Olympic Gold MedalistThe world of sports I find fascinating to watch! Years of discipline, conditioning, travel, competitions, etc. all go into building a winning athlete & team. Their stories behind the World Championships, Team M.V.P.'s & Gold are even more so. Can an orphan from an abusive childhood, shuffled from foster home to home, even living on the streets, low self-esteem go on to be a winner in life? It starts with the stories about you have in your mind. You have to see it, speak it, mentor with & surround yourself & your environment to condition YOU for victory! What an eye opener to hear about life after the games from one of my friends Olympic Gold Medalist Dana Hee. She is grateful to God for her victories. Dana may be a familiar face, not only from winning the "Gold" bunot only from winning the "Gold" but from television & movies like Mortal Combat, Charlie's Angels, Lethal Weapon & many more. Dana Lynn Hee is an Olympic Gold Medalist and is currently a Hollywood film and television actress, as well as one of an award winning stuntwomen in the entertainment industry. . She has also doubled for Hollywood's top actresses': Nicole Kidman, Uma Thurman, Gwynneth Paltrow, Renee Russo, and Jennifer Garner. She also a noted writer, lecturer and television color commentator, and has an extensive background as a speaker to Fortune 500 companies. It's an understatement to say that Dana's childhood was hard. The child of divorced, alcoholic parents, she endured abuse, abandonment, and despair. The years of being passed back and forth between an orphanage, suicidal family members, halfway houses, a commune, government shelter, and finally a foster home, took their tole. Dana grew up to be a young woman with little self-esteem or self-confidence, and a huge fear of failure. To her, nothing seemed possible. It was as if the two words, 'I can't' were programmed into her mind, and she struggled to escape a lifelong habit of running from her fears. Dana looked within herself for strength and determined to make a change. Armed with an ounce of courage, and a glimpse of hope, she set out to make a dream of hers come true. Through the agonizing, against-the-odds process of this struggle, she made the transformation from a shy, under-achieving, below-average young woman to an Olympic Gold Medalist with a new sense of self-esteem, and, finally, some hope for the future. Her story of how this happened - and the lessons you can take from it - are enough to inspire the most discouraged soul. But Dana didn't stop there. She started accepting speaking engagements, then graduated to keynote speeches. She shifted from martial arts, to modeling, and then acting, before setting her sights on becoming a top Hollywood stuntwoman in the movie industry. If this sounds easy, it wasn't. To this day, Dana battles self-doubts whose roots extend back to her youth. But she never quits. She competes successfully in the world's most challenging industries.Dana's autobiography, One Step with Courage: The Story of My Life From Olympic Gold Medalist to Hollywood Stuntwoman, was released in May 2020. Santa Monica, Thanksgiving of 1958, Jamie Lee Curtis was born to screen idols Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh. Left to be raised by a single mother as a toddler, Curtis dropped out after a single semester at law school to take on the wild world of thespianism as a television bit player in notable episodes of The Shaun Cassidy/Parker Stevenson Hardy Boys, Buck Rogers, Charlies Angels and Columbo, before a recurring part on the short lived Operation Petticoat sitcom. But a prominent screen debut in John Carpenter's soon to be iconic slasher Halloween led to a succession of similar roles both in and apart from the franchise that resulted, in such well remembered efforts as The Fog, Prom Night, Terror Train and Road Games (not to mention Halloween II, H2O, Resurrection and the recent revival trilogy under David Gordon Green. Concerned about being typecast, she began to branch out into comedy, appearing (and generally stealing the show) in box office hits like Trading Places, A Fish Called Wanda, Freaky Friday and the recent Everything Everywhere All At Once as well as more dramatic roles in films like Perfect, Love Letters, Blue Steel and True Lies. Join us as we take on the original "Final Girl", scream queen, comedienne and more, the one and only Jamie Lee Curtis, only here on Weird Scenes! What a CreepSeason 19, Episode 7Bill MurrayBill Murray is a comedy legend who first came to fame as one of the “Not Ready for Primetime Players” on Saturday Night Live from 1977-1980 and has gone on to star in classic films like Stripes, Rushmore, Ghostbusters, What About Bob?, and Groundhog Day--to name a few.He also has won Emmy Awards, been nominated for an Academy Award, and received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in 2016. He is also known to be an abusive Creep who has been a bully in just about every sense of the word on set and off since the beginning of his career and only in the last year faced anything resembling consequences. Three years ago on this podcast, I began asking women of different ages, sexual identities and socioeconomic backgrounds a series of questions about the most intimate details of their lives. I called the interviews Under Covers. All of the women were asked the same questions about their sexual awakenings, different partners, early experiences and relationships, with the hope that we could find healing in discovering how much we all share. Well this season, I've decided to flip the script. I'm taking the exact questions I asked women, and I'm asking them to men. In this first Under Covers with a man, I speak with a guy I've named David. That's not his real name, every one of these interviews is completely anonymous. All you need to know is that David is 51, married and identifies as gay. That's where all similarities end…or begin. LINKS Here are some stills from Angels In Chains. The Paley Center on Angels in Chains For all things Charlie's Angels, check out CharliesAngels.com, run by my pal Mike Pingel, THE Charlie's Angels authority. If you'd like to be interviewed Under Covers, please email me. I'd love to hear from you and I'm especially looking for people of color and LGBTQIA folks. There's no judgment and I will not reveal your identity. Sex Ed The Musical is available on iTunes, Stitcher, Podtail, IHeartRadio, Podbay, Spotify and more. As you likely know by now, I have teamed up with Red Tash and Kat Bradbury to create a Kindle Vella science fiction adventure serial, under the collective pen name of Kaye Elsie. It's called "SPI Girls Kick Ass!" It's like Charlies Angels meets The Matrix. This week's podcast is chapter 3 of that serial, the first chapter I personally wrote, starring my character Jaxa. She lives in a Star Trek-inspired virtual world, holding a double job: Jaxa works as a maintenance officer, but she also works for the Singularity Policing Initiative to help make the virtual world run smoothly, so the residents don't have to worry about Immersion being broken. I hope you'll check the rest of the story out at sillyhatbooks.com/spi

Born in NYC. Went to Pratt Institute in New York and got a degree in photography/filmmaking. Took the Directors Guild of America DGA Assist Directors Training Program test. Was accepted & spent three years being trained at all the major studios & production companies as an assistant director. Graduated & became DGA Second AD. Spent 4 years being a Second AD on features (On Golden Pond, Xanadu, Grease 2, etc) & hit TV shows (Charlies Angels, The Hulk, Bionic Woman, etc). Moved up to First A.D on The Dukes of Hazzard and spent some time being a First AD/Assoc Producer on endless TV shows and features, like The X-Files, The Shield, The District, and Veronica Mars. But.. I wanted to write & direct movies. So I quit. I holed up at a lake house in Washington & started writing like crazy. Several scripts later, I came back down to LA & produced & directed a short from a horror script I wrote called ‘Used Body Parts'. Got into some fests including Shriekfest & even won a couple of awards (Best Thriller Atlanta Horror, Best Special Effects Crimson Screen Horror Film Fest). I'm currently working to secure financing for the feature length version. While on the festival route, I produced/directed an indie film called ‘Black Widows'. It's a very dark comedy about three girls out for revenge. Got a release on DVD and cable and Amazon is releasing DVDs February 21st! On pre-sale now on Amazon. The website is www.blackwidowsthemovie.com. Right now, we're in pre-production on a thriller short called ‘Angel'. The actress in Used Body Parts, Brigitte Graham wrote the script and will direct. We start shooting in March.
