Carowinds announced it will now require park visitors who are 15 or younger to be accompanied by an adult who is at least 21 after 4 p.m. to remain in the park. Any underage guests found in the park without a chaperone will be escorted out for the remainder of the day. New crime statistics released this week show property crime is up 10% in the first quarter of the year and 911 calls are also up.
