis Obispo, California on November 4th in the year of the Snake. At the age of three she became obsessed with ballerinas and begged her parents for dance lessons. Naturally they gave her what she wanted - spoiled brat that she is. They even gave her a bonus - a little sister, Marnay. Life was good, ballet classes and her very own doll - er, sister. But then things changed... Dance recital. With an audience... From that moment on Monique was hooked and like any addict she needed more. More ballet. Then tap, then jazz. More recitals and more costumes and more applause. But it still wasn’t enough. At the age of nine she started mainlining theater. Drama-rama, Baby! Monique did all the recitals and plays and talent contests that she could. Monique's poor family could hardly keep up with her, so after many years they finally staged (forgive the pun) an intervention. AKA: high school. For a time in her teen years, Monique managed to put aside her addiction for more “normal” pursuits - boys, rebelling against authority, boys - that sort of thing. Oh, did we mention boys? After high school, Monique attended Alan Hancock College (great theater dept.). Big Mistake. She thought she could just take a few theater and dance classes while she figured out what to do with her life. What Monique figured out was that acting was her life. So the only thing left to do was pack up her bags, move to Hollywood and be a big star! Or as it turns out, move to Los Angeles, study acting at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, go on lots of auditions, work a lot of 16 hour days and become a little bitty star. For now... Stay tuned as the drama continues to unfold!
