Today's conversation is all about the OWN IT part of CLOCK IT, OWN IT, CLEAN IT UP…and who better to share than the accountability queen herself, my amazing client Heather! Heather is a mother of three, a healthcare executive, and a self-proclaimed attention whore who loves deeply, leads fiercely, and never backs down from a challenge…and she proved that when she finally (after THREE FUCKING YEARS!) signed up for The Connected Woman! Facing down your patterns is never easy. But Heather makes it look that way with the way she owns them. It can take fucking AGES for people to clean up their patterns because they spend so long pretending they don't exist. Not an issue for Heather. And I'm hopeful as FUCK she's going to inspire you all to take a long, hard look in the mirror…because if everyone owned their shit the way she does, they'd hit a breakthrough a whole lot faster. As Paul continues in his letter to the Roman church, he moves from the brokenness of culture to the brokenness in every human heart—including our own. The “window” of Romans 1:18-32 is replaced with a mirror in chapter 2. It's not just about what's wrong with the world—it's about what's wrong with us. If we're not careful to look in the mirror and repent of our own sin, we can quickly become self-righteous and just as unrighteous as those we might condemn. Paul reminds us that God's standard is perfection—something none of us can meet on our own. The good news is that perfect is a gift through Jesus. God's kindness isn't a stamp of approval on our sin; it's meant to lead us to repentance. Before we can effectively bring the good news to a broken world outside the window, we must first look in the mirror—confessing our own sin and letting the Gospel transform us.

We spend so much time stressing about our kids' screen time — but have you ever stopped to ask, what about mine? The truth is, our kids are watching us way more than we realize. Every time we pick up our phones at the dinner table or scroll while they're talking to us, we're showing them what “normal” tech use looks like.In this episode, I brought in Titania Jordan from Bark Technologies to have an honest, eye-opening conversation about how our habits shape theirs. We swap personal stories, dig into the latest research, and share what we've both learned (sometimes the hard way) about modeling balance with our devices. This isn't about guilt-tripping parents — because let's be real, we're all figuring this out as we go and no one's perfect. It's about awareness. It's about realizing that the little things we do every day add up, and that we actually have the power to set a different tone at home. If you've ever wondered how to raise kids with healthier relationships to tech, this episode will give you some hope, perspective, and maybe even the nudge you've been needing to put your own phone down first. This episode is sponsored by Bark Technologies, the best option for kid-safe devices. Mirror, Mirror (On My Screen) DEMO CUT by Bill Bennett
This episode is part three of the Mirror Mirror series—conversations with friends who illuminate my soul! This series is rooted in reflection on how we show up, grow, and build lives that align with our values. We're unpacking identity, wellness, motherhood, money, and more. In this episode, I'm joined by Dr. Maryam Jernigan-Noesi, a powerhouse psychologist, educator, and mother. We dive into the unique lens of Black motherhood as a psychological process, what it means to parent with liberation in mind, and how Maryam's personal and professional worlds inform one another.
‘80s metal luminaries The Rods are back with Wild Dogs Unchained, a new album that combines reimagined classics from their past with masterfully crafted new songs.Hooks, grooves, crafty, formidable, and rebellious are songwriting attributes that The Rods gladly embrace. On Wild Dogs Unchained, the veteran power trio continues their famed aural assault with songs like “Eyes of a Dreamer” and “Tears for the Innocent,” revealing heretofore unrealized musical melodicism, while re-tooled classics, “Hurricane” and “Wild Dogs Unchained,” percolate with renewed vigor. On Wild Dogs Unchained, the playing is harder, the grooving is heavier, and the singing more soulful than ever before. David “Rock” Feinstein (guitar/vocals), Freddy Villano (bass), and Carl Canedy (drums) have crafted a definitive Rods album aimed at pleasing die-hard fans and new audiences alike. Once again mixed and mastered by Chris Collier, Wild Dogs Unchained flexes considerable musical muscle and builds upon the ironclad sonic template that these three musicians have forged over recent years. Not content to rest on their laurels or their legacy, The Rods are getting tighter, more nuanced, and perhaps even more bludgeoning with age. As Derric Miller at hardrockhaven.net said, “The Rods just pummel you. There's an insane energy coming from this band.”TRACK BY TRACK: EYES OF A DREAMER, David FeinsteinThis song is about people wanting to fulfill their dreams; never to worry how big your dreams are, or how hard it may be to achieve them. Even through tough times, be persistent and continue with determination to make your dreams in life reality. ROCK AND ROLL FEVER, David FeinsteinThis song is about musicians who are strong-willed and live for their music. Music to these individuals, as well as fans, becomes like a drug to them. It's an addiction. It makes you feel good making the music and listening to the music. It makes the fans feel good, as well as the performers playing the music. Everybody's got the “fever.” MIRROR MIRROR, David FeinsteinThis song is about looking at yourself. What do you think of yourself? What kind of person do you think you are? What kind of person should you be? Look in the mirror, “Are you evil or divine?” TEARS FOR THE INNOCENT, David FeinsteinThis song is about senseless war, and the innocent people that die because of it. We cry for those innocent people and feel sorry for what they have lost. Their homes, their land, their lives. WILD DOGS UNCHAINED David FeinsteinCarl Canedy is the writer of this particular song, but I think I can speak for him in saying that this song is about fighting to be free. It pertains to all people. Fight for your freedom. TIME TO ROCK, David FeinsteinFor a rock musician, it is always “Time to Rock.” It's anticipating an event or concert that you will be playing at. The excitement, the lights, the electrify in the air. It's always a rush when it's “Time to Rock.” RUN RUN RUN, David FeinsteinThis song is about being free. Casting your fate to the wind. More like a biker anthem. A feeling that I think most of us would like to feel sometime. To know the feeling of what it's like to really be free. WORLD ON FIRE, David FeinsteinInspired by the state that our world is in right now. Wars, hunger, homelessness. It's about having faith that our world will get better and asking, “What can we do to help make that happen?” MAKE ME A BELIEVER, David FeinsteinThis song is about perseverance. No matter how hard things get in life, to stand up and do what is needed to make things better. To be a believer and to always fight for what is right. HURRICANE, David FeinsteinThis song is about a car called “Hurricane” owned by an eager person who is possessed with the idea that his car is the best, fastest car on the street. “Hurricane” is always ready for a challenge.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-adventures-of-pipeman--941822/support.Click Here to Subscribe for PERKS, BONUS Content & FREE GIVEWAYS!Follow @pipemanradio on all socials & Pipeman Radio Requests & Info at www.linktr.ee/pipemanradioStream The Adventures of Pipeman daily & live Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays at 1PM ET on W4CY Radio & Talk 4 TV. Mirror, Mirror ( On My Phone ) DEMO by Bill Bennett
What started as a restless night in a college dorm turned into a face-to-face confrontation with something dark—maybe even demonic. In this gripping tale, a former football player recalls an eerie, mirror-bound standoff with a shadowy figure that may have followed him since childhood. Was it a dream, sleep paralysis, or a full-blown paranormal encounter with something feeding off his rage and fear? As the night stretched into dawn, so did the tension—until time snapped back and left him forever changed.
