Guest: Jean Gordon Director of Visit Arvada They City of Arvada is a community of about 120,000 residents just west of downtown Denver.  It's easy to get to, there's free parking and you can ride the G Line from Union Station to Olde Town in just 20 minutes.  Olde Town has shut down a majority of the streets so you can walk the streets with a cup of hot chocolate and look at the lights and the new tree.  They have an ice skating rink right there as well under the lights.  There are many locally owned stores in Olde Town as well to complete our shopping.  The Arvada Center is running Disney's Beauty and the Breast though December 31st.      https://www.visitarvada.orgSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Guest: Joe Hengstler Business Improvement District Director Olde Town Arvada is the downtown of Arvada.  It is a walkable part of town with lots of cute retail stores, restaurants and breweries. Parking is free and you can easily take the G Line from downtown.  Some of the events you can do this summer in Olde Town is free movies in park, free bikes rides, second Saturday Concert Series & Street Fest, yoga and a farmers market.  Taste of Arvada is coming up from July 21 from 5-8pm at the Apex Center.
