How do we find the Holiness that Paul is challenging the church at Corinth to have, and the Holiness God wants from us? I will than set the foundation of Why this is so important as we talk about the phrase “The Lord is”. As we began to understand Who the Lord is we encounter the ability to Love and Obey, which then becomes a natural outflow of who we are and who He is in our life.Key Scriptures:Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Exodus 15:11, 16:16, I Samuel 1:1, Genesis 1:5, 2:24, 11:6, Ezra 3:1, Ezekiel 37:15-17, Job 11:7-9, Jn. 17:3, Is. 40:28, 44:6, Ex. 20:1-6, Ps. 139:7-16, Rev. 1:8, 2 Cor. 13:14, Mark 12:28-34
Pastor Chase has a word on Acts 10, we see what happens when people choose to obey, believe, and persist in prayer. Cornelius prayed faithfully, and Peter obeyed even when it stretched him. Through both of them, God revealed a bigger purpose. This chapter shows us that prayer is the pathway to God's plans. What starts in quiet faith can lead to powerful transformation. When we trust God and act on His voice, we step into what He's already preparing. And the promise is clear: God wants to pour out His Spirit—on all people, without limit. So keep praying. Keep believing. Keep obeying. God is ready to pour it out.
