I Declare Joy, Peace, and Hope! "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13 Heavenly Father, I come to You in gratitude, my heart overflowing with thanks for the gift of this new day. Your mercies are fresh, like the morning dew, inviting me to embrace joy, peace, and hope. As I breathe in Your presence, I remember Romans 15:13, where Paul encourages us to be filled with all joy and peace in believing. Lord, let that same spirit of joy resonate within me today. I reflect on the story of Paul and Silas, who sang hymns in the dark of a prison cell. Despite their chains, they dared to proclaim praises, trusting in Your mighty power. As they lifted their voices, You caused an earthquake that shook the very foundations of their prison. Their joy became their strength, their praise unlocked chains, reminding me that my circumstances do not define my spirit. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Father, I ask for emotional resilience as I navigate this life's journey. Philippians 4:6-7 speaks to my heart, assuring me that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard my heart and mind. May Your calmness wash over me, dispelling every fear and doubt that seeks to invade my sanctuary. As I declare hope, Lord, I cling to the promise that hope does not disappoint — Your steadfast love is the anchor of my soul. In moments of despair, I will raise my hands in praise, knowing that You turn our mourning into dancing. Nehemiah 8:10 reminds me, "The joy of the Lord is my strength," fueling my spirit to face each new challenge with courage. God of hope, fill me with an abundance of joy and peace as I trust in You. May Your light shine brightly through me, inviting others to experience the overwhelming grace and love that only come from You. In Jesus name. Amen. Psalm 28:7 says, "The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him." Amen.https://maglife.org

Hi friend, Merry Christmas! Here is a message of hope, joy, peace and love for your marriage. We pray this episode blesses you:) .................................................................................................................
In this profound and hope-filled Advent message, Pastor Karl continues the Christmas series with an honest, Scripture-saturated exploration of the third great gift Jesus brings: joy. Turning to the familiar yet astonishing encounter in Luke 1:26–38, Pastor Karl places us in the world of a young, powerless Mary—living in obscurity, poverty, and spiritual dryness under Roman oppression—when an angel suddenly declares her “highly favored” and announces she will bear the Son of God as a virgin. With pastoral clarity and compassion, Pastor Karl redefines biblical joy not as a forced smile, fleeting happiness, or denial of pain, but as a deep, settled confidence and calm cheerfulness in God—even when circumstances feel devastating. Mary's potentially ruinous situation (public shame, rejection, and lifelong stigma) becomes the backdrop for a joy that is rooted not in perfect conditions but in surrender to a perfect Savior. Joy, he shows, is not situational; it flows from trusting God's greater reality, His unchanging character, and His presence when clarity is absent.Drawing from Mary's radical response—“Let it be to me according to your word”—Pastor Karl tenderly calls every listener to the same doorway of lasting joy: radical surrender. Whether facing disappointment, health struggles, dashed dreams, or seasons of grief, joy grows when we release control, timelines, and the need to understand, and instead say “Yes, Lord” to whatever He has spoken. This is essential listening for anyone longing to move beyond seasonal happiness into the quiet, resilient cheerfulness that only Christ, born in a manger and risen from an empty tomb, can give.Watch all our sermons on our youtube channel "Flipside Christian Church"Join us in person 9:00am & 10:30am every Sunday morning.37193 Ave 12 #3h, Madera, CA 93636For more visit us at flipside.churchFor more podcasts visit flipsidepodcasts.transistor.fm

How can art serve as a powerful way to honor pregnancy, birth, and parenting experiences—especially for families who are often underrepresented in birth spaces? In this episode, Dr. Rebecca Dekker explores this question with Lauren J. Turner, a Baltimore-based artist, birth worker, and founder of Birth Nerds. This series explores the heavy burdens that life and adversity place on us—such as depression, anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, and more. We will be unpacking the science of these, going over what is happening in our brains and bodies as well as looking at individuals in scripture and wisdom from text and science to show us how to resiliently and biblically unbind ourselves, restore our peace and step forward into joy and purpose, even when it is messy. For this first episode in our series, I am bringing you out with me to...the desert, my desert and share a different perspective on redemption and obedience. This is the part of most people's stories that they leave out, but I promised you I'd be raw and vulnerable; sharing the good, the bad and the ugly, and I meant it. In this episode, you'll discover: How we can find redemption and peace, even in our desert seasons Lessons in obedience Examples of bringing our emotions, including anger and grief to God and what happens when we do.
